“We have lived in several places and have tried lots of places here and elsewhere that sold banh mi sandwiches but these are the best banh mi sandwiches we have had! We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! The sandwich ingredients are fresh and flavorful and we especially love the wonderful paté they include on them, unless you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. They make the paté themselves and it is also as delicious as any we used to have in France! We like their rice bowls too. If you haven’t been to the “Toast Mi”…located in Lacey…we highly recommend seeking it out and giving it a try. If you like banh mi sandwiches, you will be happy that you did!“

So I have been all over Washington always looking for the best sugar cookie and I FINALLY found it! some places have good cookies and some have good frosting but no one else has both. They make the perfect cookie with the perfect frosting. we also had the pumkin bar and it was absolutely delicious. we will definitely be back soon!“

My friend and I got boba from the place next to HMART. Couldn’t even drink it cause it tasted so blehhh…So we went here and got 4 different flavors. “We visited Three Hearts for lunch during our recent trip to Washington. I got the steak sandwich on gluten free bread with french fries and my husband got the chicken sandwich with fries as well as a mocha. I loved how thinly cut the steak was on the sandwich and the flavor combo was delicious. My husband liked the flavors on the chicken sandwich but thought the bread was too thick. The mocha was delicious. The food seemed really clean as I felt great after. The person who took our order was not that friendly, but everyone else we talked to who worked there was kind and helpful.“

“Visiting from out of town and I was introduced to white coffee. It was smooth, smoky and had a very nutty flavor. I asked and was given the name of the coffee brand so I could order it upon my return home. The blueberry cream cheese muffin was fresh and flavorful.“

“First order: I was really excited. The portions felt on par with what I would expect for the cost, and most importantly, the meals seemed fresh. The flavors were really good and packaged well. As someone who hates leftovers, I really enjoyed my first order. I would have given 4/5 stars.

My second order this week, not so much. (Maybe I ordered the wrong things this week). The breakfast portions were small (I was still hungry afterward), and the quality didn’t feel the same as the week before. The scrambled eggs with asparagus turned the eggs slimy and brown—not the most appealing. Dinners during the second week were decent but included fillers, like what appeared to be canned green beans. More roasted broccoli would have felt better, in my opinion.

So it depends on the week, I guess. I already ordered for next week, so we’ll see. I’ll update my review if the quality improves. I would order again for convenience (I’m currently postpartum, so having premade meals is super helpful!), but for this price point, I would expect the quality to stay consistent or improve.“

“I attended an event the Tacoma Chapter NAACP held at the Jazzy's cafe in Tacoma. This was my first time at this establishment. The event was well attended by NAACP members from Alaska, Oregon and Washington. DJ TV Lee a well known DJ from Washington provided music. The establishment is small but everyone had a good time. This is a nice place to have lunch maybe dinner and drinks. Recommend people check it out. Employees very professional as well as the owner.“

“My husband and I have been eating at Nordstrom's Cafe for years. The food is always great and service is usually good. We feel the quality of the food and the clean, updated interior warrants the higher food prices. However, after shopping the Anniversary sale my husband and I went to lunch at Nordstrom's and we both were disappointed that the Cafe is now using paper napkins and not cloth napkins. I know it's not a big deal to some but it feels like another Nordstrom's downgrade. Just like losing the piano player and the customer service center/gift wrap. Remember those beautiful silver boxes with the bows? Or how every clerk walked around the counter to hand you your Nordstrom bag. Those days are gone....we find ourselves shopping there less.....“

“We happened upon this little gem purely by accident because we needed to use the restroom on our way from Roy to Tacoma. I always feel bad asking to use the restroom at a business establishment without buying something, so I checked out the menu and, when I saw they had a sandwich called Ellie's Garden, I knew I had to order it in honor of my youngest granddaughter, Eleanore. The sandwich was phenomenal! I shared it with my daughter and we found ourselves wishing we each had a whole sandwich. “My typical order is the grilled cheese with tomato soup. The grilled cheese reminds me of the classic grilled cheese from my childhood, and the American cheese they use tastes very similar to Kraft. The workers are always so friendly and recognize their regulars, which makes the experience even better. Love them!“

“This is a treasure spot for truckers passing through and local warehouse workers. A very friendly old Korean Christian couple running this place the wife is the cook. Food is made fresh when ordered. The menu is simple. I ordered the breakfast, bacon egg hash browns and toast portion is perfect and everything on the plate was delicious. Talk about quality, it's as good as it can be. I definitely recommend this place.“
