“Had food from here around a year ago and loved it so I took my partner here recently. The tacos were excellent and my partner although a meat eater was very impressed but the rice and beans were lacking seasoning and were very bland compared to my last visit maybe they had a new person who just forgot the salt or spices? The lady who took my order was very welcoming and kind, and provided excellent customer service during a very busy time! (She took the time to apologize to me when someone skipped the line, and that made me feel important as a customer.) “I gobbled the tacos as if it was my last day on earth lol, REALLY delicious food. We work nearby and love getting tacos from here. From the family cooking to the food, everything is perfect.

I had the taco plate with Carnitas. Served with Mexican Rice and Pinto Beans this plate was enough for two people (or one hungry person). The Chips and Salsa are handmade and have a lime and salt flavor. The salsa is delicious and a tad spicy. My wife had the Pollo Quesadilla and it was super flavorful as well. The Passionfruit Agua Fresca was so good and brought the meal together nicely.

Go grab yourself a great meal at Sophie's Tacos you won't regret it!

“We did the 4 PC chicken and small chicken strips and it was delicious. Great flavor of the potato salad and homemade tartar sauce was perfect. It was a lot of food and well worth the drive there from our house. staff was friendly. Smells wonderful inside. We'll be back again for sure.“

“I had the veggie green wet burrito recently. The food was tasty and the service friendly. I wish the veggie burrito had fajita veggies or avocado or something apart from rice, beans and cheese. The cost was the same and the meat was just excluded. The habenero salsa that I tried with the burrito and the green sauce on the burrito were both delicious.“

“One of the best places you can go. The hours change because of it is not getting enough business on 8th they can't afford to have the second truck there.

If you have never stopped by, I can assure you that the quality of the food, the customer service, it's truly the best around. And you get to support a local family operated business. “I've been going to Taqueria El Asadero for over 12 years. During that time, I've tried several other taco trucks, and recently, there's been a few opening up on Rainier Avenue, which I did try. While these have good food, they don't come close to El Asadero's delicious food. They don't even compare. I've tried many of their dishes over the years which all have been so good with great quality. The birria burrito, though, is my all time favorite. The only criticism I had in the past was the amount of fat in the birria (which never stopped me from ordering it). Though, in the last year or two, I've noticed that has changed. I'm rarely picking fat out of the meat. So, if you are looking for a Taco truck with the most delicious food and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend you go to El Asadero. You won't regret it.“

I ordered brisket with mac & cheese and potato salad and my friend ordered the bacon & blues burger with a brisket add on and talk about mouth watering! We also ordered the fried pickle jar and highly recommend that appetizer! We saved our leftovers for the next day and it went just as hard! Amazing hospitality from this establishment and the vibe was so country it felt like we were back home in Texas! Samosa chaat, bhel puri, vada, idli, Bombay sandwich….maybe I should just write most of the menu here (although never had their indo-Chinese)…all very very good. Not many places in SLU you can just pop in for a quick affordable meal. Parking is easy on that side of Fairview too.“
