“This used to be Easy Street tavern. We went to see the music group. The stage was so small you could barely get in the front door without being part of the band. The crowd really liked the opening group Abbie & her band mates who play a mix of country songs. There is one pool table in the very back.“

“We were looking for a French dip for dinner. So we Googled French dip and this place popped up.

I'm going to start off that when we arrived it was packed the only place to sit was out on the patio with heat. So that was nice. Ordering your drinks and food was kinda confusing at 1st. But once they explained it it was simple. You order and they open a tab which makes it nice I think so u don't have to keep ordering and paying for drinks every time u order.

So now onto the the service. And again this place was packed to the brim. The service was spot on. The staff are very friendly and helpful. And not to mention fast.

The food. So yes we tried the French dip. With a salad. Yes it was amazing. And then it came to us in under 10 min. So it was fast for how packed this place was.

Did I forget to say this place was packed lol.

They had live music there that was nice. But we saw people standing for a table so we ate and left so that others could enjoy what we did. Great food drinks and entertainment.

It’s a great neighborhood pub with everything you’d want—GREAT staff (Bekkah, Ellie, and Joe are big reasons why we keep coming back), fun trivia nights, karaoke, and special events about once per month. Wide variety of rotating taps, liquor, wine, hard seltzers, and clever Jell-O shot creations. Brunch on weekends and tasty apps/ lunch/ dinner fare with a kitchen that’s open late. “The holy grail of pubs is the spot where friendly strangers chat at an L-shaped bar, with high quality complex cocktails and delicious food. Here it is!! We stumbled on this place while househunting, and being here made us yearn for this neighborhood.
Must have: garlic puffs.

Editing to add more. Now we have been here lots! Ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Chicken was a little over-fried (dark). Pickles and caramelized onions and dressing made it juicy and tangy. It’s also massive, so way more than one person could eat.“

“Coo lil local bar to grab drinks at. I have a great time every time. However most of the times I have been it seemed really busy but the staff was always friendly and as attentive as possible. Food is pretty decent and the DJ is always on point. They also have karaoke from time to time“

“this is the best bar in Seattle and has been for a very long time. it does one thing (sour/lambic/belgian ales), perfectly. the owner is so thoughtful and kind, and every time i go here i find myself appreciating a place that offers something so different than any other bar in town. this is not the place to bring a rowdy group, and I'm baffled by the suggestion in another review that they should add TVs - that is an insane thought, a complete misread of what the Stumbling Monk offers. it is perfect as is!“

“Any place with almost nothing but ciders and sours is A in my book! Not a big beer guy at all but cider and sour yes! They have these in spades here. Cool spot as well! Open and inviting, casual seats and ample space. 4 and 6 pick flight options. Go during happy hour for 6 picks at $17. I enjoyed every cider I got and the 2 sours as well. I'd get them all again. “To be honest I haven't ever been in that building since it was The Sunset Pub. Yet I have been in there when it first opened up as a game room back in 1980- 1981 named Galaxy II. Frequented it everyday when it was Sunset Pub, I'm sure it can hold its own as the Pickled Onion. As long as they have pickled beans to go into their Bloody Mary's.“

“As the home of Liverpool supporters club in Seattle, this location has always been a great community with phenomenal support.

Outside of always playing the Liverpool matches, they are also open to playing any sport or league I am interested in (only spot I've found to play Liga MX!) and I always look forward to talking with the staff here. They are so friendly and foster a really wonderful community here. This is hands down my favorite sports bar around.

On the food front, I'm super picky about fries, but this place has amazing fries with great sauces to choose from. Also they have malort, which everyone should drink more of.“

“Really lovely atmosphere in the lower level of the lodge at Saint Edwards Park, once a seminary and once the barbershop. Comfy chairs to sit in if they’re available. Great Mixology for the cocktails, friendly and attentive service! Ryan was wonderful.“

“We had our favorite dishes: (breaded) fish tacos and fish 'n chips. Both were very well prepared and tasty. Breading could be thicker - it's too light to soak up much melted vinegar. Chopped mango sprinkled on the tacos add a nice flavor twist.

“The rooms are very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The lobby, the library and reading area are very nice and well appointed. The staff are professional and very attentive. The windows open to let fresh sea air into the room. The whole club feels like you are indeed staying in a private, safe club.
