“Kowloon Inn is truly a gem. What I value most in a restaurant is simple: great food, fast service, and fair prices—and they deliver on all three.

The server was friendly and genuine, which made the whole experience even better. The food was excellent—easily one of the best spots for this style of Chinese food. To put it in perspective, I’d say it outshines China Palace in Bellingham, and Panda Express would be a distant third.

The staff is quick and responsive, even when it gets busy (which is understandable given they’re short-staffed at times). But with 30 years in business, they clearly know how to make a mean chow mein.

If you go, I highly recommend their number combinations—they’re filling, tasty, and come out fast. Quick, yummy, and consistently satisfying—Kowloon Inn is second to none“

“I ordered my meal to-go. It was prepared quickly, smelled delicious and was very reasonably priced on their lunch menu. Lunch items came with your choice of soup, your choice of rice and a generous lunch sized main item. All topped off with a couple of fortune cookies.
This restaurant is easy to find especially if you are familiar with the location of the Bellingham Xfinity store or Goodwill store. Definitely will go again.“

“I am convinced they only had one woman working when I went but she was ON IT. Service was a bit slow at first, but it was fine. Fried rice & orange chicken were EXCELLENT. Bao zi and pot stickers were also really good. The waitress literally ran after a patron to give her her jacket she forgot. Took a minute to get our orders taken, but food came out pretty quickly after.“

The same woman is always working the front end and when you hear her voice your stomach gets ready for the food. The food always tastes the same. Sure, it's not high end Asian food but it is the staple we all come to know and love. I personally get the egg drop soup in the largest size everytime I am feeling unwell and the sesame chicken combo is my go to.

One time, while living across town, I received wonton soup instead of egg drop soup. When I called them about it they had replacement egg drop soup out to us within 10-15 minutes. He had to literally leave right when I called for that to happen.

It costs the same to order directly from them as it does to door dash it. I prefer calling it in so they get all the money from it.

The location in the mall was convenient, and the interior was clean and well maintained, although it could use some updates in a few areas. The food was good, especially the red curry and rice.
