“Lots of food ! More of a Cantonese style restaurant. The Pork Chow Mein with dry noodleswas fabulous. Fresh vegetables, seasoned just right with not too much corn starch to make it gooey. Fried rice was plain but not dry... I had sweet and sour pork ribs , very grissley but exactly the way I like them . The sesame chicken was heavily breaded but that is very normal for Cantonese... the sauce on the side was great. Salt and pepper shrimp was good. Not very salty but the breading wasn't so much you couldn't taste the shrimp. The egg drop soup is very flavorful and had a lot of vegetables. Service was excellent. Only one lady but she kept very busy and we did not have to wait very long for the food. Restaurant always looked empty but it was busy with people with take outs. It was clean and friendly I will definitely come back and try the beef broccoli...“

“This place is a strip mall GEM. It’s tiny, there’s not a lot of tables, but every time I eat here I am floored that it’s not packed full. I usually come for the lunch special; it’s pretty cheap and you get a lot of food. You can’t go wrong with the Pong Pong Chicken or the Crispy Garlic Chicken. I don’t know how they do it, but they manage to keep the batter crispy even when it’s covered in sauce. Delicious sauce. The salmon puffs are delightful. I kinda want this place to get super popular, so they can afford to move into a bigger space and maybe invest in a soda fountain (with Dr Pepper, please.)“

“The guy behind the counter forgot to pack my rice in the to-go bag the other day and ran out into the parking to flag me down to give it to me. I feel like a lot of places today wouldn’t even bother. The service is great and the food is quite good. I’ve never had a bad experience from this restaurant.“

“This is Vancouver's best sushi restaurant. I would give more than 5 stars if possible. I ordered calamari, gyoza, tempura shrimp, and egg rolls for appetizers .For the main course we ordered the Sashimi combo. Various tuna, red snapper, and salmon nigiri. And a tsunami roll. The food was excellent. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The service is great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The atmosphere is relaxing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I highly recommend this place ?“

“I miss some of the popular Taiwanese sides like green onion pancakes from the previous location but Tasty Pot is a worthy replacement. I had the lamb soup and it was excellent. Lots of lamb slices, meatball, and fillings to fill you up and top-up on delicious broth to keep you eating for an hour more. I know there are AYCE Shabu places but you can fill up at Tasty Pot for half the price. We also ordered the dumplings which came with six. It's a reasonable deal but they were average. The lamb soup with vermicelli noodles at medium spicy was perfect though.“

“I love this place!! Best Asian food in Vancouver. It’s more expensive, but you actually get your moneys worth. The food is quality. The taste is amazing and it’s consistent. Should I know!! I order the sizzling rice and pork ribs, cilantro beef or spicy shrimp, chili dumplings and jasmine rice EVERY Saturday!! Not even kidding!! And it’s good whether it’s delivered or whether you pick up!“

“We tried this place right after we moved to the area. Thought the building inside and out was beautiful and thought maybe the food would be lack luster, but we were shocked as to good it was. Generous portions and friendly staff. Have not tried the sushi yet, but we will soon!Dietary restrictions: My husband does not eat much meat anymore, so there were plenty of options for him“

“It's a little strange that you can't go into the main restaurant to eat. You can only pick up to go orders. All dine-in is done in the bar. Our server was also the bartender. She was so busy. The food was delicious, and the music that was playing on the speakers was great.“

“First visit today. Throwback pricing, truly. I don't know how it works but they are charging what I would have expected to pay ten years ago. It was a great value. No, it isn't pretty outside. That does not matter. I can't believe somebody left a bad review based on that, while never having eaten here. It was plenty comfortable and the service was fast and friendly enough. The food was very good. We will be back.“

“The very best Ichi Teriyaki I've ever been in. I thought they would all be pretty much the same but, not true, Washougal Ichi Teriyaki is Soooo much better than any other. You can tell management takes pride in the restaurant from their food to the cleanliness and atmosphere. Very welcoming and friendly too.“

“We play the occasional pool match out of here. The tables are decent. They've had problems with the roof leaking occasionally, and that might shut down a table or two. They do their best to get the roof fixed, but the leak seems to keep moving spots. The chinese food is great and one of my favorite places to get some. They've added a covered back patio in the last couple of years and have an older pool table out there.Parking: Parking is out front and back, with a few spots along one side of the building.“

“Setting: strip mallGood food for value. If you like authentic Chinese food, not quick not greasy, this is the place. Well portioned for left overs and of high quality. Pork buns are delicious and a must have, moist and perfectly cooked. Not pictured, because I inhaled them right off.Dietary restrictions: Good menu for DM“

“Been on the quest for a decent chinese restaurant since my normal favorites have closed down (covid, retirement, etc) This place is pretty close to me so i like the convenience of location. Though, the neighborhood is a bit sketchy - dont let that deture you (i took my food to go) The price point is good and the portion was actually tooooooo much - i dont really like leftovers of any kind so i think this was too much food. Almost broke my arm carrying it out lol. I will order from this place again for sure (to go that is) but can definatley share my food with 2 other people“

“The guy always cranks um out real fast, and with a happy kind of smile that makes you know he appreciates you in a genuine way. It's just him and the cook, so give them a bit more time and please support there efforts/ bizz. The good is consistently good. It's our go to in a pinch.“

