“Excellent, fresh, delicious food! From the Nigiri to the Sashimi, Sushi, Poke Bowl and Donburi.
The service is excellent every time (This is my third time here).
The atmosphere is warm, and relaxing with soft, quiet music playing in the background.

“My husband and I just moved to Vancouver and went to Sakanaya Sushi for our anniversary dinner. All of the food was super fresh, presented exquisitely, and our server was lovely. Very friendly, casual atmosphere. The prices were very good as well. We will definitely be returning!“

“New sushi restaurant with conveyor belt in Salmon Creek area (next door to The Barbers). Good quality, fresh sashimi. We tried several rolls and sashimi and enjoyed everything. We will def be back again.“

“My son and I used to come here a lot in years passed and thought the food was great but now, I guess they're under new mgmt.? Not sure. Anyway, we hadn't been there for a few years until recently and the food is better! and there's more on the menu! My fiancé was pleased with the food also! I'm a Local Guide from Oregon also, and it's been a while since I've posted anything. The service was excellent, very quick, professional and friendly! The only category that I gave as a three is the ambience. It would be better if Japanese music was played on the intercom as it then would it more authentic. Well be coming back often!!!“

“The food is wonderful and they have options for those who don't like sushi. We take our kids there and always have a great time. It is quiet and the prices are great! We fed 6 people for less than $120 today. We then turned around and put in an online order for a few of our other kids and they had everything done and ready in less than 20min or so.

“I like to come here with my dad and sushi is good quality and I just love be their spicy tuna hand rolls, however, I was really disappointed to see that the conveyor is no longer a thing. Don’t get me wrong, sushi is still great, but it’s still a shame that the conveyor isn’t a thing anymore.“

“This place was a pleasant surprise. I’d been to other sushi places nearby and even poor experiences- kept going back to them. This is now my go to place. The service is way ABOVE the other place nearby. Very friendly and attentive. Easy to see what you want as it passes by. Great HH. We liked it so much that we came by twice in one week for late lunch (we normally don’t do lunch). Anyway- passed by so many times and judged it because it’s kind of in a strip mall type setup. Do not let that fool you. Just a great experience with really friendly and authentic folks running & working there.“
