Well balanced dish (although I had extra chicken), and the atmosphere (me being alone in the restaurant felt kinda good, but it's a little forlorn). Why not many people eat at this location is beyond me, but I HIGHLY recommend eating here. True quality and real appreciation of Teriyaki. “I ordered the beef teriyaki with extra meat, came out to about $36 which, before I GOT the food, felt like a lot. But when you see what you get it feels good. The food is excellent! The box couldn't stay closed on its own, they had to tape it shut. It fed me for two days. AWESOME. Gonna go back and get more tonight!“

“Heard the original owner cooks the food here. Tried it, not sure if the original teriyaki chicken was better than other Toshi's, but I was hungry and it tasted really good. The chicken was not dry and the sauce had a hint of sweetness, not overtly sweet like most places. Would go again if I happen to be in the area.“

This one time I brought their house fried rice to a family party but I guess 3 other people had the same idea to bring fried rice so we had 4 different fried rice. My contribution had no leftovers. Everyone else's fried rice was put to shame and embarrassment.“

“Consistently a very delicious restaurant. The food usually takes about 15-20 minutes to be done, so we always call beforehand to take home and eat. The portion sizes are very big! The quantity and quality of their food makes this place a favorite for us. They are also closed on Sundays.“

“I’ve been here twice now and the visits were within two weeks of one another because I was craving their yakisoba again.

Their teriyaki chicken and spicy teriyaki chicken were delicious (but I would go to Ta Joia down the road if I only wanted that), but their yakisoba was the best I’ve had in years. Generous portion plus it has wonderful wok hei that gives it a delicious smoky and charred flavor. My only complaint is I ordered the combination yakisoba the second time which was supposed to be chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp…and it had a single shrimp in it and the pork wasn’t my favorite. Friendly and chill guy, very generous amount of meat and it tasted good. I got the spicy chicken. They also have brown rice to sub and a couple Korean dishes and sides of kimchi for sale. “I have been coming to Ichiban Teriyaki for many years. Love the flavor of the meats they have. Not just a chicken breast on a grille. They show it some love :)

“I had. The tonkatsu ramen here a few years ago, I think it has changed hands since. Today I ordered the Shibu ramen (kimchi) and enjoyed it very much. The broth and kimchi were the stars of this ramen bowl. They also sell canning jars of the fresh kimchi. The ramen is definitely worth trying if you’ve not had it before.“

“This is a nice little neighborhood spot, service was a little slow as they only had one server and I believe one cook short staff. The food was great and I was excited they had the fish red bean dessert as I haven’t had that since we lived in Japan many years ago as a kid!! They didn’t have nato my dad’s favorite and no potatoes in the chicken curry. They forgot my dad’s miso soup she didn’t know if she brought it out or not. They definitely need a little more help so if you know anyone looking for a job they should apply.“

“Having been to this restaurant several times now, I can say for sure this will be my go-to place in the area for anything teriyaki. If you walk in or order for delivery, the food is never cold and always tastes great! Would recommend the Korean Fried Chicken Box or the Chicken Katsu Box.“

“Portions were pretty good for an average of $15. Once upon a time, teriyaki was provided in this volume for $7-$9, but at least this place didn't go with both shrink-flatiron AND inflation. They increased prices as expected, but respected reasonable portions. So many places have given in and cut both corners now.

We were happy with our meals. Chicken was flavorful and not dry or undercooked. We did ask for our meals to be well done, but we do that at all teriyaki places. They break the mold by providing cucumber salad instead of standard iceberg lettuce and dressing. I found the cucumber salad to have a bit too much vinegar for me, but my husband happy with it. I still enjoyed it as it cut the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce, which also happily wants not overly sweet.

Additional plus is they actually provide undiluted sriracha sauce. I have come across at least 3 teriyaki establishments that dilute their hot sauces with teriyaki sauce now.

To note, this place isn't necessarily a fast eat. As a to go order, it took a little over 20 min to receive or order an early Saturday evening.

Parking is limited in front, but if you don't mind parking a bit further behind the complex and a five minute walk, then there's no problem.

Space is very clean and looks like it may have been recently renovated or at least repainted. My husband said the restroom was clean.
