“I stopped in for a last minute brunch and they were able to get me seated really quickly. I had the chicken fried steak and it was great! The warm bread while I waited was an unexpected, but nice surprise. You don’t see that a lot in the PNW. The service was excellent and very attentive. I will be back!“

“This place is awesome. Took My Wife there for a quick anniversary lunch while our kid was at camp, owner randomly bought us some shots for our anniversary and chatted with us. The staff were excellent, we didn’t wait for a single refill or anything. The food was incredible, I was actually shocked at how good it was. Cannot wait to go back, about 10 more things on the menu I need to try. Drinks were yummy🙌 our new favorite place for dates.“

“Decent size space - dining room, bar seating and patio. Super busy for a Monday night! Tapped burger was very small, but filling. Highly recommend mixing a side of bbq and garlic aioli for the best fry or tot sauce you’ve ever had! Even dipped my burger in it. Order at the bar before sitting down. No one came by to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything so not really the best service despite having a lot of staff. Good selection of draft beers and lots of canned options.

“I have always loved the Cut Shop! staff and ownership have always been wonderful. a couple employees have been undesirable but have gone. I will say i was sadden and my kids were disappointed when they did away with the scavenger hunt. that was a really cool and unique activity. We splurged on dessert: the chocolate tart and crème brute. We tried eachothers and wow. They were both amazing. “Emory's on Silver Lake is a gem! I recently had their fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly crispy and flavorful. I also tried the pink rose cocktail, which was a delightful complement to the meal. The location is fantastic, right next to the water with plenty of parking. I especially enjoyed sitting outside by the fireplace, creating a cozy and scenic atmosphere. The servers were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend Emory's for a great meal and a relaxing ambiance!“

“We had lunch at Cedar & Elm a few months ago and had a great experience. But Christmas lunch today was a major disappointment. The website said “choose from either our five-course tasting menu or our regular menu”. We arrived for our 1:30 reservation, were seated late and then told only the brunch menu was available. :(“

“This was our first visit for our 30th anniversary. We were not disappointed. Prices are somewhat high, but, what the heck, you only have one 30th anniversary. The food was wonderful. Although I would have liked a bit more halibut and a bit less pasta. My husband had the seafood linguini that was very tasty. The crab cake was great for the two of us. I was surprised to be paying for bread though. They served a delish peach cake for an anniversary treat. The service was great. The ambiance was delightful with great background music that was in the background. Overall a 4.5 out of 5.“

We started with some delicious cocktails--they had interesting concoctions with better-than-usual liquors. Delish! His hamburger came truly medium-rare, with avocado, cheese and bacon, and the meat flavor was excellent--so many restaurant hamburgers are ruined with poor quality meat. The straw fries were great, served with an amazing aioli that also made the hamburger pop! I ordered the salade nicoise, and it may be the best one I've ever eaten (and I make amazing salads, if I do say so myself). ;) The service was excellent and timely. The ambiance is fine--you're eating in a department store, so the music was pop-y and the decor fine. We appreciated having a booth (which my husband loves). We didn't know the area and we were dressed in jeans, so were surprised when we arrived at such a fancy place! We were hesitant to go in, but glad we did as the the place was beautiful, the bartender friendly & kind, and the the drinks delicious!“

The food is touch expensive for the quality. However I'll start with the AMAZING: Brussels Sprouts appetizer. Wow it was good. The Seafood Thai was REALLY good too. Muscles are top notch

The Baja fish tacos are fine...but honestly Taco Time tastes better.

The dishes that are not great are the following: Chicken pesto gnocchi felt akin to something if get in the frozen food isle...bland pesto and meh gnocchi. The quinoa bowl was just darn ugh by being one dimensional: spicy...with dry chicken. It has so much potential by being served with a lime creama, black beans, and avocado. I decided to just take it all home to fix it.

Overall we will certainly be back but will be more cautious with the dishes. They seem to do seafood very nicely 👌“

“This is the best breakfast / brunch place you will find in 50 miles. The peanut butter pie, the pie just in general it is another level. The eggs benedict is world class. The staff is super sweet, It is my go-to when friends come to town and want breakfast or brunch. I would recommend this to anybody. You will not be disappointed.“

“I can’t say enough great things about the staff here. My grandparents used to stay here every summer while traveling from Arizona after they sold their home here. My grandpa passed away recently and the staff treats my grandma so well. It means so much to our family that she has such a great experience here. Matt in the bar is so friendly and makes the best drinks and the food is always amazing (the salmon Caesar is my favorite but everything is good). Thank you everyone“
