“Despite being a smaller restaurant, the atmosphere was very calm and welcoming. The owner/manager was very courteous and helpful, as he made excellent suggestions for my meal. The service was quick and efficient. The calamari was perfectly fried, crispy and delicious, and the pho was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone craving Vietnamese cuisine.“

“I would have given this a 5 but the shrimp rolls and the sauce I did not like and needed some flavor on the shrimp. THE PHO I got the brisket and steak and the broth was amazing. The broth was sooo flavorful and I got a small so it was perfect to fulfill my appetite. I will definitely be coming back. I will try another appetizer but get more pho. Yum, yum, and yum.“

“I stumbled across this pho spot while visiting The Tasty Crab, and I’m so glad I did! I love pho soup, and after checking out the menu, I was happy to see the prices were comparable to my favorite spot back in New Jersey.

I came back the next day for a late lunch/early dinner, and it did not disappoint. The deep-fried spring rolls and summer rolls were absolutely delicious — fresh, crispy, and full of flavor.

I ordered the B13, which includes slices of well-done brisket, well-done flank, fat brisket, soft tendon, and bible tripe. It was a bit more variety than I’m used to, but it all worked together really well. My daughter and I shared a bowl and still had leftovers to take home — very generous portions!

The only downside was the $0.50 charge for an extra take-out bowl. It’s not a huge deal, but I feel like that should either be included in the price or they could use smaller, more cost-efficient containers.

Other than that, I absolutely loved the pho. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be back — and I highly recommend it!“

“This was my first time coming to this restaurant and boy it did not disappoint. I can’t remember the name of the sushi I had but it was soooo good. The sushi I had was not on the menu but on the wall of favorites. My friend got some spicy ramen and that was equally delish. I will be going back!!!“

“Best pho I’ve ever had! I take my friends here to show them and they all love it. I usually do takeout but I dined in today, the food came out very fast. I usually prefer a more spaced out seating arrangement but that’s my own personal opinion and it isn’t even possible because the place is small. It doesn’t take away from the beauty of this restaurant. 10/10 would recommend!“

“We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Bourbon & Fig! Luis provided the best, most outstanding service! The croquets were a wonderful appetizer! Two of us had the filet mignon and both were cooked perfectly with delicious mashed potatoes and asparagus! Yum! Our friend had the pork chop and it was buttery tender and delicious! We shared three desserts - chocolate mousse, cheesecake and olive oil lemon cake, all of which were divine! If you want a fine dining experience with delicious food and top notch service, this is the place! It’s a gorgeous restaurant, beautifully decorated! Oh and the drinks were great, too!“

The consistent quality and attention to detail is what makes this place great. The staff is very courteous, and our food has consistently been excellent. Given that there are limited food options on Fort Belvoir, it’s understandable that this location can get busy during peak lunchtime hours, especially since it’s a new and popular spot. Order well in advance and utilize walk-in instead of the drive through if you suspect it will be busy. We also had our office lunch catered from here, and everything was prepared on time and to a high standard. Many thanks to the entire staff!“

“I’ve been coming to Panera Bread for years and regularly ordering the French onion soup and sometimes the Broccoli Cheddar for my son, not knowing that they both contain beef/Chicken broth—which, as a Muslim, I am not supposed to consume since it’s not considered halal. Today, while ordering it for myself and my son, Mr. Drake Gold kindly informed me about this and asked if it was okay. I truly appreciated the thoughtfulness and care shown. It’s rare to encounter such attentiveness and respect for customers’ dietary needs. My soup was replaced with a vegetarian one which I truly appreciated. A big thank you to this wonderful guy for going the extra mile—it really means a lot to me and to my family!
I really hope that Panera Bread will consider offering halal options in the near future.
