“Only thing I'll complain about, is no vegetarian kimchi*** served (no fish sauce, anchovies, squid ink) with the bbq short ribs or korean kalbi beef [exquisite job to chefs]!
Sushi, on the other spectrum- all was delicious; between my little sister (which was visiting from Montana), our mother filled up on miso soups, 2 yellowtail, 2 spider rolls of the 6 & the salad n white rice...
Hopefully, next time visiting- vegetarian Kimchi will be an option, even if $7 charge for all you can have while dining 😉 !
Kid-friendliness: Depending on your child's palate*
Wheelchair accessibility: Back door entry is, while they are working on fixing issues with front door (street parking)-“

“I ordered a cherry blossom roll and sunomono inside the restaurant for takeout. It was a Saturday night and busy and The service was polite and professional. I got my time estimate of 25-30 min, and left to wait in my car. I went back after 25 min and my sushi was ready. The roll was lovely and fish delicious, topped with tuna and fish eggs which I love for a fun salty pop and generously portioned. The sunomono was pretty and I enjoyed it altho I do prefer a bit more pickling and vinegar! My only critique is not keeping to-gos in a fridge because my fish wasnt cold and minus one star on atmosphere for lack of space in the entry for guests to be seated, order and wait when it's busy. I am so glad O finally tried Kuro sushi. It felt like my birthday and it's not even my birthday because the sushi is that good [: ♡ I hope to come back one day and dine-in! Thank you so much!“

“The atmosphere and service are great. The food itself is good but could be slightly adjusted.
We ordered a tonkatsu and gyudon.
The tonkatsu was cooked well but lacked a bit of sauce. Portion size is appropriate, and overall flavor was delicious.
The gyudon was a bit tough. The beef was a little bit thicker than standard and was a bit overcooked. The rice was a little dry, but we did come in late in the evening, so that's not a major surprise.
Overall, it's a good experience, and we'll try coming back, but a bit earlier in the day.“

“Incredible experience - we reserved the November bar seating for our anniversary, and every dish was both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. Eating at the bar was especially unique, as we could watch the chef make everything right in front of us! We also really liked the 3 Sake flight. A great place for kaiseki on the east side.“

“Food is always amazing! Great quality and price and is a hidden gem in Factoria. We drive over from Seattle or make sure to pick it up on our way home from running errands on the Eastside.
Vegetarian options: Vegetable options for stir fry, fried rice, and yakisoba“

“If you are looking for Yoshinoya beef bowl you had in Japan, this is what you are looking for. There’s no Yoshinoya in WA, so you should try here.
The reproduction of Yoshinoya's beef bowl is quite high. The clerk was Japanese. The menu name was Sukiyaki instead of Gyudon. It's a style where you order at the cash register and it's brought to your seat.“

“Tried the chicken bowl for the first time and wow — easily some of the best grilled teriyaki I’ve had, period. The chicken was charred to perfection, full of flavor, and juicy. The white rice was cooked just right — soft, fluffy, and a perfect match for the teriyaki. On top of that, the service was fast and super friendly. I totally get why this place has such high ratings. Can’t wait to come back!“

“This place gives a good amount of food for the price and it tastes great too. The staff are kind and sweet. Best Teriyaki place I’ve been to.
Kid-friendliness: The staff had no issues cleaning up a water spill from a family with two little kids and even gave the kids lollipops after they finished!“

“I tried this place for the first time today. Ordered spicy chicken teriyaki. I didn't like how they put onions and carrots mixed with the chicken. They also didn't give teriyaki sauce to put on your rice. The food was just alright, for what I spent ($15) There's plenty of better teriyaki places in Kent.“

“This restaurant was pretty decent. The only reason I took one star off is that my Chicken Yakisoba was VERY heavy on veggies … I feel like there was more veggies that noodles and I wasn’t paying $18 for mostly veggies. The flavors were good, service was casual - you order at the counter it’s not really full service establishment.“

“I have been here twice now. The 2nd time was my redemption to order the chirashi bowl. Honestly for ~$16+ it's worth it. I thought the fish was super fresh and it came out so fast. I mis-oredered my first time here and I really DO NOT recommend anything besides the chirashi bowl. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE!!!
It was quite warm in the restaurant as most places in WA don't have AC so I recommend taking it to go.“

“After eating here once, I'm definitely coming back. We ordered the beef yakisoba and spicy chicken as well as an extra side of rice. Me and my brother were both excited by the fact that the yakisoba came with its own rice as well. As for the spicy chicken, it was dry but came with extra sauce, so I couldn't really tell. And the meat portions were very generous. There was also a side of teriyaki sauce on both plates. Overall, great food and service. The casher was very sweet.“

