“Excellent place for Korean style fried chicken and other dishes. A small place that can get busy, so plan accordingly. We had the honey rice cakes, chicken strips and regular fried chicken, all were very good. Portions were also good. We got half sizes of the boneless and regular chicken and was more than enough for the 4 of us.“

“From ordering to receiving order does take 15-20 minutes. This chicken is hot, juicy, and delicious. Worth the wait.
Kid-friendliness: Chicko Meal is breaded, fried chicken pieces, fries and a drink. Works for a quick meal for my 11 yo.
Wheelchair accessibility: Close to ADA Parking. Restaurant is spacious. Tables are appropriately sized for assistive devices. Bathroom isn’t as accessible.“

“Pleasantly surprised by this spot. Went in because the Mediterranean place I was going to try next door was super slow to even acknowledge me.
Friendly and chill guy, very generous amount of meat and it tasted good. I got the spicy chicken. They also have brown rice to sub and a couple Korean dishes and sides of kimchi for sale. If you’re looking for a quick and easy teriyaki spot, it’s definitely one of the better ones. I’ll be coming back for sure“

“I had. The tonkatsu ramen here a few years ago, I think it has changed hands since. Today I ordered the Shibu ramen (kimchi) and enjoyed it very much. The broth and kimchi were the stars of this ramen bowl. They also sell canning jars of the fresh kimchi. The ramen is definitely worth trying if you’ve not had it before.“

“Soy garlic chicken was pretty tasty, well cooked, and good flavor but surprised the “bowl” didn’t come with rice. FYI the side of rice is instant rice… nonetheless the value for the bowl size is great- so much chicken! Could’ve shared a regular size bowl with 2 people.
Two standing tables only- more a grab and go type place. Wish they had more proper seating and fresh rice options included.“

“We accidently found this restaurant and so glad we did. The food was exceptional and very inexpensive for the quality and service. The beef bulgogi pot stickers and tempura prawns were the best we have found in WA yet. Even though I am not a fan of spicy food - the Rose Combo (sorry I forgot the name) was the best flavor I have ever had. Thank you! We highly recommend this restaurant.“

“December 31, 24 I really enjoyed it.
rice. side dish. Jjige... (I haven't tried it, but other menu items as well) are great for competing with steamed Korean food. Seattle Korean food is the best here!! Can you see that it’s completely empty haha?“

“I’ve been craving a good gukbap for many months and finally got a chance to go for my birthday, which happened to be a gloomy day. I got the Grandpa’s Pig Bone Soup, which is basically just a bowl of goodness. It comes with meat and veggies in a thick broth. I asked for extra spice on the side, which is perfect if you love a kick. Also, add some more salt to taste if needed. My family also ordered meat for kbbq, which is good as well. We went on a weekday in the afternoon after lunch and before dinner time, so there was no one else in the restaurant and we were fully able to enjoy ourselves ? For me, I would most definitely go back for the gukbap and to try their other dishes on the menu!!“

“Excellent food. NOTE that it's a market, not dining, and is essentially a TO GO kitchen, much is refrigerated, offering specialty food. Korean side dishes.
I'm not an expert on this cuisine and so I received kind help from the staff.
I bought fresh vegetable side dishes: spicy pickled radish/kimchi dish, sweet slightly hot potato--awesome, a crunchy mung bean dish, and a spinach with garlic dish.
Perfect flavors. No funky dirty vegetables, all carefully prepared and gently seasoned. Will go again.
Served with hot rice --brown rice this time-- at home.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, all first floor“

“So happy a dedicated jokbal/bossam restaurant opened. The jokbal I ordered was delicious, with the proper fragrance and seasoningThe single serving was huge, more than enough for two people. Three people would satisfied with extra lettuce, garlic, shrimp sauce, and samjang. They didn’t try to deceive with a lot of bones. Service is fast, packaging was somewhat eco friendly with paper instead of plastic.“

“I've tried a few dishes here and there, and each time I pick up my order, the sweet lady always remembers the smallest details. And not too mention, EVERYTHING I've had was delicious! A great spot to pick up good bites and take to the park or to Stoups or home.
Kid-friendliness: Outdoor seating, small menu bites.“

“I visited a few days ago, and the kimchi stew was truly a work of art. I asked for it to be extra spicy, and it was spicy, spicy, and delicious. I didn't add any other strange ingredients, just pork kimchi, onions, and tofu, and it was really delicious! The side dishes included seasoned bean sprouts, spinach, green onion pancakes, stewed potatoes, and kimchi, which were really nice!“

“The spot is definitely on the price your side for Korean barbecue but the meat quality was really good and we actually got the meat combo for two and it was perfect amount for three people. We got a bunch of different sides. The banchan was the only disappointing part really not a lot of flavor. Their potato salad was extremely dry.“

“Had a great meal at this little Korean spot in the international district! We got the ddukbokki (wanted the special but they were out) and the spicy pork bulgogi rice bowl. Everything tasted great. The server was super nice as well. They give you free banchan as well (small side dishes). Interior was nothing to write home about but it was clean enough and they had bathrooms.
Parking: In the international district so not a ton of parking depending on what time you go. We walked there.“

“Love the Chicken Karaage Don with citrus shoyu instead of spicy aioli here! Great egg-free/fish-free option :)
The folks working here are super friendly too! Thanks for all the wonderful lunches.
Also looking forward to S sized sweater if those ever come in stock.

