“JUXT is such a great spot in downtown. Always hosting fun events, conveniently located, phenomenal service, and their food/drinks are amazing. They've got a great list of craft cocktails and a delicious food menu, too. I especially love getting to enjoy a cocktail flight (either with a friend or solo) while hanging out before a show downtown. Menu Faves: House Fries, Poutine, Loaded Nachos, Falafel, JUXT Mac Cocktail Faves: Love Letter, Time Forgot, Eiffel 75, Bees Markel“

“This is my favorite restaurant and bar in Bellingham. The food is delicious and so are the drinks. My favorites are the wings and the chili pork wontons. The upside or downside, depending on the day, is the lack of reservations. It is worth a wait.“

“Our Pug Rescue- Evergreen Pug Rescue recently held an event here and it was a 10/10 experience. Loved the selection of beer and cider to choose from. The staff was extremely friendly and Shannon who called out the bingo numbers was hilarious. Loved that our pug Gloria got to run around and meet all the other dogs and people.“

“This place does pizza so differently from other spots in town and it's AWESOME! Love that you can either get a whole pie or individual slices and love how fun the different menu items are. I never would have thought to put HUMMUS of all things on a pizza, but their hummus + goat cheese pizza is easily one of my top 10 things to eat here in town. Also, they have a baller cocktail menu and the crew there is always so welcoming and fun to visit with. 10/10!“

“First time coming here and the experience is awesome. Great selection of taps and unique discount of D20 die cocktail shot menu they have. Spent all day playing the original halo and halo 2. Would definitely recommend for video game nerds to come looking for a pint and a place to hang out at.“
“Sweet intimate stylish venue/bar with surprisingly good sandwiches and friendly staff.“

“This is seriously a great space for a company outing, date night, or afternoon/evening activity with friends! They have 14 different pinball machines (all maintained by the Bellingham Pinball Collective) with various movie and video game themes, and are such a blast to play! Plus, they've got great food and drinks to enjoy either standalone, or while you're pin-balling upstairs. We had a blast here and 1,000% recommend it to everyone else in town.“

“Black Sheep has easily become an iconic "Bellingham" restaurant with how much of a staple they are to so many. Love that it's 21+ and that they not only have a mega-awesome (and delish) cocktail menu, but additionally has food that's so good people constantly talk about it. Additionally fun to enjoy their breakfast menu when you swing by earlier in the day, and constantly just enjoy the atmosphere and service by staff. Faves Off the Menu: - Tacos: Carne Asada, Carnitas, Fried Chicken, Baja Fish, Pork Belly, Mushroom + Kale - Snacks: Chips + Guac, Queso Fundido, Salsa Trio, Queso Nachos - Breakfast: Potato & Black Bean Taco, Breakfast Burrito - Drinks: House Grapefruit/Raspberry-Lime/Blueberry-Lemon Soda (non-alcoholic), Dude-A-Rite (any flavor), House Paloma If you haven't yet checked out Black Sheep, consider it next on your list!“

“This is my favorite bar in Bellingham! The servers like Mikayla and the owner Jessie always make me feel so comfortable and welcome while figuring out what to drink. They have a wonderful selection of beers and ciders as well as non-alcoholic drink options. We've been coming here weekly for almost a year now and love it! Don't miss their oyster pop-ups with Drayton Harbor - they're soooooo tasty!! And definitely check out their other special events like their Silent Book Club - such a fun event for introverts!“

“One of my favorite places to go in downtown Bellingham. A great space inside and out with frequent music and events. I attended the Arts & Ales Holiday Market and enjoyed a pint as well as a cup of mulled wine while I shopped the market. Also fueled up with one of their famous bowls, the Banh Mi bowl.“
“Love everything about the vibe here and highly recommend! Dakota is a master mixologist who can match a cocktail to a mood like a genius. Cozy cool kind and welcoming ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜“

“Up for a visit and we stayed at The Leo Hotel. Enjoyed both a late night bite and drinks with family at Amendment 21. And next day Jazz brunch to celebrate birthdays in our group. The food and drinks were amazing. Lite jazz playing in the background made for a totally wonderful time and we will be back.“

“What initially drew me in was the atmosphere—that is, they keep the lights very dim here, exactly how I like it.
It should go without saying the nachos are the best I’ve ever eaten, anywhere—I strongly suggest the carne asada street nachos.
The music list is really awesome, especially if you enjoy 90s/00s era indy and industrial rock.
Should also say, there’s a pretty good karaoke each Friday, starting at 8pm.
(There's been a few mishaps with the queso sauce, I admit, but don’t let that be a dealbreaker—ie I’ve gotten it where it was boiled down to rubber on one occasion. The owner was extremely understanding and massively generous—ended up giving me some carne asada nachos as a “reparation”. A few other people were upset about this in the other reviews, but they fixed it)“

