“AMAZING food,Service and atmosphere!
The waiters were SO attentive(checking on us and making sure we are still good or needed anything) and friendly which we loved! Greeted us as soon as we enter, smiles the whole time which made us feel welcomed. The food was made fast yet fresh w great portion sizes! The prices are also pocket friendly. A great place to just have a casual breakfast or lunch, we'll definitely be coming back. I also asked abt the thia food, they have specials which I took a photo of. Can't wait to be back. “Best German Restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. I served in the Army for 26 years and was stationed in Germany for a total of 5 years. I’ve gone to Leave worth a number of times and eaten there too. We are lucky to have this incredible restaurant in Lacey.“

“This is by far the best BBQ in Western WA. Everything is good. Portion sizes are great and prices are reasonable. We drive an hour just to get great BBQ. We have met people who drove 3 hours to just eat the excellent BBQ. They also have vegetarian options.“

I dont know much about Italian food but the staff was helpful and was very honest when they needed to ask the kitchen.

The kitchen seemed very helpful to help and was okay with making sure that we were happy.

“I moved to Olympia in 2022 and began looking for good restaurants. After going to 4 Japanese I hit on Kamakura and have been returning there at least 1X/week. Great rolls, rice is perfectly executed, the Drunken Noodles with shrimp are AMAZING(every time). The staff is so kind and accommodating (makes me feel relaxed) The only thing I feel want for is more seaweed in the miso soup. This restaurant reflects everything with a touch of Japanese family tradition. The prices are fairly set and reflect the quality of food. So this is “my go to” Japanese place in Olympia“

“Wow, we drove by this area for gas on our way from Vancouver to Olympics park, and just picked this place for dinner. I did not have high expectations, but this turns out to be one of the best sushi I have ever had in my life! My boyfriend made fun of me for going to a Japanese restaurant while traveling as we live in Vancouver (it’s known that local food in Vancouver is Japanese food), but this place amazed both of us!! “Been coming here for over ten years. My wife and I have spent quite a few Friday nights in here for a few hours each time enjoying sake and sashimi. Great wait staff, one of them the owner with her husband who is the sushi chef. Only place I have been coming for ten years plus and the two main waitresses have been the same, always friendly! Also been here with our son in tow as well and he enjoyed the spicy chicken teriyaki. Our families favorite sushi place in the Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater area. Highly recommend.

“I go to this place regularly, at least once a week. Always a clean and calm atmosphere, my soup is always hot and delicious and my spring rolls are always fresh and delicious. I was an air head one day and left my purse behind with a large sum of money in it, I showed up and not a single peny was touched. If I could give more then five stars I would the waiters are always very inviting and check on you regularly to make sure you don't need anything.“

“The roasted asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and drizzled with balsamic vinegar was quite tasty. I wasn't planning to order pizza, but had to try the fig almond pesto prosciutto arugula pie, and it was delicious, with the sweetness of the figs nicely complimenting the savory of the prosciutto and cheese. That was a new experience for me. Service was good. There was some really great bouncy jazz fusion music playing that was new to me as well, had me grooving around in my chair. There are many interesting items on the menu here, will have to return to try them. Highly recommended!“

“my husband and I will go there about few times a year. this was my father in laws favorite place to eat every Wednesday with his brother for many yrs. Yesterday(July 21st) we ate there at approximately 7pm. very nice waiter we had. my husband ordered a Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. he indicated that that meat was very tough and rubbery. I tasted it and totally agreed with him. but that won't stop us from going there again. we did show up on July 16th(Sunday). had no idea you closed up so early(it was about 6pm)“

“The employees here are very kind. I was greeted immediately as I entered and I placed an online order. The food was delicious and very fresh. I forgot that I ordered sushi along with my three teriyaki plates but they gave me a call to remind me of it. Roommate likes the bigger menu and food but #3 is alot more relaxing. the remodel is nice but it seems to have cut least a 1/3 of seating guess you needed the added kitchen space 👍. “This spot has killer gyros, you have to eat some of the meat off top before you can bite into one of the bad boys. The fries are so good you don't even have to add salt and the calamari is so good ill even eat the bed of lettuce they rest on. 10/10“

“I have ordered the chicken street tacos. Their corn tortillas are SO GOOD and so fresh. They put a spicy sauce on the street tacos so be aware. I love it but it is spicy. I have also ordered their beef burrito and it's HUGE. You easily get 2 meals. They have chips and drinks too. Fast and yummy. Decent amount of parking.“

“Delicious food and great service! I walked in on a Friday evening and my order was immediately taken. I ordered the Volcano Roll to go and was told it would be a 15 min wait. Less than 10 mins later, I had my food! Great sushi, and the salmon tasted fresh and nicely baked. I would go here again!!“
