“My husband and I had a delicious lunch at Ichiban today. My maki rolls were wonderful, and my husband really enjoyed the General So chicken. The hot and sour soup was some of the best we've ever had. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is beautiful, with soft music in the background. The staff is polite and professional. We can't wait to go back soon for dinner. Ichiban is now our definite go-to place for Chinese and Japanese food. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“5 stars for Chinese takeout
We had the crab rangoon, General Tso’s chicken, and honey chicken.
Ordering was easy and quick, they let us sub vegetable fried rice instead of pork fried rice for our combo platter, great prices, food was ready quickly, and really great portions.
There are small, clean booths where you can sit to eat. Service was great.
We preferred the General Tso’s and the crab rangoon was well seasoned. We would eat here again if we were in the area“

“Fantastic Chinese establishment that hasn't lost its shine over the years. Good portions of delicious authentic Chinese flavors. For the adventurous eater, not your boring typical American-ified Chinese restaurant. Recommend all day and night!!!“

“Absolute best Chinese takeout in all of Williamsburg, Virginia!!! they are super fast with their food, always very kind and lovely, and the best cut of meats anywhere around. I’ve been coming here for almost 4 years, but I’ve never had any questionable bits of chicken or beef. Their dumplings are in house made and not bought from a Costco like some places.“

“Seems like the norm for most Chinese take out to ignore cosmetics. Signs on the outside very faded and the food signs inside were also faded and dusty. The sit down area looks like they never fully recovered after COVID. The food itself was fresh and tasty however.“

“My wife and I drove down to this location prior to coming down on June 27 with the Girls Scouts. We wanted to see how good the food was and the condition of the restaurant. We weren't that please with the first visit, but we introduced ourselves to the P.O.C and the attitude changed which wasn't a problem. When we drove down a week later with 50 Girls the food was a lot better, and the service was great. The manager stated that she tried the day prior to call workers in to help with the service because not only did they have our 50 to serve but another bus load came in 20 minutes later. I normally don't give 4's or 5's on rating but when you have over 100 ppl to serve plus the other customers they deserve it. The food was up to temperature the 2nd visit and fresh. The 5 servers that was there did an outstanding job!“

“We’re visiting a friend and we’re from Tampa. The food is very good. It tastes wonderful! He said it would be good and we’re very happy. We travel the country and this beats anything from New York, Florida, California, Michigan. Wow I’m pleasantly surprised!“

“we are in town on vacation, and we were out playing mini golf and riding go karts until about 9 PM. There is very little open past 9 PM and grateful this place was open until 10. we ordered crab Rangoon, fried dumplings, Singapore, noodles, and chicken lo mein. It fed two adults, a teen and a tween for about 40 bucks. Can't beat that.
Every bite was eaten, it was very tasty. If you're here on vacation, you probably have a better Chinese spot from wherever you're from, but for Williamsburg, it seems this is the best and it's deserving of that title. I look forward to returning to try additional dishes.
Don’t confuse it with a different Top’s China on a different road that has poor reviews! This one is across from Harris Teeter“