“State Street Bar, what's their to say? It's an iconic Bellingham mainstay. Go to school in Bham? You ended up at State Street at some point. Drop out of school in Bham? You've gone to State Street. State is there even on the holidays you're probably supposed to be with your in-laws, but don't want to because Uncle Al is still touchy about that time you mentioned you accidentally held hands with a boy (wow that conversation should have died at Thanksgiving 2017 but here we are)It's a very cozy bar with a classic aesthetic with a solid mix of college knuckleheads, wise old sailors and honestly three of the coolest bartenders in town. Lisa, Kamiah, and Emily hold it the EF down with the drinks and fried foods, and excellent conversation.I was just a lonely alcoholic pool junkie (free pool on Sundays) before I found State, and now, I'm still all of those things but it's cheaper here than like Bellingham Bar Grill.A perfect blend of college kids, seasoned drinking vets, and the occasional transient all competing for the ski ball hi-score. When you walk in, 2022 feels like 2012, and the memories feel like 1999.“

“D'Annas is AMAZING! Incredible Italian with a menu full of classic dishes that are sure to please everyone. Everything tastes like that perfect "made-from-scratch" taste that you love in Italian cooking and their pasta is DELISH! Plus, their desserts are SO GOOD and make for a great ending to your meal. A definite stop to make next time you're downtown. Menu Faves: Bruschetta, Puttanesca, Spaghetti Marinara, Chicken Parmesan, Gnocchi, Tiramisu, Cappuccino Cream Chocolate Mousse“

“I really loved this venue when I saw Lords of Acid there recently. The sound system is incredible, great well stocked bar, all the employees are friendly and helpful.
Yeah they don't have food, but 50 feet away is an awesome pizza place and you can literally doordash anything you want if you get the munchies. Just down the street multiple food places open till 2am.
Love the easygoing reentry policy. I can't wait to come back here again in Sep.“

“This is a great spot in downtown Bellingham to enjoy a craft cocktail in an upscale yet not pretentious environment. I have to say their cocktails are absolutely out of this world. And perhaps this should be the sole focus. The food fell short. The gnocchi Mac and cheese was soooo heavy with a very Valveeta/artificial cheese taste - and overly salty. The braised beef sliders were mostly bread with a little meat inside. For the price of the food I wouldn’t order again. Stick to the drinks and you will not be disappointed. Oh and the staff IS wonderful.“

“The Temple Bar has such a unique charm that truly sets it apart from other spots in Bellingham. What really makes this place special is the staff—they bring an atmosphere and pizzazz that you just don’t find elsewhere. You allow them to be themselves, and that freedom shines through in their energy, making the whole experience feel genuine and memorable.
One suggestion that could make it even better: consider letting the staff create a “menu item of the week.” Giving them the opportunity to contribute a special dish would not only add some fun variation, but it would also showcase their creativity and individuality. Take Kristy, for example—she has this mysterious yet deeply caring and intelligent vibe. I’d love to see what kind of special she might dream up.
We really missed you all during the week you were closed—it just wasn’t the same without you. So glad to see you back in action. Keep doing what you do best!“

“Consistently been to Naan & Brew the last few years and would hands down mark them as one of the best places for Indian food in BHAM! Quality is consistently high with a variety of delicious options (including some great vegetarian/gluten-free dishes) and we always have great service when we come here! Menu Faves: Garlic naan, veggie samosas, chicken samosas, veggie pakoras, paneer pakoras, butter chicken, chicken tikka, lamb palak, channa masala & coconut chicken curry. Definitely a must-try here in town!“

“Ordered the breakfast burrito even if it’s evening. I am always on the hunt for a good breakfast burrito. This one didn’t disappoint. Eggs, sausage, hash brown, and some special sauce with a kick wrapped in a burrito. Ordered a Pepsi too. Not a fan of the paper straws. Interior has a classic old town vibe to it. It is in the middle of downtown Bellingham after all. Cool picture frames and merchandise on the walls. The PRIDE flag might suggest they may be left leaning and might be hostile to law enforcement or religious people. I think businesses should at least pretend to be politically neutral. The server took awhile to get to me. But the food is still worth it.“

“Shin was an exceptional server who made our experience even better! Not only is the food delicious and authentic, but the entire restaurant has aromas of comfort as you walk in to a quaint, comfortable dining room with preset tables. I had the amazing Chilli Chicken dish, and my wife had the chicken curry. Shin was very careful to check to make sure the dish was gluten free, as she is celiac. Please make this a must be excursion for your next Indian cuisine experience! 8/28/2025“
