“Unique bottle shop with an interesting selection of wines to purchase, a lovely spot to enjoy a snack and a glass of wine, or both. Snacks are great and pair nicely with a drink but are not intended to be substantial. The decor is calming and minimalistic. We have always been treated as friends here.”

“Stopped here on a whim and had the BEST experience! The food was phenomenal, we tried the Birria taco special and I will dream about them - the flavors were all perfect. We also got the side salad and it was loaded with fresh fruit and veggies and left the kids very happy. Cider was great, everyone was so friendly and welcoming, can’t wait to come back and try more. “Believe me, I've been to more wineries than I can count. Hands down, South Hill has the best views. They were also able to accommodate our group of 8 on very short notice. I will definitely get the word out, because I hadn't even known about this winery before this weekend. Looking forward to returning when I am in the area. For reference, it's appx 15 minutes from Hood River across the bridge.”

“Today, we drove down taco alley of Hood River to try 4 different taco trucks. We were blown away by the tacos here. The fish taco, birria taco, and quesabirria were really phenomenal. Highly recommend!

Parking: Plenty of parking everywhere”

“Quaint cafe and hotel in an old school. The cafe has great vegetarian options and tea as well as coffee. Be aware there are a lot of steps from the parking lot to the cafe.”

“We found another Papa Murphys location in Hood River, OR, that has pizza pie making down to a science. Generally, we order our favorite, customized pizzas from the 192nd Vancouver WA store, but happened to be in Hood River today. Awesome pizza pie, exactly what we ordered and prepared in amazing time. We ordered through the app and expected at least a 30 minute to an hour wait. This is 3/4/25, PIDAY25 and as busy as this team was, we got our pie in very short order and it rivals pizza from our go to Papa's location. I'll attach the image from just before the bake and another taken after we were quite satisfied, (yes this entire pizza nearly disappeared in minutes.) Thank you Hood River team. Awesome work including the smiles!!!”

“I’ve been going to el Rincon for many years, the food is consistently delicious every time I eat here. Service is unmatched, every time I get a burrito they always ask how I’m doing, what I’m up to and truly care for their customers. This family works 5-10am delivering food in the dalles then drive to hood river and then open from 11-6, 6 days a week! This family owned and operated restaurant along with being one of most affordable restaurants in the gorge. Any time anyone asks me where they should eat, without hesitation I always recommend here. Thank you for always putting 100 percent into your craft. Truly amazing. 11/10 would recommend”

“HIDDEN GEM! We stopped by to get some gas in Hood River and I was pleasantly surprised to learn they had a coffee shop inside! Taylor helped me. She was so friendly and fast! She really lived up to the saying on your cup, "coffee made with heart and served with a smile " Thanks for the great service! I had an iced horseshoe latte with white mocha and drizzle. It was delicious! Sweet as desired, but with a good balance of milk and coffee. I will definitely keep this place in mind when passing through this area again!”

“That roaster smell hits you immediately. Owner operator is friendly and knows àll coffee. Interesting to peek in the back at the goings on and ask questions about the big bags of beans. I happened in on Sunday which is when they clean the machine. That means on Sunday you can't choose to grind the beans in house. The dog actually runs the place and would appreciate a treat just for you walking In the door. Respectfully.”
