“I’ve eaten here multiple times, and every time I am more impressed. The staff is attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. The self service beer is fun. But the food is what keeps me coming back. My only complaint is that the food is actually so good that I find myself over eating to the point my eyes are bulging out of my head, and then I still order dessert. If you haven’t eaten here yet, do yourself a favor and try it out!“

“Nat our server was absolutely exceptional. We had a large birthday party on the patio and we can’t say enough great things about Nat and how well they handled our party. “My wife and I stumbled across this gem by accident and I couldn't be happier we did. Great atmosphere, a deep bar if you're into alcohol, fabulous service, but above all, the butchery. I didn't take a photo of my wife's NY steak, which was excellent, but I did take one of my 9oz coulotte which was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. The crushed potatoes are also not to be missed, cannot recommend this place highly enough!“

We are big brewery, and taproom people and we were able to have the best time with the best hospitality. “Lovely vinyl bar that actually SPINS VINYL!!!!!!! Love their selection of wine / cider / beer with plenty options available from tap. We were just coming from Copine next door so we didn't order any food but I bet their foods are just as tasty! I can't wait to come back for drinks and munchies. The vibes inside are just right for enjoying music, boardgames/doodling with friends or just chatting. They have beautiful garage windows that open up as a patio space where doggos are welcome to hangout as well. I personally LOVED their vinyl/fridge section and the color pencils / sketchbooks they had by the boardgames. It was a serendipitous moment to have found this bar while walking around.“

“I'm going to be honest I judged the book by it's cover again and boy was I wrong for doing so. I have been on a forever hunt for finding more dole whip in the Seattle area at a place other than Menchies, it's always the most perfect, delicious, and refreshing treat. And may I tell you this was legitimately the best dole whip I have had in my entire life. And this is coming from a dole whip connoisseur I have had dole whip everywhere even at Disney but nothing tops this. It tasted like a sour fluffy soft cloud that melted in my mouth and could never recommend the dole whip here enough. Aside from the dole whip the place was absolutely awesome as well, we were able to sit at the bar and sample flavors of ginger beer in order to make our decision. The bar tender was super cool and kind also super helpful in our decision on flavors This place is like a bar for kids knowing Ginger Beer has no actual alcohol and being able to sit at the bar for a cool experience even as a minor. I feel this place is a perfect place to come for a treat especially with kids knowing they can get ginger beer or soft serve and you can treat yourself to a nice cocktail! Also wanted to mention their attached to a really good looking chicken place that caught my attention. I 100000% recommend this place and will be back soon to get more dole whip and try some fried chicken!!“

“Skål Beer Hall provides the atmosphere it markets: a Nordic, viking-esque aura mixed with the chill vibe of a bar. The decorations, wooden architecture, and dim lighting invokes a feeling of relaxation after a long day of hunting.Food at Skål was decent -- there is little variety, but certainly a few unique dishes to try. Specifically the venison and pork belly skewers are a must. It took just one bite to taste the abundance of flavor.Drink choices are solid as well; the blonde ale I had tasted fine. Prices are a little high, but in line with Ballard expectations.One unique note are the various Viking-themed board games available to play. There is a large collection to select from, and provide great entertainment for a party intending on drinking and chatting out into the night.Overall, I recommend Skål Beer Hall as a great place for gathering in general, and even more so for (Nordic)themed ones.“

“Ravenna brewing is the boss. They have only a few taps but some very solid drips. The bourbon vanilla stout should, if it has not already, win awards. The hazy IIPA tonight was good as well. “Always delightful to check out their selection. I love that you can sit outside at the heated patio if you don't want to be inside. They're also dog friendly (they don't serve food, just have rotating food trucks). I am sober-ish and I'm always able to find root beer or kombucha available for those days I want zero alcohol.“

Couches, tables, barstools, wifi; upstairs there's more tables and couches, plus games and a pool table. No kids, 21 and older only. No food, but food trucks almost every day. And damn good beer. They have at least 25 on tap, moat they make themselves. Plenty of parking too. Bring your own food, or get it from food trucks or nextstore. Truly "come as you are" and bring your dog, too.“

“My wife and I can’t in 6 minutes before they close. After debating with the man from the register he finally convinced us to order. My wife and i felt so bad but he urged us to order. If the blackboard does not appeal, the various cans in the cooler may have your thirst quencher.The Beertenders are knowledgeable and friendly. Every Friday a different food truck visits - their web page has a schedule. The place is a little on the small side and fills up quickly. The street patio will open in the summer and it is nice to enjoy a beer out in the open.“

“I can't say enough good things about this place. They were so nice and the food was incredible. We were in town from Denver and stopped here for lunch. We had the Frango a Passarinho and Brazilian Churrasco Especial. It was so good I wanted to go back the next day but couldn't make it happen. The Black Beans with smoked Pork Sausage, and Brazilian style potato salad are delicious. I smashed a Caipirinha as well. Can't wait until they sell their hot sauce. “This is a canonical casual neighborhood gathering place. If it's not raining too hard, the outdoor seating area is brimming with young families and dogs. The indoor seating skews less chaotic.They have a gazillion kinds of beer, several ciders, and a few wines.The food comes from a rotating cast of food trucks in the front lot.I gave it 5 stars because it is exactly what it appears to be. If you're looking for table service, cloth napkins and metal cutlery, go somewhere else. If you want a fermented beverage, something yummy from a food truck, and maybe a place where kids can run a little on the loose side while you have a beer, this is a great spot.“

“Alive with friends, it is a quintessential local watering hole. The food is okay, but a few tweaks could help it. For example the hamburger comes on a roll that is too big, usually dry, hard, and simply doesn't add to the experience, no matter how much care goes into the patty. In general the menu is tired and doesn't get much attention, even though it is a big part of the ale house. There is a new place going in across the street, related to Ridgewood by the Red Mill Burger joint. Competition is welcome and needed, but I feel the pricing at the new place will be high, like Ridgewood, and the regular Ale House crowd will stay put. The Ale House clientele seems to be in the 50s. I like it in general, now lean more on the tap beers and eat before coming in.“

The owner was also there she was amazing and made us aware of their new location in Mountlake Terrace which I plan on going to soon. Very friendly and great vibe and energy.
