“My first time visiting....We had a Mother/Daughter day and she took me to this lovely coffee shop off of Ruston way...the coffee was hot and tasty...but the Dill Chedder Cheese Sones were so flaky and delicious...I can't wait to go back...“

My friend and I got boba from the place next to HMART. Couldn’t even drink it cause it tasted so blehhh…So we went here and got 4 different flavors. My friend got Taro, I got strawberry matcha, strawberry tea and the roasted matcha drink. I can’t describe how delicious they are over these boring words. I will definitely keep coming back!!!“

“I love sugar cookies. they are a lot of work so I do not like to make them. So I have been all over Washington always looking for the best sugar cookie and I FINALLY found it! some places have good cookies and some have good frosting but no one else has both. They make the perfect cookie with the perfect frosting. we also had the pumkin bar and it was absolutely delicious. we will definitely be back soon!“

“We have lived in several places and have tried lots of places here and elsewhere that sold banh mi sandwiches but these are the best banh mi sandwiches we have had! We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! The sandwich ingredients are fresh and flavorful and we especially love the wonderful paté they include on them, unless you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. They make the paté themselves and it is also as delicious as any we used to have in France! We like their rice bowls too. If you haven’t been to the “Toast Mi”…located in Lacey…we highly recommend seeking it out and giving it a try. If you like banh mi sandwiches, you will be happy that you did!“

“First order: I was really excited. The portions felt on par with what I would expect for the cost, and most importantly, the meals seemed fresh. The flavors were really good and packaged well. As someone who hates leftovers, I really enjoyed my first order. I would have given 4/5 stars.

My second order this week, not so much. (Maybe I ordered the wrong things this week). The breakfast portions were small (I was still hungry afterward), and the quality didn’t feel the same as the week before. The scrambled eggs with asparagus turned the eggs slimy and brown—not the most appealing. Dinners during the second week were decent but included fillers, like what appeared to be canned green beans. More roasted broccoli would have felt better, in my opinion.

So it depends on the week, I guess. I already ordered for next week, so we’ll see. I’ll update my review if the quality improves. I would order again for convenience (I’m currently postpartum, so having premade meals is super helpful!), but for this price point, I would expect the quality to stay consistent or improve.“

“This is a perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon. The indoor space is spacious and inviting and the outdoor area is really well put together. “My kids and I were craving for boba. Our favorite boba place closed months ago so I googled this one and said why not this place. I was not disappointed. My son loves mango slushie and not really into boba. He rated it as 8/10 because it DID NOT taste watery. My daughter had the taro boba and was very happy with the amount of boba in the drink. They have a good portion/ratio and that makes it worth the price. I tried the strawberry taro but not really a fan. I will definitely coming back to try other flavors.“

“I attended an event the Tacoma Chapter NAACP held at the Jazzy's cafe in Tacoma. This was my first time at this establishment. The event was well attended by NAACP members from Alaska, Oregon and Washington. DJ TV Lee a well known DJ from Washington provided music. The establishment is small but everyone had a good time. This is a nice place to have lunch maybe dinner and drinks. Recommend people check it out. Employees very professional as well as the owner.“

“We happened upon this little gem purely by accident because we needed to use the restroom on our way from Roy to Tacoma. I always feel bad asking to use the restroom at a business establishment without buying something, so I checked out the menu and, when I saw they had a sandwich called Ellie's Garden, I knew I had to order it in honor of my youngest granddaughter, Eleanore. The sandwich was phenomenal! I shared it with my daughter and we found ourselves wishing we each had a whole sandwich. We definitely will be returning to sample more of the goodies Blue Steele has to offer!“

“My husband and I have been eating at Nordstrom's Cafe for years. The food is always great and service is usually good. We feel the quality of the food and the clean, updated interior warrants the higher food prices. However, after shopping the Anniversary sale my husband and I went to lunch at Nordstrom's and we both were disappointed that the Cafe is now using paper napkins and not cloth napkins. I know it's not a big deal to some but it feels like another Nordstrom's downgrade. Just like losing the piano player and the customer service center/gift wrap. Remember those beautiful silver boxes with the bows? Or how every clerk walked around the counter to hand you your Nordstrom bag. Those days are gone....we find ourselves shopping there less.....“
