“I had the Satay Beef Noodle Soup and genuinely lovedddd it! Super hot and tasted delicious! It was definitely the first time I've ever tasted something like this. The service was wonderful, with the waiter being very accommodating and friendly! Will definitely come back again. The space was a little small, but we didn't have to wait at all to be seated.“
“I moved to ID just to be within walking distance of this amazing place. This is my favorite food in all of ID!!! There’s not a single bad dish on this entire menu. No matter what time you order or who’s working, it’s always fantastic. The meats are always cooked perfectly, the noodles exquisite and the quality of their veggies are S+ They’re very accommodating to food requests and the ladies up front are always so kind!“
“The service here was incredible. I honestly couldn’t believe it. My wife and I each ordered a bowl of wonton soup. The server was nice enough to tell us one bowl was enough for two. Also when the guy came out with the wonton soup he was nice enough to spoon some out into a separate bowl for each one of us. I love the people there!“
“We bought a live red king ? crab, a live finish and live swamp eels from the seafood market next to it. They helped cook all the seafood in whatever way you want, they even could cook the king crab in three ways, very tasty ? the fried noodles and veggies are delicious ?. Highly recommended!“
“HK style restaurant... Fried Pork chops were good...Their baked tomato pork rice (焗豬扒飯) is delicious, it's worth the wait time. The tomato sauce is just right, not too sour or sweet. The bottom fried rice is cooked very well (粒粒分明). The top layer of cheese is baked and melted into the sauce.“
“Busy, bustling atmosphere. EXCELLENT food, service was good. Really cool artwork on the walls, food is as authentic as I've ever had, the BBQ pork is their signature item.Only criticism would be that this area of Seattle is pretty sketchy. That's obviously not the restaraunts fault, though.“
“Poetic chaos. When you walk in during peak lunch time it is the exact vibe in HK where the server is running around and hosting, while bussing tables at the same time. They are somehow still very friendly and attentive. We ordered the pork belly and the French toast and both were just amazing. The braised pork belly was super tender and melted in my mouth. Each bite with the sauce and rice was just so satisfying. The French toast was nice and crispy but not soaked in oil. Can't wait to try their other signature HK dishes.“
“Adorable mom & pop place with classic tea house balcony and solid food. Staff was extremely friendly and food was tasty and freshly prepared. Good mix of dim sum staples and classic Hong Kong and Macau dishes like the baked casserole and coffee/tea mixed (if you really know HK diner food then you know this iconic beverage). Quiet and no wait so give them a try next time you're huddled outside next door!“
“Food was delicious and service attentive (dropped a chopstick due to clumsiness, immediately replaced by server). I always order eggplant in claypot when available, and this definitely hit the spot! The steamed egg was silky smooth and balanced out the savory flavours of the eggplant. Would recommend!“
“This is an up-beat place for dim-sum. Come early as people tend to lime up right around lunch time and there's quite a wait if you're late.Parking: Parking is very limited, you might need to walk a couple blocks if you want to park for free.“
“Oh. My. God. The chicken was amazing and juicy. Their egg tart is by far the best I have ever had, so much that I almost started to cry with happiness (seriously). On top of that, their staff were super kind and helpful. Definitely my new top spot!“
“great neighborhood chinese spot. got take out, and food was all done how you'd like it - full of flavor, cooked quickly in a wok to maintain texture of ingredients, and not overly greasy. reasonable prices and good options for any vegetarians in your group (just make sure to ask if things that look like vegetarian dishes have oyster sauce in them). the woman running the place is a sweetheart too. will definitely be back especially to try the lunch special and make this a regular takeout spot!“
“Great selection of desserts, staff are friendly, and nice place to sit. It's also one of the few places where the dessert reminds my mom of Hong Kong. We love their coconut puddings topped with sago, mango and chewy large tapioca balls and the mango purée with sago and mango pieces. My only complaints are 1) that they wait to serve the bubble waffles with the rest of the order, so they're only warm instead of hot if u have something else in the order, and 2) it's expensive. The desserts average $10 or more and they're just average size. Despite that, it's a great treat and we love going there.“
“My friend took me here because she swore it was her favorite noodle place in Seattle. And boy, it did not disappoint. I ordered, the pork and vegetable dumplings which were alright. And the beef Sichuan noodles (spicy).I normally enjoy a medium spice level but sheesh was this spicy (in the best way!). The broth was rich and spicy. So good that I ignored the spice and had to finish the bowl. I'm not a very big eater and I'd suggest sharing if you have the option.I did enjoy the fact that you can select a few toppings to customize your soup. Will be back again!“
“Great place for a quick Dim Sum treat. The items are not as abundant as you can get in a normal restaurant that serves dim sum, but there are still a lot to choose from. And you can find most of the signature dim sum dishes like shrimp dumplings, shumai, steam rice noodle rolls, sesame balls, etc. And the best thing about this place is you can order any quantity you'd like.“