“Extremely clean and cozy environment, beyond impeccable customer service, not only was I warmly greeted with a smile and given the absolute best customer service, I watched the lady behind the counter give every single customer the exact same kindness and warmth. She was so sweet to everyone, making sure they enjoyed their meal after they finished, offering extra sauces and sides, showing everyone the best ways to eat your dish and what things go best with each dish. I think my favorite part about her was how genuinely excited she gets when people like the food, you can tell it just makes her really happy. She noticed I was pregnant and gave me a bit of extra kimchi, I swear she literally made my day. I always DoorDash from this location but whenever I do come in it’s the same service everytime even from the guy who works the counter sometimes too, everyone I’ve encountered here is so warm and friendly. Which is something that’s seriously lacking in a lot of restaurants nowadays. Thank you to the Team at Toshi’s Factoria location for never failing to feed me amazing food and put a smile on my face.“

“We accidently found this restaurant and so glad we did. The food was exceptional and very inexpensive for the quality and service. The beef bulgogi pot stickers and tempura prawns were the best we have found in WA yet. Even though I am not a fan of spicy food - the Rose Combo (sorry I forgot the name) was the best flavor I have ever had. Thank you! We highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Very friendly service~ however after I have wanted teriyaki for so long, the teriyaki chicken I got here was discontinued. Rice is not fully cooked, chicken was dry. I hope it was just because I went to get togo 30 minutes before their closing time. One thing that I want to mention is they don’t intend to get tips, when I pay I was waiting to get the machine to turn back to me for adding the tips, but not, he only asked if I need a receipt. Give 4 stars because of that, especially for nowadays every restaurant is demanding high tips even for take out.“

“I can only rate the food so far, but I'm excited to actually sit in! I've had a bad run of crap sushi for a bit, and this place made me remember good sushi. Their lunch prices are awesome for 3 simple rolls that are very filling. I love the rice in the sushi, but enough to tell it's seasoned but not too much, and the yellowtail is absolutely my favorite fish and they respect it beautifully 🤤.
I have only two complaints so far and one is just being greedy lol. I always want more yellowtail roll and it's made with scallions not radish sprouts as I'm use to but still delicious.
And I got the spider roll today, all tasted good, but the batter on the soft shell crap wasn't cooked through. Still delicious though. The crunch roll was outstanding and I loved how they put the sauces under so to not drown out the sushi as much, I very much appreciate that.
Total repeat for us!“

“I don’t usually write reviews, as you can probably tell from my non-review status, but this Jumbo Chicken Teriyaki Box has completely changed the game for me. As someone who travels frequently for work and eats on the go, I was not only surprised but genuinely in awe of the simple yet incredible meal that was delivered to my less-than-glamorous hotel room in Seatle.
When I say "simple," I don’t mean it in a negative way—rather, it was simply perfect. The chicken, the salad—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I was so impressed that I feel compelled to tell others: Order from here now, and often!
It’s been two weeks since I left Seattle, and I’ve thought about this meal at least 35 times since returning home. This place is a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to get back to the West Coast so I can dine here again. For what it’s worth, I ordered from them both nights of my stay in Seattle. Highly recommend!“

“Had a family dine in. Food had good flavors, enough portion size. The ambience was traditional. Felt little awkward when food was served in take away boxes, but later it became a good strategy to pack left overs. Would definitely visit again.“

“We ordered the Caterpillar and Big Fish rolls, and both were not only delicious but also beautifully decorated. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The wait time was reasonable, and both the servers and chefs were friendly and welcoming—it was nice to see everyone smiling. They also offer a large variety of sushi options to suit different tastes. I didn’t notice anything negative during our visit. Definitely recommend this place for sushi lovers!“

“This is my go-to teriyaki place. Is it a tiny little hole in the wall with limited seating? Yes. But the food is amazing and the people are super nice. They offer generous portions, and the ingredients are clearly fresh and high quality. Spicy chicken is bomb, beef teriyaki is delicious, but the crispy garlic chicken is really where it's at. Big pieces of meat with no gristle whatsoever. So so so good.

“This place is awesome for Japanese food in downtown Issaquah! The owner’s super friendly and runs everything himself, which makes it feel extra personal. Great prices for tasty, no-frills dishes you won’t usually find around here. Don’t come expecting fancy, just solid, delicious food.“
