“10 older guys were on an August golf trip to Stratton Mt golf course, staying at the Black Bear Lodge. For dinner the choice was Mulligan's at mid-week.
First impressions were great, greeted and seated immediately. The wait staff was cheerful and efficient, drinks after golf were welcome and served quickly.
Our food orders also filled the bill. Large portions and of good quality. (The only negative about the food was the stuffing in the baked stuffed lobster being a little bland. However, the price at $39.99 for two baked stuffed more than made up for it.) The other meals were rated highly and included steaks, ribs and chicken.
We will be back next summer, and Mulligans will be our meal choice. Also check out the attractive bar, overall.
The group has been making this trip for over 30 years and Mulligan's helped make this years a top ten trip.“

“Ate and Drank here after motorcycling for 10 hours with no solid food. The Steak Frites was phenomenal, perfectly cooked, perfect cut of meat, perfectly seasoned fries to accompany it. The bartender Jamie made an excellent and magical Rye Old Fashioned using Whistle Pig Rye. I’m a big guy who loves alcohol I don’t use the word magical often but this Old Fashioned was indeed magical. If you want an Old Fashioned and in the area come here ask for the bartender Jamie to make you one, you will be very impressed.“

“I’ll keep this short and sweet. This was the best waffle I’ve ever had. They ran out of waffles 2 people before me in line, which led to a short wait for a FRESH batch. Worth every second of waiting, even if that meant delaying another ski run.It appeared to be dough, not batter, which was bizarre. But when you’re handed the greatest waffle you’ve ever come across, drizzled with chocolate sauce, all for the measly price of $8, you don’t question the method. You show gratitude for the moment, eat your waffle, savor every bite, and go on with your day, knowing that your life is now significantly better.“

“We had dinner at the last chair with one person in our party having celiacs disease. Our waiter Hunter was amazing !! He took the time to really understands the precautions necessary to keep the food allergen free. The restaurant also had a lot of gluten free options. The waiter was so kind and helped us make special exceptions in the kitchen so the food was completely celiacs safe. Hunter was awesome! He demonstrated an incredible amount of high level customer service, and a level of emotional intelligence that helped us feel really safe. Thanks Hunter!!“
“This place has it all! We were lucky enough to stumble upon this beautiful property while booking a last minute stay for the end of ski season. What can I say, we experienced New England hospitality at its finest. From the most charming and well appointed guest room (complete with wood burning fireplace), to the amazing restaurant, and outstanding staff, I have to give it a 12 out of 10! Can’t wait to return!!“

“I am so grateful that we could order to-go food the night we first arrived to West Dover and all the restaurants were closed at 9.30 pm but Harriman’s let us to order! In the meantime we got a cider at the bar which was delicious. The food was amazing and the kindness and humour of the server was unforgettable! Definitely a must in West Dover!“

“Each year I bring over 100 skiers and riders from the Ski Bears to Mount Snow in December. Saturday night 80s/90s party at The Snow Barn with The Mike Cusato Band is part of our tradition. We love it there!“

“I can't say enough great things about the West Dover Inn and its owner, Phil. We booked a last-minute ski weekend and were delighted by our experience. This is definitely a place we’ll return to.
The hospitality was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. Even if we weren’t staying at the inn, we would still visit the restaurant for a fantastic meal.“

“We wanted to grab some bites and a Cocktial after skiing. This place is what you'd expect. Typical pub menu, but done well. The pork nachos had a great BBQ sauce on it, and the aoli sauce really hit the spot. My burger however left a lot to be desired. The staff is friendly, and helpful, it just happened to be very busy when we came (on a Monday?!?) maybe they weren't ready for it.The atmosphere is very social, great music in the background, as you watch the last few skiers and riders finish the day.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's an elevator to access the top floor.“

“Pizza sized pancak that warm my heart on a cold spring morning. Food was fire. However, the soundtrack to our breakfast was nothing but abrasive to the vibes. Stick to one genre, read the room at 8am. Maybe hair metal blasting over the speakers isn’t the move.“
