“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Exquisite Culinary Experience
Rogue Rabbit in Burlington is nothing short of exquisite. I rate places by their category, and this one earns my highest marks in the three most important categories: food, drinks, and overall experience.
The pizza was a masterpiece. Thick, insanely fresh dough was complemented by a decadently sweet-savory tomato sauce and topped with a perfect combination of savory sausage, sweet onion, and ricotta. Simply scrumptious.
The drink menu is tight but brilliantly creative. I started with the Good Catastrophe (Brandy, Italicus, Lemon, Turbines, Orange Bitters)—exquisite. I followed it with the mind-blowing Via Con Dio (Rye, Ramazotti, Honey, Strawberry and espresso).
Topping all this off was the wait staff and Mary, a wizard/artist at drink mixing. The staff and the patrons made this, along with the food and drink, one of the best holistic dining experiences I've had in years.

“This place REALLY threw me for a loop… walking there I was expecting a quickie bite.. not an amazing dinner meal that even my picky husband enjoyed!
The vibe definitely did not match the level of culinary skills in the food. We got chive pancakes, they were chewy crispy and savory - perfect appetizer!
Two Asahi’s to complement our entrees:
crying tiger fried rice, the sirloin was marinated to PERFECTION! Best I’ve EVER had.
Duck Penang was an entire duck leg in a creamy delicious curry sauce with pineapples and tomatoes. So mouthwatering thinking about it now..
Staff was soooo young but SUPER hospitable and lovely! Luckily we’re not locals otherwise it’d be a weekly meal here for us!“

“Creative menu with well designed and seasoned dishes! Loved everything we got, about 90% of the menu was vegan the day we went. All desserts were vegan as well and included their soft serve ice cream— must try if you have the chance. Wine selection was good, cocktails were tried were so-so.“

“Always a fantastic experience here. The service is consistently excellent, and it’s one of those rare places you can truly count on—whether you’re planning a date night or taking family and friends out when they’re visiting.
The pizza is great every time, and the salads are genuinely excellent (not an afterthought). The standout for me, though, is the house-made mozzarella—it’s absolutely to die for. Highly recommend.“

“Great meal, service and love being back in that building. Ryan was a great server! We started with NA drinks of Not a Negroni and Damsel in distress, added sourdough bread and a chicory salad to lead us into the chicken and green beans and a plate of homemade squash raviolis. Everything finished off with the olive cake with strawberries. This place was as advertised!“

“Chef Herve is so personable and makes an amazing culinary experience. The ambience in his restaurant is calming and condusive to trying his French menu. “We have been coming here since 1986 when it was a tiny spot that let us teenagers sit and drink coffee all day. They are one of Burlington’s oldest and most loved restaurants, known for their early bird Bistro dinner that serves French classics like Beef Bourgignon, Steak Frites and even gluten free Cavatappi Carbonara. Tonight it was snowing hard and the restaurant was still full and the service was terrific. It’s our go-to place for the last 35 years and I’m grateful they are still around.“

“Leunig's is always a perfect restaurant with many vegetarian options (for me) which is rare AND they are creative, not the old "veggie lasagna". My favorite is the Cavatappi. My husband tried the pulled pork sandwich with cheese and red cabbage and his face lit up with his first taste. Service is always the perfect combination of friendly, knowledgeable but never hovering.“

I ended up leaving with a great selection of Mad River products. If you're a bourbon or rum enthusiast visiting the Burlington area, this spot is a must-visit!“