“I've been eating at Good World since they first opened in the old First Interstate Bank on Sandy Blvd between 106 and 107th next to Parkrose Hardware. I like the full menu and that you can tell them how you like your food prepared, so you can get it as spicy or mild as you desire on all the dishes. All the food here except a couple fish dishes are scratch made to order and look snd taste very good MOST of the time The ambiance is like most quick turnover no frills dining experiences. The size of the portions is still reasonable, and the food quality is still very good. It used to be great, authentic Chinese food. But with changes in cooks the food quality and portion sizes have both diminished a bit over time. The service is passable; they could stand improvement with attentiveness and fixing mistakes when an order comes out wrong, which isn't often; but when it is, they don't hustle and strive to make it right.I like to start with egg flower soup or hot and sour soup, both are good choices here. I also like their spring rolls and the variety of sauces they have for dipping. This is not known as a Dim Sum restaurant, buy there is authentic dim sum service with a good selection of items, but higher than average prices at Good World. My favorite dishes at Good World are Mongolian Beef and Broccoli with Beef, both are excellent. The sweet and sour chicken or pork are also usually very good. Cashew Chicken is good but nothing special. General Tsao's Chicken is very good, perfectly spiced. They have a full bar but don't expect to get anything exotic or that requires a good mixologist. They do have Oregon Lottery in the bar if you are into slots while you waut or after dinner. There is a good full size pool table if you enjoy billiards. The bartender doubles as wait staff in the restaurant so you may have to wait fir service. Prices are competitive with other Chinese restaurants in the area e.g., the Ambassador. There is ample parking for dinner, but not always at lunch in the parking lot that is shared with several other businesses. Lunch prices and portions are reasonably adjusted downward and ate a good value. If you want a good, filling, tasty (and without MSG) Chinese meal that's scratch made from quality local sourced ingredients at a fair price check out Good World, you will be glad you did.Parking: Convenient PARKING can be difficult at lunch when they are busy. It's a shared lot with other businesses. Always plenty of parking after 5:30 when the other businesses sharing the lot are closed.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. They have crayons. Tables are spaced appropriately to accommodate families with small children in bassinets and ample for other accommodations, including people with disabilities.“

“Decided to ditch Christmas dinner and order to-go food from here. The place was busy but not insane, food was easily ordered on their website. It was ready at the time requested. Food here before was fine but this time the flavor really packed a punch, not sure if they have new owners but the food quality went up a few notches. This is our go-to place for Chinese food now!“

“Just a hole in the wall kinda place. There is NO dining there, it's a delivery or pick up restaurant. The neighborhood has gone to He!!, but they haven't. It's the only Chinese food in the area that we eat anymore. Great portions for the price, and they're happy to substitute items if you want to. I highly recommend to anyone looking for great Chinese food.Vegetarian options: Just see it on menu“

“I ordered the Beef Short Rib & Gyoza with a side of Cold Mac Salad and it was delicious. They made it pretty quickly as I only waited maybe 6 or 7 mins. Also the restaurant offers Egg Drop Soup compliments of the house. There are many tables and lots of space inside as well as benches outside for outdoor seating. As I was dining in I noticed about 5 customers had come through in the 40 minutes I was there. This was around noon so I'd say business is pretty fair.Parking: This restaurant sits on a block of nearby shops & eatery. Plenty of parking everywhere.“

“Meals are large portions literally eating for 2 and I have a family of 4 so we all ordered what we like and boom too much food but I won't have to cook the next day as we will have a lot of leftovers! Lady was kind of pushy for us to get the order going as soon as we sat down it was our first and only time there. Meals are very very saucy too much sauce and sweeter then we expected. But if your hungry and craving this type of food order eat here, also they dont have any type of juice options to drink for kids. Hot tea was great though! Bathroom was nasty, someone left a log and trash was overflowing.“

“Best food cart pod in Portland area. See separate review for Troutdale Station. This was one of at least 7 or 8 Asian style carts in amongst the 20 carts.Good portion size for the money, I order the beef chow fun (wide rice noodle). Flavors were on point though the beef, while plentiful, was not too tender. Well fried noodles with both green onion & bean sprouts. Not a bad choice if you hanker for Chinese food, but next time, I'll probably try the other Asian options: Korean, Thai, Indian, Japanese, etc.“
“Until very recently this was my local bar. I'm not much of a drinker or gambler but on the rare occasion that I do, this is my spot. Bartenders are super friendly and have all gone out of their way to please. The serve the bar staples in regards to food and it's pretty good. I recently moved so I fear I won't be coming here very often any more but I'll certainly try because they always made me feel welcome.“

“Another local mom and pop spot located in the Eastside. The interior is spacious and the people working were friendly. They have some lunch specials that you can get, which is of good portion. I ordered the Szechuan Beef over fried rice. The dish was very flavorful. I added a cup of egg flower, which was also good.“

“After trying so many Asian restaurants in Vancouver and being disappointed by the lack of flavor and quality, we finally found a little gem in Ichi Teriyaki 19! The prices are pretty steep, but the food is fantastic. It tastes authentic and lacks the MSG-packed overly processed flavor of other subpar restaurants. The staff is friendly, especially towards kids, and we will definitely be returning. No complaints except for the price hike.“
