“I am so full! Hot tea, followed by taro puffs (savory with a hint of sweetness, perfect crunch), fried garlic with eggplant (perfect amount of salt, I've never had douchi before, I ate a lot of them), Grandma's braised pork belly (omg it was like butter), Tsingtao lager, sesame coated red bean paste balls, and sichuan jelly (possibly called bingfen?), which is the cold dessert option. This place is awesome, definitely coming back to try the warm dessert and some seafood.“

“Golden Daisy Restaurant is a great spot for casual dim sum and Chinese BBQ. The food is flavorful, portions are generous, and prices are very reasonable. I especially enjoyed the BBQ meats and classic dim sum items — perfect for a quick meal or takeout.
The place itself is pretty simple and no-frills, so don’t expect a fancy dine-in experience, but service is fast and staff are friendly. Overall, it’s a solid option when you’re craving comforting Chinese food without spending too much. I’d definitely come back.“

“What a delicious food.
Their rice rolls have great texture and packed with deliciousness.
Steamed buns are very puffy and have good amount of fillings instead of having too much buns.
Peking duck may seem pricy, but it has that gorgeous crispy skins and flavorful & soft & tender meat. It also comes with some flour wraps and vegetables for you to create a Peking duck wraps.
Their menu is on paper and you mark what you want with a pen. Because it is a disposable ordering menu, there is no pictures, but they have QR code for you to scan and access online menu to see the pictures of each dishes.“

“There aren’t a lot of great dumpling places back home, so we loved getting to try so many different delicious options here! I’d never had soup dumplings before, but I loved them. They were probably one of the highlights of the trip for my partner!“

“The Mei Wa Bakery is fantastic. They serve a wide mix of fresh, warm, sweet and savory pastries, as well as freshly made steamed dumplings and buns. The prices are very reasonable, and you can get a broad assortment of treats for under $20 (great for brunch or a morning treat). You could feed a family of four for under $40 if you opt for buns/dumplings. Value aside, the quality is fantastic. The flavors are balanced and not overwhelming for most items. We particularly enjoy the curry buns, the taro almond buns, the coconut cocktail buns, and the sesame red bean paste ball. They also have a large assortment of cold dessert cakes and pastries that we have yet to try. On top of all this, the service is always quick friendly and kind. Would recommend to locals and visitors alike.“
