“Went to lunch there today with my friend. The food was delicious, I had the chicken tikka, Mediterranean salad, and chai. My friend had chicken vindaloo with garlic naan. The mango lemonade tasted like summer! The food was so delicious and flavorful! I highly recommend!“

“Simply amazing Authentic Nepalese food that will make you go YUM! We came across this place driving down Aurora. Having been to Nepal a few tines we have great memories and love Nepalese food. Man this was the real deal. You may not think much driving by, but you cannot dispute authentic delicious Nepalese food. Service was awesome too. Reasonable prices. I had the chicken Thukpa extra spicy. The chicken breast was tender and marinated to perfection. The spices were flavorful Nepalese traditional. I cannot wait to go back. Check it out. I promise you won’t be disappointed It’s right next to the Crown Inn.“

“Overall a really great experience. The food was fantastic and the service was great. The only issue I have was the 22% service charge added. The service charge is added, then when you pay, the machine asks for a tip. The food isn't cheap, and I thought that was very excessive. The restaurant states: "*A 22% service charge is added to every party. Meesha retains 100% of this charge. It is used to pay commissions, provide benefits, and most importantly provide a living wage to our entire staff." I have no issue with a living wage, but this cost should be rolled into the price of the food.“

Amarjit aujla is the great chef i am impressed by his cooking and the way he cooks naan and tandoori chicken is fantastic and he having cooking experience of 25 years. “We thought we would try this great Indian restaurant in North East Seattle and and glad we did-it's really super good! We ordered curried goat, lamb vindaloo extra spicy- raita, stuffed kulcha, basmati and brown rice and I have two glasses of Indian wine, one rose and one Cabernet. I especially love the rosé. The chef came out to talk to us afterward and told us that the goat is fresh from a local butcher. And all of his food are traditional Indian. He was a most friendly and nice person.“

“Today was our first time visiting Seattle and we were craving some Indian food. Taste of Indian did NOT disappoint me. The Tikka masala and naan were phenomenal. The service was also amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was also very relaxed and welcoming. I was given a complimentary refill of my reisling and they also give you a little slice of cheesecake at the end of your meal. Whether you are going for a date night or a family meal, this place is a perfect option. If we are ever visiting Seattle again, we will be returning to this spot!“

“I have visited this restaurant with my friends on Friday evening. Nice hospitality and service, should give 5 start for it. Good vegetable options were available, we tried the Paneer Hariyali(grilled and not fried) and it was very tasty; also other vegetable food was great and tasty. I also tried their Goat Biryani and found to be ok compared to other restaurant, definitely suggest to improve on Biryani taste.“

“I am in town for the week, and the lady I am covering for her vacation recommended me eating at the Claypit. I am SO glad she did. However, I almost didn't come because, when I Googled it, there was a message that it was cash only. But I had been eyeing their menu and wanted to try them out, so I got some cash and came on in. As it turns out, they must have been an old message because I was able to pay with a credit card. The food was excellent, arrived in a timely manner, and the wait staff were super friendly and helpful. “The place was very busy, this may cause a variety of unwanted situations some of which are caused by customers themselves. We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. While we waited we checked the menu and ordered our food which came to us nice and hot and without much waiting. We found the service to be very good and the food was excellent. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. Everything was good and we can say this is a great place for Indian food. Will return.“

“Love their dosas and their idlis!! I am a sambar snob and I rate their sambar amazing!! There's always a long line in the Ballard's farmers market for this stall but it does move quickly.

I've tried their biryani at SLU and I loved it too. Its just its a bit early in the day for me to have biryani, so I prefer their tiffins.

Standing in the line, sipping tea and people watching while waiting for dosas has become a habit now ??‍♀️?❤️

“Fantastic non-veg food in terms of all variety, especially the way they cook juicy Mutton(Goat).
I would have given 5star, if either tea cup size was better or the price should have cheaper for that small cup of tea.
I would suggest the manager to address or take care of this.

You won’t regret it……list of food items I really liked here: 1) gobhi Manchurian 2) samosa 3) kadhai paneer 4) veg chettinad 5) malai kofta ( muah muah…. “To be honest, I chose this restaurant randomly because it was close to the hotel I was staying at. While the ambience at the restaurant is not necessarily the best, don't let that deceive you. I ordered a takeout comprising aloo gobi, navarathna kurma, dal makhani and rotis. I didn't have high expectations to begin with, but imagine my surprise when my parents who had just flown in from India started raving about how outstanding the quality of the said dishes were. Always nice to be pleasantly surprised by these random finds.“

the food was all delicious (malabar curry was too spicy for me but my partner loved it). the tilapia fry was PERFECTLY cooked and sooo delicious, probably my favorite item. really solid, standard butter chicken and samosas with good chutney. our masala dosa was wrapped in foil so it was a lil soggy when it arrived but we tossed it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes and it was perfect! also, they included approximately 1000 lbs of rice for all the goodies which was great
