“I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I finally did and all I can say is WOW. For starters, the waitress is literally the nicest person I have ever met. We ordered quite a few different plates and they were all so delicious! We had quite a bit left over and she even packaged it up for us. Also that was arguably the best kimchi I've ever had. I recommend this place 100000%!“
“What a gem! the food was excellent! My friend and I both ordered the bibimbop with tofu. It was so good! They served us miso soup and some sides to start. The slightly pickled, spicy cucumber side was so amazing. I could eat so much of it. The service was so speedy and the people who worked there were all very friendly. The vibes inside were great. Cannot recommend more.“
“Amazing! Best soup we have had in federal way! We had the rice cake dumpling soup and the beef short rib soup! The short rib came with 3 ribs loaded with meat with a hearty broth and clear noodles! The rice cake dumpling soup had a seolleongtang broth and every bite was filled with ingredients! Portion size is very generous! Can’t wait to come back and try more!“
“One word: home. This place is amazing. Ordered fried rice, chicken katsu, and chicken teriyaki to go. One bite: home. This food brought me home in South Korea eating my moms food. As a half generation Korean, this place brought me memories I haven’t had in a long time. Thank you.“
“We have been enjoying takeout here for years. We were able to eat in last week and it was so good. The Kimchi pancakewas amazing on the hot pan with the dipping sauce, as was everything else we ordered. It gets really busy, so have patience it is worth the wait.Parking: Parking can be a challenge at times.“
“I got a recommendation from a friend and decided to try and I’m impressed with the authenticity (I tried this Beef soup when traveling to Korea). All the staffs are so friendly and kind! The cozy atmosphere is very welcoming!! We love their Kimchi, so crunchy, fresh and a bit garlicky!! We drove 3 hours here just to get more of their Kimchi :) Definitely Recommend!!!“
“Delicious! We had the Bulgogi burritos and they are amazing! We also had the pork/veg/tofu mandu, which was good (maybe a little too heavy on the tofu) but looking forward to trying more of their mandu selections next time. We particularly liked the mandu wrapper noodle as well as the burrito tortilla as both had perfect texture. No frills inside, but the feel and ambiance could be improved by diming the (unnecessarily) bright lights by 30% or so.“
“The food was immaculate. The service was fast. And the ambiance was lovely especially when Isac was around. He was so kind and soft and vary polite. It was a great experience also i walk 7.3 miles just to get their 4 dumplings for 12$ then back“
“Really good dumpling place! The fried dumpling reminded me of my childhood version in Korea! The two Wang (king) dumpling types (w/ and w/o kimchi) were both really good. We had he soup version of the dumplings also, which was good as well. It was interesting that the initial "drink" was not water but was their "soup base."“
“Food was delicious, had generous portions, and came with lots of sides that were refilled a few times. The staff was friendly and attentive. Will be back!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, flat surface, and space to put a wheelchair at the end of booths.“
“I have seen several posts on social media about these Korean Corndogs - especially the offerings of Seoul Hotdog. We decided to give them a try ourselves. We both ordered the half and half with potato (one in original and the other spicy) the spicy sauce, the cheese sauce, and an order of fries. The fries were golden and beautifully seasoned. The dogs were so tasty. It was a wild experience of textures and flavors! I loved the spicy sauce. Definitely look forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu.“
“It was my first time going and I was grateful that they treated me so kindly. I enjoyed the gamjatang (gamjatang) that I submitted (thank you so much for the generous portion~) and I will try other menu items next time. Thank you to the aunts and staff in the kitchen~“
“Great place for some late night Korean fried chicken. The chicken was fresh and flavorful. Service was very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was also great. It seems like a really vibe-y place to grab a drink and enjoy some chicken with your friends. Will return!“
“Steam bun dumplings are huge and filling Fried flat dumpling is my favorite haven't will be back to try the other choices on their menu. Simple menu and fast service. If you're looking for something easy and simple Korean food this is the place to be.“
“Came here for lunch and needless to say this was probably the cleanest Korean restaurant I've ever been to! We ordered 12 different kinds of combo (meat plus tofu soup) and while the short rib was really sweet all the various tofu soup were delicious! Their side dishes were pretty good! Ordering just the tofu soup by itself is $19 for an extra 12 bucks you can get it via combo! Definitely will come here again!“
“Food was delicious! Waitress was very nice. He checked up on us the whole time we were there & mind you, there were so much people dining in at the time. I can’t wait to return for lunch or dinner! Thank you for providing excellent service!“
“My daughter took me to here on 3/20/20. We were wanting some Korean food and her friend had suggested to her that we try this place.Boy! It did not disappoint. My favorite is the Kalbi short ribs with all the beautiful side dishes. My daughter opted for the Kimchi hot pot or soup. The food was delicious and tasty! ?Service was awesome. ? We would definitely return again.Highly recommended!Tip: you can go across to Melody Boba for dessert. That’s what we did! LOL!“
“Came in here to try out their stews for lunch and I am so glad I did. This nice lady was the only waitress at the place but she gave great service with the refills and checked on us often. The food was delicious. One of the pork shoulder spicy dish was really spicy. I had difficulty eating it. I guess they did say spicy. The brisket stew was such a great comfort food for a rainy day. There's also little Korean sides like kimchi, picked radishes, rice cakes etc. That they will gladly refill for you. Overall. Great little hidden gem.“
“If you’re on à la carte, everything is good and perfect. Interesting banchan everytime, 10/10. Portion size is big as well. But I won’t recommend their BBQ buffet, the quality is kinda off for me. They’re also selling lettuce on the side for an extra of $2 or $4 (can’t remember). But for that buffet price, it should be included. So their a la carte is good, but you should try korean buffets in federal way.“
“Love finding hole in the wall Ma and Pa places. Looks can be deceiving when you pull up, but this is one we will return to. The sushi was fresh and really good flavor, the teriyaki chicken was scrumptious. Kids said we definitely need to come back.“
“Highly recommend pollack soup and rice soupThe pollack soup is really refreshing. There is no taste of seasoning at all.The meat in the soup is very soft.I think they select the parts that taste good and use them. It's absolutely delicious. The owner is very kind and makes a great impression. It's a comfortable and comfortable place, like eating a home-cooked meal.“
“Yeah, it's super far if you're coming from Seattle, and it's pricy too. But if you're a lover of fried intestines and Korean bar vibes , I think Makchang Drama is totally worth the trip. Make a day of it. Hang out at Southcenter Mall with some friends, go to Round 1 arcade, travel down to Makchang Drama for guts and KBBQ, then find a noraebang (Korean karaoke) spot on your way back up. Drink a bunch of soju. (Not the driver.) Get merry.I love makchang (beef intestines) and gopchang (small intestines) for their chewy, fatty texture and super savory flavor! If you're not a fan of fatty or chewy meat products (like chicken skin, pork belly, tendon, offal, etc), you might not be a fan of this. But if you love guts (like me), you'll love these! They come out on a smoking hot grill so they're just a bit crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside... mmm... I'm salivating just thinking of it. Cut through the oil with some somaek (soju + beer) and you're cooking! We ordered a couple of other dishes (like the boiled pork) and it came with free banchan (side dishes). I definitely would go again, and often -- if only it wasn't so far! It's all the way down in Lakewood, just past Tacoma. I'll just have to settle for only making a special trip once in a while.“
“My Family and I stopped here on the way home from a day trip (we live thirty miles away) We would make the trip to come out here again just to eat here!! We loved the food! Friendly staff, amazing prices and massive portions!! If I could rate this Ten Stars I would!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND“
