“I grabbed the crispy cod sandwich on the way home, it was exceptionally good and crispy. They put the garnish on the side and the 2 pieces of cod stay crisp! Travels home well. Definitely coming back here, and the fries are seasoned and crispy too. Total 5 stars! Update: I came back the next day too! My new favorite place for crispy cod sandwiches.“

“As a professional wedding planner, I had the great joy of working a wedding here in August of 2023 and I was BLOWN AWAY by this venue, not only for it's views and architecture but also by it's company culture, customer service and love for clients. I have added this venue to our VIP Venue list for 2024+2025 which grants their clients a $200 discount on all wedding planning packages simply because we can't wait to work at this venue again!“

“I recently visited Ivars and had a fantastic experience. The fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked—lightly battered and crispy on the outside, yet flaky and tender on the inside. I opted for the classic cod, and it did not disappoint. The chips were equally impressive—golden, crispy, and seasoned just right.“

“This place is super yummy. It is a casual restaurant where you order at the counter and then sit wherever you like. They have a large selection of seafood plates and a variety of sides. My food was fried perfectly and fresh. There is also all the sauces you would need and lemons. I highly recommend checking this place out if you want affordable yummy seafood.“

“Our party of 3, including a 6yr old, arrived just as they opened. The new owner served us personally, told us the special oysters available and let us review. When the 6yr girl ordered the oysters, he didn't question it! He treated my granddaughter as a customer, asking if she wanted anything g to drink besides water. He made sure to look at us for confirmation but didn't treat her as a child. the oysters and fish&chips were fresh, delicious, and well made. The prices were very reasonable, the portions were sufficient, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Definitely will be back again.“

“It looked like a fast food at first l, which was a bit confusing.
But after adjusting to that I can say food is very good and made with no mistakes.
After my meal I understood the place serves much better food then it looks.“
