“This place was honestly amazing. I ordered from Jafra four days in a row during Ramadan. Fun fact: Jafra is actually the name of a city in Syria. Everything I tried was so good, from the gyro to the shawarma plate. After seeing me order so many times, they even gave me a free donut. Great food and really kind people. Definitely recommend.They tie bags well and food remains so warm.“

But what really stood out was the top-notch service. It's refreshing to see such excellent customer care, it's a rare gem these days!“

“I'm mad my friend didn't show me this spot earlier!!! For starters, we had the mezze platter. It came with dolmas (so good!! Perfect marriage of rice and spices!), tzatziki (so fresh! The mint...yum!!), baba ganoush (with a smokey hint), hummus (so fresh!!), tabouli (best ive had in a long time! It was not overwhelming with parsley... super enjoyable. So good we got orders to go!), and the piyaz (a chilled white bean salad with ginger root, onion, tomato, EVOO, and garlic...so good we got orders to go!). Entrees we had the mesopotamian lamb and beef (the stew was so comforting..like a hug. The lamb was so tender!), and the lamb chops (love the rosemary and garlic!) For dessert...freshhhhh baklava, freshest ive had. It had just been made. It was so perfect! It's not so heavy compared to the normal baklava with honey that Im used too. Looks like I have a new favorite Mediterranean spot to go to!!! The staff was great. The food was amazing.“

You cannot go wrong! The place can fill up during peak mealtime hours if you’re hoping to dine in at a table with chairs but they do have window stools too.

I always get the gyro plate and it hits every single time. The owner-chefs also sometimes gift us freebie food every now and then which is above and beyond.“

“Fabulous flavors and great spicing. Had lamb shawarma and the lamb/beef, both great. Baba ganush clearly freshly made and tangy. The owner came around and chatted with us, too; they import ingredients from abroad and it definitely tastes like it, especially for the baba ganush. Also, their juices are lovely and fresh, and the chai tea is also well spiced.“

“We stopped by on way home for a to go order. We both ordered gyro plates. The meet was cut into small pieces and was moist. The rice fantastic. Was very happy with food especially for a strip mall. The staff was friendly and food came out quickly.“

“I just decided to stop in here in a whim when I was dropping my dog at the groomer's because I have a surplus of tzatziki at home that I wanted to grab some pita bread to have with. Decided to get an order of hummus and some baklava as well to see if I needed to come back at a later time and try more items....I'm so glad I did because I'm blown away by how good this hummus/pita/baklava is. It's so good that I haven't even pulled the tzatziki out of the fridge to eat with this stuff. And I have way too much tzatziki! And it's GOOD tzatziki too! I just don't need it because that's how great the hummus from Gyro Shawrma is.“

“The food is delicious . Everything is made with pride . It’s all fresh and made in house . Since it’s fresh and made to order , you will have to wait . It is worth it . I highly recommend the Greek french fries , amazing. Also I would not skip the chai tea or baklava, both so good. Friendly family business that appreciates its customers. The only thing I did not like was not their fault . Customers constantly talking loudly on cell phone , incredibly annoying ringers going off from multiple phones, some very loud voices . It’s a tiny place with close tables so hear everything. It has lovely lighting from beautiful lamps and is nicely decorated. I just wish some of the customers more considerate .“

“This place is absolutely wonderful! The staff are always so welcoming and personable and truly make an exemplary gyro. My favorite dish is definitely the classic gyro as well as the dinner platter, i’m also a big salad girl and they make excellent salads! Truly something for everybody here and they will always serve you with a smile on their face! Open late is a plus, and i’ve definitely got more than a few late night snacks from here!“

“I come here maybe four or five times a year. Some places, even the best places, they'll let you down every once in a while. Sahara Cafe has never done that. If I have one gripe, it's the parking, but the location doesn't lend itself to resolving that and, besides, that's got nothing to do with the proprietors or the food and service they provide. If you've never had Somali food and you're interested, but not sure where to start, give this place a try. A good try. Go out of your way to come here. It's that good.“

They were so good!! I love that they have a excellent rating from the board of health too. This is my new go to Restuarant!“

“The Gyros House is located in the food court of Federal Way Mall I have tried a lot of places that offer Gyros but this restaurant is the only one that makes it in the proper way and what I like the most is the freshness that make us comeback to eat there every time that we are near by.
