“Everything was excellent, as White Rock area provides. Sadly the place was super cold as the walk through windows were kept open (to please one set of guests) in today's rainy weather. When requested again after half an hour, it was only closed after a second request, that took almost 40 mins after the first request, took permission from the 'guests' to close the windows. “Cup bingsu, ah boong, and taiyaki were all so delicious. I tried the mango cup bingsu and would want to try other flavors next time! There were three flavors for taiyaki and my daughters really liked the custard ones. I would definitely recommend people to try these amazing desserts!“

“We only bought some different beans by Republica, and we haven’t purchased coffee in-store or used their café services, so I can’t comment meaningfully on the service or atmosphere.

However, my father is a big coffee enthusiast. He grinds and brews his own coffee daily, and he has already tried Republica’s beans from different regions. We’ve also tested beans from four or five other roasters across Greater Vancouver.

So far, Republica’s beans stand out as having the BEST ROASTING quality, being the FRESHEST, and also the most reasonably priced in Metro.

If you’re open to enjoying different types of coffee beans, I’d highly recommend taking advantage of their weekly coffee bean sales and you can buy with full confidence.“

“The espresso is delicious with deep rich flavors, I got an iced latte and it was very good. Plenty of coffee and espresso drink options as well as milk alternatives. I also got their breakfast sandwich. It was, in my opinion, one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a long time, phenomenal. I don't know what I was expecting, but I'm so used to chain coffee shops and their egg patties that this was a pleasant surprise. Real toasted bread, real cheese, fresh cooked egg, lettuce, tomato, avo/guacamole, delicious sauce (the sandwich was not at all dry, the perfect amount), and the sandwich comes with bacon, but I don't eat meat and they had no problem not adding the bacon for me. Again, the sandwich was absolutely delicious, I had taken it to go and didnt get a chance to tell them how much I enjoyed it, but I savored every last bite! I am not certain as to why this is not always consistent across the board at some of the other locations... Some say it is the machine or the Barista, etc. Even when this location updated their machines, they still produce an amazing long pour Americano - thank you, thank you! Lots of seating and easy parking. I arrived around 1 PM and there were a few spots available. There’s a coffee shop inside the bakery. I haven’t tried their coffee yet, but the bakery itself is amazing. The muffins are delicious and the buttery cake was sweet and yummy. Can’t wait to come back and try more!“

“I recently tried their new rice bowls — the Sweet Beef and Spicy Pork — and they were both excellent. The fresh lettuce, flavorful meat, rice, and their signature mustard-based sauce came together perfectly. It was fresh, hearty, and really well balanced.
