“This was our first time going to Battle's kitchen. 10/10 for service , 10/10 for communication, 10/10 for food. There was a bit of a wait but as other reviews and us being understanding people we didnt care. They accommodated my request for our toddlers food plate to swap fish for small order of chicken strips. Our friend and my significant other got the cajun seafood basket and they said "They will definitely go into a food coma after eatting their entire order." my toddler loved everything and devored everything, I ate everything as well. We had all ordered the southern sweet tea also a 10/10 not too sweet not too bitter, just right. All in all safe to say We recommend this awesome establishment! Im so glad we discovered this place and definitely worth the 45 minute drive. We will definitely be back to try more of what their menu has to offer.“

“Fabulous fresh seafood. Had the chowder and salmon and chips. Great on all accounts! Fries were crispy outside and tender inside, fish was delicious and tender. The oil is fresh. Served within 10 minutes. Plenty of seating in a cool spot by the ferry.“

“Honestly this place is a 10. A piece of fish fell on the table and I did not hesitate to pick it back up and eat it. They do have a bar and I trusted server Sydney with my drink and im glad I did. We had a wonderful time! Also I would like to add the oil for frying the fish is so clean! I'm very impressed I don't know why we didn't show up sooner! “My wife and I made a Valentines Day trip to Bellingham. We had our dinner at Keenan's the food was excellent and the service was excellent also. They made it a memorable experience.“

“The Cesar salad is incredible, their dressing is perfect! Asparagus was perfectly cooked, yellow potatoes were creamy... I did not care for my steak. It had an excellent char, however the menu said it is seasoned with an in-house blend but I could not taste anything, it wasnt even salted or peppered. It was cooked to my preference but was still very tough and I had a large piece of gristle that just didn't scream quality to me. I was quite disappointed about that but the wonderful service made up for it.“

“Great smoked salmon from a local Bellingham company. The quality was impressive and I really enjoyed the wooden gift box it came in. I served it to my family for Father's Day and and it was a home run. Also I really appreciated that it was gluten-free, healthy and I was supporting a local sustainable company.“

The chairs are uncomfortable, and sometimes the tables feel a little sticky, but they offer a great variety of drinks. As for the fish and chips, the fries were a little too salty and overcooked. “I always enjoy my experience at On Rice Thai. The owners provide an exceptional customer experience and are attentive. The dishes are rich in flavor and blend authentic elements together. One of my favorite new dishes is Khao Moo Dang, which is a BBQ pork fried rice with hard boiled egg and cucumber. The sauce is nice and sweet, but it is balanced with a hot sesame oil with jalapeno.
