“This is our favorite stop in Kingston every time we are there. The apple fritter is so different and better than any fritter I've ever had. It's crispy and crunchy on the edges and soft in the center. It's a dream. It's closed on Sundays so we have learned to double our order on Saturday so we can have it on Sundays too. We might have a problem haha“
“The chocolate cake is so delicious...and available by the slice. My usual purchase is a slice of leek and gruyere quiche, or quiche Lorraine, but you need to get to the bakery early as the quiches sell out quickly. The hot coffee mocha is mighty fine, too.“
“I was so happy to stumble upon this store. I bought a 4-pack of truffles and each was a delight to eat! The salted caramel and Mayan truffles were especially amazing. There are also vegan options for folks. Looking forward to visiting again the next time I’m in Ballard!“
“Superb! Had the Bristol bay sockeye melt! Deli folks smoothly & accurately described the makings. I said let's do it standard. Was NOT Disappointed. Recommend them for salmon melt. They know their product well too. Great little shop held me over for a while, stuck locked out of my truck on way to work. Couldn't get stuck on a cooler location!“
“The baristas were very friendly! I got a lavender latte and a sour cream coffee cake. Both tasted great! The coffee cake was pretty big. My partner got a decaf mocha, which he liked a lot. It’s a really cute coffee shop and I loved that they have pictures of different dogs on the wall and offer dog treats too.“
“If you're in Bainbridge Island, make sure to see if this farm stand is open and pick up a loaf of sourdough! Regular sourdough loaves run about $8 and specialty loaves run around $10. Bring cash or check (there's a money box you can drop off in), or she also accepts Venmo (just beware there might not be cell service). You can also pre-order or sign up for a plan at her website.“
“Looking for morning coffee and saw this basket that has great ratings on Yelp. The ginger coconut scone I got was really great. I love the texture of the coconut and candied ginger. Loved it. We also got the salted pretzel. Enjoyed that this bakery offered unique choices not found at other bakeries. Wish they had coffee, but maybe in the near future.“
“Great grilled cheese sandwich, salad, potato salad, and desserts. Folks working there were nice and helpful in deciding what to get to eat. They were short on number of indoor places to sit, but there is nice seating just outside. Great experience.“
“My friend recommended me this place. Great place to study! I honestly came here to buy the sticker but their pastry took me by surprise. Their matcha muffin has red bean filling inside and it was delicious. Everything here has a Japanese twist to it and i love that. Lots of seats inside with stable WiFi. The barista was nice as well.“
“This is our go to neighborhood cafe. The staff is great. The baked goods and coffee are top notch. They also sell and make drinks with Lighthouse Coffee which is my favorite Seattle roaster. If you live or are visiting do yourself a favor and stop in for a cup.“
“Always love coming here on Saturday morning for their Bagel Toasties™️We also see them on Sundays at the Ballard Farmer's Market and get pastries or bread from them.Really a terrific crew of people who care about the food they're making and the people they serve it to.Thank you for all you do Salmonberry.“
“I bought a molasses and ginger cookie from Haggens Grocery at Lakeland Hills in Auburn WA. I don’t see them on your list of retailers perhaps you should include them. I like the individual packages and will try the chocolate chip next. Very soft and full of flavor.“
“Stayed in Greenwood for a hot minute during our honeymoon. Happy this lovely little place was just a block away. I really loved their Smith iced tea, my husband enjoyed the Americano (both hot and iced). Cookies melt in your mouth, and make sure to try the Ham and Jam sandwich!“
“Crown hill is an interesting neighborhood that intersects with greenwood and Ballard. Those neighbors have distinct identities and therefore are a bit easier to find expected cultural interactions. Turtle coffee provides a quiet and kind space that gives pause to most of the less approachable spaces within north Seattle. The barista was patient with her greeting and presented all of her establishments options with an efficient kindness. I don’t know if I’ll have many reasons to come to consider crown hill, but if I ever want to spend time at a coffee shop, and enjoy a place for coffee standards, atmosphere and comfort in a building. Turtle coffee will be the space for me. I’m glad I have a new home for all my coffee needs. The right place for someone to feel okay coming out of their shell“
“Honestly that was the best Sausage Pastry I've ever had. ?Parking: 10 parking spaces available, more across the street.Kid-friendliness: It's a Very Friendly/Family Atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access to the the sides.“
“Sweet Pearl baked the most delicious (& beautiful) cupcakes for my daughter's birthday party! Nicole was so lovely & easy to coordinate with and the treats were a big hit with all our guests. So thankful to have this gem of a bakery nearby!“
“Went to Sabine Cafe for a quick afternoon bite with my teenager. We chose some appetizers to share off the menu: fried cauliflower, whipped feta with veggies, and the Za’atar fries. The service was friendly and efficient. The food arrived quickly, too.The food is middle eastern influenced. My teen didn’t like the tahini and feta flavors, unfortunately. ? She made the most of it though and ate some of the food… but just didn’t love it.Personally, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and outdoor glassed-in dining area, but also wasn’t blown away by the food we chose. (I noticed they have a breakfast/brunch menu - maybe this would be a better option next time…)“
“Larson's for the win!! My goodness the assortment here from cookies to cakes to breads, they have everything for your sweet tooth. I needed a cake on a Monday and it's not very easy to find very many bakeries that are open on Mondays let alone after 5pm when people are getting home from work. I ordered a red velvet cake and got a big one, which worked out well for me, because that meant we got to eat this delicious cake for multiple days. Even two days after purchase, it was moist and delicious like you could eat it with the back of a fork. They personalize the cake to my husband's birthday.“
