“Meesha truly brings together the flavors of India with a modern twist. We started with the Bengali Chicken Cutlet, Amritsari Choley Kulcha, and the Street Food Platter, each dish was packed with authentic flavors and beautifully presented.

For the mains, the Indo-Chinese Chilli Chicken had the perfect balance of spice and flavor, while the Railway Mutton Curry was rich, tender, and comforting. The Kulcha Bread paired perfectly with the curry.

To wash it all down, we tried the Anar Shikanji and the Amrud (Guava) drink, both were refreshing, unique, and the perfect complement to the meal.

“Its a pretty quiet restaurant. The waitstaff is attentive but very unintrusive. I love the butter chicken and the chicken tiki masala, with the rice and the plain naan. I see a lot of people getting take out and not many diners when I go. They are closed between 4 and 5, Ive heard they have a buffet, but I haven't been able to ever make it.“

“We thought we would try this great Indian restaurant in North East Seattle and and glad we did-it's really super good! We ordered curried goat, lamb vindaloo extra spicy- raita, stuffed kulcha, basmati and brown rice and I have two glasses of Indian wine, one rose and one Cabernet. I especially love the rosé. The chef came out to talk to us afterward and told us that the goat is fresh from a local butcher. And all of his food are traditional Indian. He was a most friendly and nice person.“

“Today was our first time visiting Seattle and we were craving some Indian food. Taste of Indian did NOT disappoint me. The Tikka masala and naan were phenomenal. The service was also amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was also very relaxed and welcoming. I was given a complimentary refill of my reisling and they also give you a little slice of cheesecake at the end of your meal. Whether you are going for a date night or a family meal, this place is a perfect option. If we are ever visiting Seattle again, we will be returning to this spot!“

“This is such a wonderful, sweet, family-owned restaurant. I've been eating here for more than 15 years and highly recommend it. I've hosted birthday dinners in one of the side rooms, and come to celebrate many occasions with their delicious food. I mainly used to get the Indian food, like the tandoori dishes, thaalis, and malai kofta. Of late, I've been trying more of the Nepali food, especially the samai baaji, which is completely unique, and impossible to find in Seattle. The owners are always so kind and friendly, it's a true community place. I hope they stay in business forever.“

I bring friends and family visiting from out of town here every time! It is my favorite in Seattle. It may seem pricey, average for Seattle, but really good sized portions as I always have leftovers for the next meal. Spice can vary depending on who is in the kitchen that day but the medium usually holds true to the typical spice levels found around Seattle.“

“We were visiting Seattle from New York, so we searched on Google and found the best reviews of Shahana Steakhouse. We decided to stop by for the Ramadan Buffet (we visited a couple more restaurants in Seattle), so the best Iftar buffet and the out-of-class service in the Seattle area is here, with excellent customer service and a perfectly managed buffet. I noticed they were crazy busy on weekdays. The restaurant was full of people, and there was a long line; the staff served dates in the line and continued filling the dishes with food, even for families that were joining very late. Everything was fresh and warm, including their delicious pizza, fried chicken, and tikka boti. I loved Shahi Tukray; you must try it if you are there for a buffet. They even served the food at the tables for the customers who came in later. They came to us twice at our table to serve the food. Everything was very well set up, and there was fantastic management. I am going there for suhoor/breakfast and will let you all know about the homemade parathas and omelets. Stay tuned.“

I ordered the coconut chicken curry and the wife ordered the mango chicken curry. We both shared a garlic naan. All the dishes were AMAZING. Good vegetable options were available, we tried the Paneer Hariyali(grilled and not fried) and it was very tasty; also other vegetable food was great and tasty. “Have eaten here for years and never taken the time to review but now's the time! Huge menu, food is very flavorful with generous portions (including the buffet), but perhaps most importantly the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and efficient (it's difficult to get to the bottom of your water glass as they are always returning to fill it up!) Suel is particularly friendly with a good sense of humor! We love Masala and give it our highest recommendation without hesitation!“

“The food is ok. Nothing extra ordinary, but its really difficult for me to understand why they add 18% tips by default. Even for group of 4 or just one person for that matter. Price of food really on higher side with minimum quantity. Another thing is you cant split a bill. So on one table they only accept one credit card. This place is not for celebrating with friends for that reason.“

“The place was very busy, this may cause a variety of unwanted situations some of which are caused by customers themselves. We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. While we waited we checked the menu and ordered our food which came to us nice and hot and without much waiting. We found the service to be very good and the food was excellent. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. Everything was good and we can say this is a great place for Indian food. Will return.“
