“Just had lunch here even though neither my husband or I drink beer. It's a holiday weekend and we didn't want to deal with the crowds. Boy, will we be returning. Pub menu is limited, but everything sounded good. We each got something different and split it. Both were delicious. Also, the Staff is super friendly! As for the beer, there were several people partaking and the City Brew Tours van was there so I'm thinking that must be good also.“

Sat outside on a perfect fall day. Staff were friendly and professional and attentive without being too much.

Wife and I both got salad and mini-flatbreads. Combined with a beer and you have a perfect lunch.

The salads were delicious and perfectly dressed. The flatbreads were delicious, with a wonderful crust and a variety of creative toppings.

The beers were amazing as well. When we return to Burlington, we will come back here for sure.“

“WOW what a shock! I came home to Vermont tonight after 24 years being away and decided to grab a bottle to celebrate with some friends. I first grabbed a bottle of an “old faithful” brand to remain nameless out of respect, and then I thought it would be fun to grab a bottle of a Vermont distilled bourbon and have a blind tasting to see how Mad River stacked up to a known brand that is nationally available and probably in every “bourbon guy’s” collection. Thinking I had an unfair advantage because I am a self described “bourbon guy” I just knew my palette would let me choose my “old faithful” bottle as my favorite of the two. Then wouldn’t you know it I chose Mad River Straight as my favorite of the two. But not only did I choose it everyone else chose it as well. This is a great bottle of bourbon it hits the palette smooth with a subtle slow heat, followed by gentle notes of smoke, cherry, light hints of maple and a amazing vanilla caramel finish. Being from now from Florida I like light ice in my bourbon to beat the mind bending heat so after the blind tasting I went full Florida threw in some ice and it got even better. I will be the first to admit this is a rare thing most great bourbons don’t stand up well to “Florida Man” drinking but yours does. Congratulations on a great bottle of bourbon, it made for a great welcoming home!“

“I pride myself on being a well traveled brewery connoisseur. This place is amazing. The beer and staff recommendations were on point. The wings are delectable. The staff will LITERALLY give you the shirt off their back. My wife wanted a shirt that was out of stock and AJ took off the one he was wearing and gave it to her. 11/10 would recommend. Travel to Burlington for this place alone.“

Line was literally spilling into the street for over an hour on Sunday. Service was FAST, friendly, and was absolutely cruising. The locals know it, and now so do you.

“My husband and I hosted our welcome party for our wedding weekend with Queen City. We held the party in their awesome event space. Jason and his team were absolutely great to work with. Not only was the beer a ten (a given with these folks), our bartender for the evening was friendly, knowledgable, and kept the drinks flowing to our group of 50.The space itself is also awesome - plenty of room for a group, fun games and decor, and even a retractable garage style door to let in fresh air, which we were actually able to make use of as it was unseasonably warm the night of our late October party. They were also kind enough to let us use their audio and mic system, which came in handy for background music and a few short toasts.If you are looking for a variety of easy drinking to packs a bunch beers, friendly & kind folks, and an awesome place to host or just stop in for a brew, Queen City has it all covered.