“Simple food made well. Stopped in for some take out (that's the only option here), and found a diversmenu on the wall. Seems not everything is available, but my choice of chicken and duck on rice made the cut. I also had a choice of coke or sprite. That's it. They prepare the food right in front of you - don't get picky about boneless meat! They chop up your bird with hefty swings of a cleaver and ina few minutes, you're out the door. Aside from spitting rib bones once in a while, the food was great. Simple seasonings, simple presentation....and not screwed up in any way whatsoever. They even price things so that - after tax - your final prices are rounded to 00. I'll be back“
“The place is unassuming and the menu is diverse and has lots of specials that can be ordered days in advance. Everything was tasty but the bone in chicken I ordered wasn’t typical bone in it was chopped into chunks roughly through the bones so there were a lot of small bone fragments which made it difficult to eat and I wouldn’t recommend for small children or those with orthodontics at all for this reason. The chestnuts were slightly underdone as well. The green beans and rice were excellent and I appreciated the tea served with the meal“
“This is my favorite dim sum spot in the entire Seattle area! There’s also a massive selection, I’ve tried countless dishes, yet still haven’t tried everything. A few of my favorites are anything with shrimp (so many different options) the broccoli and their dessert buns. Yum.If you’re looking for an amazing dim sum brunch spot, try this place out and be ready to wait in line for a bit, it’s no secret how delicious it is!“
“This is a good Chinese Food restaurant. They have a very large menu to include an extensive seafood menu. You can order live fish and seafood, and have it cooked to order. This is a great place to get late night eats, they’re open till 3:30am on the weekends.“
“Small mom and pop shop dishing out amazing food that'll rival those in Garden Grove and Houston!! Deep broth flavor, delicious dumplings and tender brisket!Yes, I was asked to share a table since myself and the other person there was by ourselves but the host did ask before seating us together. Neither of us mind and it made for an enjoyable meal. Kindness kills no one.Only complaint I have was not ordering a larger bowl, but that'd on me. I'll definitely be back soon!!“
“The rice rolls are pretty good, rather glutinous and not authentic rice noodles. The leek dumplings are meaty and a bit greasy, so it’s okay to eat them with some vinegar. The black sesame paste is not very delicate, almost the same as making it at home. The soup was just average, I won’t order it again.“
“Amazing food and service! I fell asleep after work (meant to get dinner before PC closed) but I was starving and it was Friday night after working 60 hours at an auto body shop so I was STARVING. I only had 10 minutes till they closed. I called and the super nice woman who works the front desk promised to wait till I got there so I could get my dinner. They are fast, friendly, and the food is amazing. PLUS, you get a free egg roll and bowl of soup with every meal! Best teriyaki/Chinese place in all of Kenmore/Bothell area!“
“Yummy food and generous portions! We came to this place around noon on a Sunday. We ordered claypot spicy beef rice noodle, wonton Sui-Kau Noodle soup, and Salt Pepper fried chicken. All tatses pretty good and homey! I'd recommend trying the claypot noodle if you want to try something more flavorful beyond the general canton dishes. It comes in different soup options: spicy, tomato, golden hot and sour etc. and it has loads of toppings including fish balls, beef balls, corns, ham, greens, etc. The service is very nice.“
“Best place for family style dinner. The variety of food is amazing!! The seating capacity is quite good. A/V quality needs to be improved but manageable. Their menu is quite big and the location is picture perfect- right on the Lake Union with tons of free parking.“
“2 hour free parking on the 3rd & 4th floor garage is a big plus for a restaurant in Seattle's Chinatown - 1) you're not worried about finding $5/hr street parking with bums nearby & 2) a 6 car event is easy.Joyale Restaurant on 2nd floor has delicious food with big portions and good prices. Good Dim Sum service too.Restaurant is Big and can handle large parties & banquets. Same owners as the old Joy Palace on MLK & Graham St (now Ding Feng)“
“Phenomenal. This is what makes Seattle wonderful. Even without asking the server brought out dishes in the proper order, tea was offered immediately upon arrival. Promptly seated, all of the vegetables in each of the dishes was cooked to perfection and the tofu and egg were flawless and custardy. The shrimp and spinach dumplings were marinated in broth and very flavorful. It takes a lot to get five stars out of me, but this place delivered.Vegetarian options: Server is happy to answer questions about the contents of sauces.Dietary restrictions: Transparent“
“This is my favorite place when I’m craving home cooked Chinese meals! I love their dim sum and congee, and their lunches are delicious. The duck bento and chow fun are our lunch faves, and they make great congee with fried dough and dim sum. My absolute favorite is their steamed rice rolls which is rare to find in Kirkland and they make it traditionally and fresh!“