“I cannot remember every piece of bread I have ever had in my lifetime, but I certainly remember Coyle's Focaccia bread weekly or daily or routinely, well does it matter it is amazing! The focaccia bread they make is wonderful in every way, texture, chewiness, flavor, quality, and crunch. I love how this bread surfaces every mouth texture to the forefront for a truly unforgettable bread. Here is a list of must tries from Coyle's menu.Any Scone.Cakes, any of them.Cream Filled Coconut puffs – this is probably, in my humble opinion, the best tasting thing on the menu. But I am midwestern. The coffee is great, especially since they are not a coffee shop by trade. The last thing I recommend is to please go to any of their events where they are offering something new to try. It will feel personalized and made for you. Beautiful bakery and I will see y'all next time.“
“I can't speak for the flavor but these are some of the most gorgeous cupcakes! I love that the frosting is not overwhelming like on most cupcakes. The woman working behind the counter was friendly and very helpful! 10/10 would come back again!“
“La Copa has the best coffee in the area. Their staff understands the science and art of pulling espresso shots and their machine is calibrated properly so your drink is well made. They have a nice variety of food options made on premises and everything is delicious. Our favorites are the breakfast burritos (huge and yummy), the coffee cakes (flavors rotate), GF banana bread w/ chips, the danishes, the marzuka bars, the cookies, and the turkey pesto panini. The owners and staff are hard-working and kind. They care about their locals and the newbies. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You deserve it!“
“The food was incredible. I had a BLT Chicken Sandwich. The fries were crispy and delicious, the chicken was tender and juicy, and the bacon was crisp but still easy to bite. Tomatoes added flavor but didn't water down the sandwich (an issue afflictibg many lesser BLTs).Highly recommend if you are in the area.“
“This is a must visit place. As you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff and the great smell of baked goods. The interior decor is wonderful. The menu hosts a very good selection of tasty items at a great price. The Biscuits & Gravy (with sausage) is THE BEST that I have ever had (East & West Coast, US). I will return for more visits to try more tasty items.“
“Decent bakery. Wish they had more vegan options. The one vegan croissant they had was cold. It's also a pretty small space, so good luck finding a place to sit. There are also no outlets (perhaps to discourage people from staying too long).“
“Yummy molten chocolate cakes. We got the strawberry one, and the jam added necessary tartness. Loved the mix of hot and cold with the ice cream on the side too. It's definitely rich enough that two people can share one dessert! I just wish there were more non-chocolatey desserts for people who don't like super rich chocolate. They had two seasonal ones on rotation, but I wasn't really keen on either of them (some kind of cookie ice cream sandwich and a monkey bread I think).“
“I've only been here once and purchased 2 items. A cinnamon & sugar donut and a pastry. They had a decent selection and a bunch of cookies. Quality of the food was good for the ones I purchased. Tasted very fresh. Pricing was fair compared to other bakers close by. Staff was very nice. Will try again.“
“Large, heavy, dense donuts that really hit the spot. I'll admit their prices scared me away for years but you're getting great value if you wanna fill up your tummy and treat yourself for breakfast or dessert. The drive thru is so convenient and takes the experience to a whole new level.“
“This place far exceeded my expectations. I met my boss here in hopes to grab a quick bite between ferries (we had an hour). I ordered a simple "eggs and toast"and a White chocolate mocha. The potatoes were hands down the best breakfast potatoes I have ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on inside. Everything was perfectly seasoned. My boss had the avocado toast with fruit which looked absolutely amazing. I was amazed at the quality for the price. I am extremely picky with my coffee and this was spot on. Even though the place was busy with a line, the coffee was out in less than 5 minutes and food in about 10. My only complaint is I wish i lived closer so i could become a regular!“
“This is a spectacular bakery that serves both sweet and savory pastries that will knock your socks off. There's no picture attached to this review because once I started my first bite I wasn't emotionally available to put it down. We ordered a raspberry danish type of pastry, and another with a flakier crust and caramelized onion with mushroom filling. The crusts were flavorful and wonderfully textured as well. I'm baffled that this place doesn't have lines out the door. Although we took our order to go, I'm certainly going to come back and enjoy the sitting area. It had a warm, vintage sensation that made me want to get comfortable, settle in with my London Fog, and read while looking out the spacious windows. Really it reminded me of the feeling I used to get when visiting my grandmothers house - it may seem a little fancy at first blush, but overall it is a cozy and welcoming space. The sweet woman who runs the place was so kind and made my drink extra hot to survive the walk home in the cold wind outside. I'm also 90% sure she's making these pastries by hand. She sent us on our way with a "stay safe" and a small smile. Wonderful experience!“
“I love TOPPOT!! It’s my favorite donut place and it’s the best ever!! Always happy and not getting tired with all the flavors!! Laura also makes me have the wonderful experience today! She is really friendly and patient with all of my question. Thank you so much! I will definitely go there again and again!!“
“Wow! What a sweet little place! The woman who served us was knowledgable and so friendly. She made our first experience here very pleasant. The Sweet Bliss original was HUGE and delicious. The small red velvet ones were also tasty. As an added bonus, not only is this little place cute from the outside, but it also has a very cozy little area right inside with a couple small tables to eat at.“
