“Location is a bit uncanny so I wasn’t sure when I came into Ichi 19 but the food here was really really solid. Amazingly grilled chicken and pork teriyaki. Has that perfect char taste without overwhelming it and the chicken katsu had the softest chicken I’ve ever eaten complimented by the nice and thin fried coating. Yakisoba has huge portions, really thin noodles with heaps of vegetables and chicken added into it. Hot and spicy tofu had that extra smoky taste with thick glazed sauce around fried tofu pieces and vegetables, eating this with the teriyaki chicken was so so good. Portion size can’t be beat and if you’re looking for teriyaki cravings this place is the best teriyaki go to spot for sure. Really satisfied 😁“

“In addition to their delicious Chinese menu, their fusion Latin-inspired dishes like Pollo Frito are amazing!“

“First visit today. Throwback pricing, truly. I don't know how it works but they are charging what I would have expected to pay ten years ago. It was a great value. No, it isn't pretty outside. That does not matter. I can't believe somebody left a bad review based on that, while never having eaten here. It was plenty comfortable and the service was fast and friendly enough. The food was very good. We will be back.“

“Family dinner for 7 was a little over $200 & worth every penny!!!
Not too crowded and very showy from the outside. I honestly did not expect it to be so good!
Definitely a new top 5 favorite place for dinner!“

“Might become my new 'value Lunch' spots. The Lunch Combo I had, King Pao Beef was very flavorful, colorful, nice presentation. Soup is included with lunch. Prices are $3-4 under the other Chinese places often mentioned in the area. Pretty small, Only a dozen or so chairs. Had Lunar New Year parade on the one TV.“

“My husband and I wanted to venture out and check out a new sushi spot. We tend to always visit the same place in Vancouver and chose to try something in Portland. I came across this restaurant on Yelp and saw it had great reviews so we thought we’d make our way out. It’s located off of 122nd and it’s next to a little corner store market. Very easy to miss and parking lot is very small. We were the only ones in there when we walked in. An Asian male greeted us right away and allowed us to pick any table to sit at. He brought over waters and played and utensils while we looked over the menu. There was quite a bit of options for the sushi and bento dishes, as well as the other Chinese food options. We order chicken gyoza, katsu chicken (which came with miso soup), 2 different sushi rolls and the chicken lo mein. Everything tasted fresh and the food items were all delicious. My husband loved all the dishes and rated everything a 5-star. The service was great and the restaurant was small and clean. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.“

“The owners are amazing. The food is ALWAYS FRESH AND ON POINT! I unfortunately had to replace my regular Chinese food place ( Chinese happiness) because they closed down 😪 i tried every Chinese restaurant in a 10 mile radius and this one is by far the best replacement I could find. The building is tore back but don't let that deter u.I promise u won't regret it“

“Wife and I decided to do takeout. Their BBQ Pork Lo Mein was so good! A single order was large enough to feed both of us and our 18 month old. Previously we've only done Ichi Teriyaki's yakisoba, and obviously it's apples to oranges, but the lo mein here is twice the portion size and three times as savory. We're very pleased and will be getting our cones from here from now on.
It was 1700 on a Wednesday evening and there was no wait. So from ordering from home until the food was in my hand was only ten minutes. Another plus!
You all should try it.“

“This is my go to place whenever I'm feeling under the weather. They usually accomodate me and my requests to replace one of the items on a combo plate. The soup, general's chicken, and fried rice are always great - and has been for the last 10+ years here. Huge thanks to the Green Tea team over all the years for always helping me with my headaches and colds“

“Went for Dim sum and it was very pleasent, the dumplings are on the smaller side but reasonably priced and of very high quality. Somewhat limited selection, though they have some unique and rare options, friendly staff, clean and inviting space. Overall, well worth the price and I would certainly return.“

“Good sit down service minus a few loud or riff raffy people. I have ordered from 4 others in the area which i will not name and they are no comparison. My girls 10 and 4 years love their seasame chicken, i love their no viened fried shrimp, and my husband goes for their kung pao chicken. Veggies are fresh. We mostly order and pick up and enjoy at home. But good price and food. No complaints.“

“Customer service nowadays is a lost art. Went to Chu's for lunch had their special. I was waited on by Sam(Samantha.) She was very attentive, she was very good. The Kung Pao chicken was hot and delicious, the spring rolls were crispy on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside. Awesome place. I recommend this place highly. The tea and fortune cookies are complementary of course“

“I live in Seattle and my family lives in Camas. Every time I come down to visit, I instantly crave their chow mein. I can’t ever find this type of chow mein anywhere! I can’t stand the noodle versions, I want their bean sprout version 😩. Anyway, their dishes are always predictable (as in they always tastes great, never changes), large portions, and decently priced (in this economy). The restaurant is a ma & pa no fuss-come-in-sit-down-order-eat-food coma-go home-nap time place. The staff are kind and I recommend supporting small businesses like them.“