“Great atmosphere and service! Atmosphere is good given it's clean and new. Food was tasty and the small dishes (banchan) was refillable. Hit all the right notes. This was the BBQ short rib (kalbi) and Nakdol. Enough good food for two. Service felt prompt with the brown rice tea and refill of the banchan. Not pictured is the small fried fish it came with. Good value in this area and would recommend! Our service was a tall white lady, very polite! Will return on cold dark Seattle winters.“

“Very good and filling bento lunch from a cute yet modern hole-in-the-wall type place. Not to mention the price is very reasonable for downtown Seattle so you get your money’s worth! I’d recommend ordering ahead as it gets busy during lunch. Also they’re not messing around when it comes to their spicy katsu.“

“The food was excellent and the portions are generous. I had the spicy chicken and was very pleased. I only wished that they had recommended bowls you could order if you don’t feel like building your own. But all in all, the service was wonderful and I can’t wait to go back.“

“I went in semi naive to what was on the menu. Nothing stands out. You order at the counter. Understand that the dishes are larger to feed 2-3 people and their are no sides. Meaning if you like rice with your Asian cuisine it will be extra. Not realizing the size of the dishes I ordered 5 things and 2 sodas and a beer and 2 sides of rice which are small 1 person small and I spent with tip close to 140$+
It is in a strip mall so this is not meant to be fancy. Think small cafeteria style. Of the dishes the on that stood out for me was the chili shrimp. Otherwise pretty generic stuff. Beef had a diffrent texture to it that didn't suit me well. But if your into Asian cuisine make your own opinion. I more then likely won't go back. Quality of food for the money not a win for me.“

“The friendly staff made the meal very enjoyable. We had baby back ribs, wagyu beef, cuddly kale, beef tartare and a bottle of soju. The beef tartare was flavored with sesame oil and tasted very Korean influenced. The duck fried rice was also great! Overall lovely and delicious! The only downside is that you need to walk through the hotel lobby and upstairs to get to the restrooms.“

“If you want an unapologetic Korean restaurant with specialties not found anywhere else like sundae, and bosaam go here. Tables are authentic to Korea complete with napkins and chopsticks under the table. Only downside is the bulgugi is one of the worst. Dry and tough, although it seems only to exist for people too intimidated by the authetic menu.“

“Quick update: I heard that now the owner has changed. I am updating my review wishing the best for the new owner :)

The server is very RUDE. She will call you up after checkout and comment about the amount of tip you pay. And our order was mixed up too. Highly recommend not to go there.“

“I came for the tteokbokki at the u district food walk. It was very good: spicy, hot, and rich. I didn't love that the default ordering system is from a giant screen instead of a person. There were people at the cash register, and they were quite friendly when I ordered from them instead. The interior is nice. I would come back!“

“Basic deli. But really good food. I had the pork bowl. Cucumber topping was really good. Everything was as expected. Good lunch bowl for a good price. The surprising find was the rice cakes. A little spicy, a little sweet. Highly recommend those, and I'll definitely go back if nothing more than for those. Nothing fancy but clean. No problem for a lunch stop, but don't expect an atmosphere. I always think it's odd to have to rate a place like this for the atmosphere.“

“A very solid place for good traditional Korean soups. I had the spicy beef soup and was very happy. The place is not trendy and looked to attract a very local crowd. Prices were inline with other Korean restaurants. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other soup selections.“

“I had the pleasure of feasting at this venue recent. I was accompanied by a gorgeous date and hosted by our A1 server Nico.
Throughout the meal, he provided reassurance that he'd be attentive to cooking EVERYTHING. He truly wasn't kidding. I'd go back just to have Nico station the grill again. 11 out of 10. Great experience.“

“Had takeaway from here, I ordered the katsu nembi deopbab.
I love the organizer. Food was SO HOT even after I got home. Honestly, everything was excellent. Their soup is odengtang, not miso — really refreshing, and it complemented the dish so well.“
“Seriously, I've never had a better server. She memorized our 5 orders with drinks and appetizers perfectly. She checked-in just the right amount and brought us stuff before we even knew we needed it. Amazing customer service is still alive and well here. The food was amazing too. The chicken is wonderful the sides were unique and tasty as were the drinks. I brought family from out of town and they were beyond impressed. 5 stars deserves 10 stars.“

“I have no idea of what I ordered when I came here but there are no complaints. I am told that a Mother-Son combination runs this restaurant and that they have been doing this for years.
I had a Peach Soju, kimichi stew, and some type of Hot Pot combination. The food was good. The Peach Soju was better. It is only 12% and tastes like soda.“

“So delicious! I have tried the fried chicken, the spicy chicken sandwich, and the bulgogi bowl. All were made to order, flavorful, with great texture! Their chicken sandwich is particularly addictive, with a spicy sauce, light and crispy chicken, and tasty slaw. Writing this is making me hungry!“

“Very fun place! Food was yummy and great service! Our waiter was a taller young man and he was very attentive and friendly, but everyone there was great! It’s all you can eat, with a limit of 2 hours which I find reasonable for all you can eat, plus everything comes out super fast so barely any wait! Lots of side options as well and they’re all great (also included in all you can eat). Also note that meat you don’t eat will cost you an extra $25 but that keeps ppl from over ordering. Sides are fine tho they can be leftover. Music was popping!! Fun time for sure“
