“It is always a challenge for me to eat Asian food of any type, as I cannot eat any soy sauce. We went to this restaurant on Wednesday evening and back again on Friday for lunch. To say they worked with us on my allergy would be an understatement. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had amazing food and a wonderful experience! Tye (sp) took care of us on the first visit. You would be hard pressed to find a better server. Each recommendation given turned out to be wonderful. I just cannot say enough good things about this place. Please go check them out! You will not be disappointed.“

“Was really great food. Tonkotsu ramen was worth every sip. The pork bun isn't the traditional, but the contemporary design does make it easier to have more meat and additions. With the sauces, you can customize it to your desire.

If I'm in the mood, this would be a good place to go again.

“Area is for the most part a restaurant desert. Parking lot is small. If you don't live nearby, please leave room for nearby residents by parking at Husky Stadium.“

“They’ve got something for everyone. The ajitama and pork chashu are done very well here. The takoyaki was good too. The broth is less flavorful than other places I have been, but much more milky. Personally, I am not a huge fan of the broth, so -1 star.

The restaurant is cash only and you can only order through kiosk. You cannot substitute any toppings, which sucks. You can only ask for a “no topping” and then pay additional for the topping you want. Small store means you will have to wait for a table during busy hours.

Personally, I wouldn’t return because I don’t think I will crave this specific ramen again. I would rather drive 20 more minutes to eat at Kizuki’s.“

“My grandsons say this is the best food they have ever eaten in their whole life. The fried chicken was perfectly crisp yet perfectly moist; the short ribs were exquisite; the pot stickers and sushi were great. We loved our flavors, food, and experience and will always come back. One grandson says he would take a plane from anywhere in the world just to come back here.“

Coming to the Food - we were there for some Ramen - It took nearly 45 mins to get 2 ramen and 1 chicken Karage..There is only 1 person cooking everything and hence takes forever..In the meantime we also tried some cocktails with sake in them and loved them.The bartender lady is so sweet and friendly.
Overall the Ramen was good a little watery for our taste.Karage was decent too.“

My best friend started choking and one of the employees came and gave her the Heimlich maneuver. Thank you for helping her! I tried to tip the employee and he refused. Really thank you. “Having had Genki in Hawaii, it was so nice to discover that we had one after moving here several years ago. The flavors are amazing and consistent, the place is always clean/hygienic, and the staff always attentive and friendly. Kid friendly options are also on the menu which is a plus. Highly recommend.“
