“The mac salad is my favorite! Best Hawaiian food in Washington. Their Hawaiian beef is my go to, and the combo with the Huli huli chicken is a phenomenal deal. Don’t forget to get their sauces! Their sambal is amazing and the teriyaki is delicious as well.“

“This review is based on take out! I recommend you call ahead if you're interested in the Xinjiang Baked bread below as they may sold out end of the day. The staff were very polite as well, I read from other reviews it is under new management. The other dish was Xinjiang hand pulled rice (unfortunately I already ate half of it before taking the photos 😂 - it is good portion!). They have other dishes I'll have to come back and try, but these are popular recently.

Both dishes are cumin-forward and I love cumin, so I think they're flavorful. The lamb was prepared excellently as there was no gamey smell to it. The rice comes with chickpeas and also pickled/oily carrots (not pictured) which were very tasty with the rice.

The meat filling in the bread was really good,and the pastry was soft and filling. I do think it's a bit thicker than I'm used to, but I never really had Xinjiang food so you can disregard me on that.

Overall I will be visiting again, definitely plus points to the polite waitress and waiter, even giving me suggestions on how to reheat for optimum taste!“

“Went to the mock service event tonight and this place is EXCELLENT! The concept is easy, casual and incredible quality. We had a shared plate of crispy chicken bites with delicious dipping sauce. Tender chicken yet crispy and yummy! Then Beef Mala Tang soup. Make no mistake.... this is outstanding. The broth is crazy. Not to be outdone, then the Shrimp & Pork wonton soup... so good but my son ate most of it before I got my small portion he left me! Lastly, chicken fried rice. I recommend asking for the house made chili sauce if you like heat and flavor. I’ll be back many times!!!!!“

“I went in for the first time today for lunch after a pretty far walk from work. They are super nice, friendly and chatted with me a bit and explained their different menu options. The fried chicken was perfectly crisp yet perfectly moist; the short ribs were exquisite; the pot stickers and sushi were great. We loved our flavors, food, and experience and will always come back. “Came to Cheeky Cafe for Saturday brunch with my partner and were seated immediately - always a good start.

The space has high ceilings and a casual, slightly unpolished feel that actually works really well with the food. There's a big chalkboard menu at the counter, but they'll also hand you a paper menu, which I appreciated.

Between the two of us, we tried a lot: the loco moco meatloaf, carbonara, a slice of French toast, and the cinnamon fry bread. The carbonara was solid and comforting - a classic execution, nothing fancy. The loco moco meatloaf was fine on its own, but the curry-forward, Asian-influenced sauce is what made it shine.

The absolute standout, though, was the cinnamon fry bread. If you grew up on Asian fry bread, this will take you straight back. It genuinely made me happy, and I'd come back just for that alone.

Our waitress was sweet, attentive, and friendly throughout.

“5 stars — honestly, this place saved me! It was the only spot open around 10 p.m. on a Monday, and I was starving after nearly 12 hours without food.

“The texture, cor, taste, sauces, seasoning, moisture, softness of the chicken, the freshness of the vegetables, and the richness yet not too rich teriyaki sauce mixture is almost to die for! Previous Rate: I've never been disappointed in Haidilao!! Tram our waiter made a huge mistake.
Usually you'd come to see the robots bring your food to your table but she grabbed our food and brought it straight and I asked if she can bring the food with the robot because that was the whole purpose to eat at Haidilao! So disappointed. Also Tram didn't ask us to hurry up but mid way through our meal she brought our receipt and we didnt stop ordering but never had the issue at the Seattle or bellevue location...... I am truly upset & disappointed“

Definitely recommend the chicken of course, the mandu (fried dumplings), and the spring rolls. For drinks definitely try the Honey Citron Tea; AH-mazing! “This is my absolute favorite spot to pop in for a casual lunch. It’s a calm, very quiet spot. Super nice for getting a plate of sushi and taking a moment to breathe. I personally will just go in there and prop up my phone, and throw on a youtube video or podcast. The vibe is very similar to a japanese cafe, where you can sit on your own, do your own thing, and there is no judgement for wearing headphones or being on a laptop. Also nice to do work in. “I came here for lunch and ordered a hot matcha latte, a musubi, and the teriyaki chicken rice bowl — everything was so good. Matcha is usually hit-or-miss for me since it’s often not sweet, but this one didn’t need any sugar. It was perfect.

The rice bowl had a really interesting mix of ingredients, all delicious, and the musubi… wow. I could easily eat 100 of them. I usually don’t like black rice because people don’t cook it right, but theirs was done perfectly.

I’d highly recommend this place for a quick, tasty lunch. There’s limited seating, so unless you come during a quieter time, you may have trouble finding a spot. I came during a slower period and was able to set up my laptop and get some work done.

I haven’t tried the breakfast yet, but I have no doubt it would be just as good.“
