“Every time I've been, the menu has been almost entirely different and I've ordered a wide sampling from the menu. I've test to have a single bite of food that wasn't thoughtful, intentional, perfectly prepared, and delicious. The bar program is also fantastic, as is the service. I cannot recommend this spot highly enough!”

“This is a beautiful spot by the winooski river, we ate on the outside porch with a view of the river, even saw a mother Robin feeding its young in a nest in the rafters. I had linguine pescatore which was delicious, my partner had scampi e cape sante also delicious but unfortunately both meals were light on the scallops hers had 1, also I have to wonder why some sort of bread wouldn’t be served with these dishes. I did mention to staff after and they offered to compensate which I turned down but was made sure I would be treated next time we’re in the area The staff here are great and service was quick, definitely a place to go”

“I don't think it gets better than home made Italian food with deep family roots. I swear, you can taste the passion in the pasta! In our family, we have a saying that "food is love." In that light, Campo Di Vino is more than their delicious and artfully prepared food. They offer a sense of community with each item on the menu. Absolutely amazing food — one of the best meals I’ve had!

I stopped by Star Kitchen Indian Nepali Restaurant in Barre, and everything was excellent. I ordered the lamb curry, and it was honestly one of the best lamb curries I’ve ever had. The lamb was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the curry was rich and full of delicious spices. The portion was generous and came with free rice, so you definitely get a satisfying meal for your money.

For around $10-20 per person, you can enjoy a really good, filling meal with great quality and portions. There are plenty of flavorful curry dishes and other options to choose from.

The service was excellent, the atmosphere was quiet, clean, and welcoming, and the owner was extremely friendly and respectful. He communicates with customers very well and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.

“literally the best restaurant and bar in Montpelier actually is in Middlesex about 3 miles up interstate 89- between the music, the service, and the food are all indescribablly good in light of what you might expect from a local tavern or restaurant – the food is excellent prepared and very thoughtful in it preparation; i’ve been there three or four times, and I continue to walk away, thinking it’s the best Cape secret in Central, Vermont”

“Don’t sleep on Indian-Nepali Kitchen— best Indian food in Vermont! The dishes are packed with so much flavor, the portions are generous, and the owners are super friendly! We jump at the opportunity to stop in and try something new every time we are in Montpelier. On one of our visits, my partner wanted a beer, and the owner let him try an imported Indian ale from his own stock. So good! Grab take out, or even better drop in and get the full experience!!”

“Penzo makes the perfect pizza. The dough is baked just right and there are enough tasty menu options that we can have a different meal each time we go. They are super friendly and just want to make the world a better place through good food. I'd also add that their prices are below the curve. We miss you in Montpelier!!!”

“I'm a Vermonter living down in Georgia. I often find myself missing the simpler things from home. Red Door Bakery products are one of those things that just feel like home.

I ordered a box of treats shipped to GA & they did not disappoint. They arrived quickly and well packaged. Everything was individually wrapped and intact, no crumbs.

The only thing I fear is that I forgot how full the bars are, so some are going to go into the freezer to last me awhile!
