Portion size was good. Would eat again but would get drinks elsewhere probably or just bring my own water bottle. A couple seats outside would be nice. Too cold inside for my taste.“

“The texture, cor, taste, sauces, seasoning, moisture, softness of the chicken, the freshness of the vegetables, and the richness yet not too rich teriyaki sauce mixture is almost to die for! Well balanced dish (although I had extra chicken), and the atmosphere (me being alone in the restaurant felt kinda good, but it's a little forlorn). Why not many people eat at this location is beyond me, but I HIGHLY recommend eating here. True quality and real appreciation of Teriyaki. There are 2 fixed price menus, $130 and $300, and on weekdays, there is a $70 4 course menu that was plenty of food for our geriatric appetites. Teriyaki had a really smokey quality to it that was so delicious, and the katsu and curry was spectacular! I saw their Korean Fried Chicken being served and it was top notch. “I just want to say, I drive by this place all the time when I go run my dog in magnolia, finally stopped in. Quiet little spot but the lady taking my order was so sweet and nice, made me understand the order, because I wanted extra side of gyoza with my Teri chicken, she insisted I just do the combo. I don’t normally do combo because it usually means you get less chicken but she told me that’s not how they do it :). I was more than surprised and happy. I got a feel stack of chicken, two scoop rice (which is also rare) 6 gyoza on the side and side salad, and it was freaking delish! Want to try the katsu next. Also as a side note, the salad was so fresh.

The food is comforting, fresh, and relatively inexpensive. The folks at the counter were kind and all business— efficient with a smile.

It started with friendly service. Wait time after ordering was not super fast, but reasonable. They offer self serve hot soup, also free soda or bottled water with each meal order.
My plate came with good presentation and nice portion size. I like their teriyaki which was slightly sweet (most other places are far too sweet).
I would recommend if they can tune down the use of starch in the soup, and a bit less salty. I also prefer if they provide full size forks/spoons instead of mini sizes.“

“I’ve been coming to Nasai Teriyaki for just over 10 years for my Teriyaki fix, and they’re consistently the best around. It’s actually hard for me to eat teriyaki elsewhere because Nasai is just that good. Things are made to order (and they ask me for level of spice!), and the resulting flavor is perfectly charred and absolutely delicious.

I always get the spicy chicken & gyoza combo, but also love their chicken yakisoba. My household will always go out of our way to eat here when we have a teriyaki craving!

“I ordered a few bento boxes to go for a quick meal before the sportsman show.

I ordered three chicken teriyaki bento boxes, the bento boxes came with teriyaki chicken, rice, a California roll, potsticker , egg roll, shrimp tempura and a salad. Plenty of food for the price and for one person. The bento box could have fed two people.

I love the salad, I love the dressing . It’s a sweet sauce. The chicken teriyaki was a little too sweet but still delicious. I loved the shrimp tempura and the sauce that came with it. It was nice to have a basic California roll since we typically don’t ever order that from a sushi restaurant. The egg roll was okay, it was a veggie egg roll, but still good .

- Agedashi tofu: simple but great, they just mastered this one
- The blackcod cheek is astonishingly good, basically half (the protein portion of) a fancy fish entree
- The vegetable or shrimp tempura: solid, high-quality instance of the category

There's also some sort of mountain yam slime option that I would get at least once, just because it's interesting.“

“I always love coming to this place because they always have great portion sizes and excellent customer service. I am a frequent customer and in my opinion one of the best teriyaki places in the area!! One of the many things I love eat here is the Korean fried chicken which is only available during dinner time it doesn’t need sauce to make it taste amazing but when you have it with the sauce it elevates the flavor more and each time I order anything from the menu, you can tell everything is fresh and piping hot when you get it! This business deserves more than 5 stars in my opinion and I recommend this place to all my customers at my place of work. 10/10 in my book!“

“I’ve been coming here since I was in middle school. It was always our favorite teriyaki spot in Seattle because the family that first opened it was so friendly, and the food was always delicious.

I’ve seen it change ownership probably 3 times. The quality has gone up and down. Overall, it’s probably not as good as it used to be, but it’s still one of the better Seattle teriyaki shops.
