“One of the best meals we had while visiting VT was at the Reservoir. OMG!! The poutine appetizer was absolutely unbelievable. It was cheesy and bacony goodness. We wanted to lick the plate at the end. My smash burger was one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. Loved it so much! It was so juicy and delicious. The salad was a good side dish. My husband opted for a plain chicken sandwich instead of the hot chicken. Hot chicken would have had more flavor. My cousin loved his cheesesteak. He said it was one of the best cheesesteaks that he’s ever had. It was super juicy and delectable. My other cousin loved her mahi mahi sandwich. She wanted something different and loved it. Our waiter was very attentive, very personable and gave great food recommendations. He deserves a raise. The Reservoir is a must visit when in Waterbury. Everyone loved the food and the service. Wish it was closer. I’d be there all the time. We’ll be dreaming about it until our next trip.“

The food was incredible came out pretty quick and our sever Kelsey was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed she also made us laugh quite a bit it definitely was an unforgettable dinner.… they are very lucky to have her there she doesn’t waste any time waiting on her guest will definitely return when we are in town next and we hope to see her again as well“

“Also my second time here. The flights of cider are always a good way to wash down your food, very light and tasted great. This time I had a grilled cheese with ham and tomato. This may sound simple but it was incredibly flavorful and I could have easily split it as it was a big sandwich. The cheese was very creamy. My friends also had the burger and Mac and cheese. Everything was fresh, delicious and homemade. The prices are more than fair especially for the quality. The service was more than friendly and obliging. Love the atmosphere. Very comfortable and the view is outstanding. Beautiful mountains!“

“We stopped in for dinner during our trip to Stowe. The food was really good. Our waitress forgot our fries and the kitchen had closed, so that was a bummer. She did compensate us though and that was nice. Overall, it’s worth the wait if you can’t get a reservation.“

“Amazing place really. I wasn’t expecting a ski mountain to have such an amazing restaurant! The James Moore tavern is fantastic. I ordered the Smashburger with fries and some unique morsels known as duck rangoons. The burger had a crispy patty that was seasoned perfectly, as well as onion jam, a brioche bun, and garlic aioli. The fries were crisp and flavorful and the duck rangoons were fantastically unique and delicious. Sadly they were out of their butter cake but the peanut butter pie was delicious. Probably the best ski food I’ve ever tried!“
