“My family and I are not very familiar with Sushi, but wanted to venture out and try something new. Let me tell you, the service and food were fantastic!! Our waitress, Lyvia, was so accommodating! When we mentioned that we were unfamiliar with Sushi, she took the time to find out what we liked and then provided us with some recommendations. We had the Caifornia roll, Crunch Roll, and a smoked salmon something🤣. It was all phenomenal!!!

“Delicious food and very kind staff and beautiful restaurant! The food is delicious as well as visually appealing. Dinging 1 point because an item was missing from my pick up order and they said they’re unable to refund the item, and that they’d have to refund the entire order. They did offer a free replacement the next time I order, but I’m visiting from out of town so I would suggest they acquire a POS system that is able to accommodate such needs.“

“This place offers incredible selection, it is a real adventure eating at a teriyaki place with all the fixings. I've always felt blessed even though I eat fried chicken katsu almost every time. Their sauce is incredible. This is the place where I fell in love with yakisoba so much I tried to make my own but it never measured up to their incredible food.

Their sushi is incredible. I didn't realize their vast selection. One of my favorite places to find sanctuary from the stress of the mall so I can enjoy my food.“

“Zen Ramen and Sushi is phenomenal! Their menu is full of delicious options, the sushi burritos tasted fresh and the ramen was so warm and comforting! Inside the decor is bright and welcoming, we really love all the options for seating and how friendly the staff was as well! 10/10, highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Just visited tonight and as always, loved the food and service! Super sweet waitresses and delicious food. I ordered the beef teriyaki bento box and a plate of crab rangoons. My friend ordered the beef bulgolgi. We were both surprised at the fast service and generous portions. It's not often that my friend and I get to go out to eat, but I'm so glad that we chose koibito 🤤“

“My wife and I found a little gem. There were three kid sitting at a table across the room. Before we had even tasted the food. I could hear them absolutely raving about how delicious the food was to their parents. I would have to agree with those three kids sitting at the table across the room the food was delicious. The prices are beyond fair I would feel guilty if I didn't tip 18% or More.“

“OMG! I had the BEST Steak and Shrimp Yakisoba from this place! The steak was cooked to perfection, the shrimp were huge and tasted so fresh. I was mad I shared my plate when it was over lol. It was that good! Plus, the lady who took out order was very kind. Great service, delicious food.“

Roommate likes the bigger menu and food but #3 is alot more relaxing. the remodel is nice but it seems to have cut least a 1/3 of seating guess you needed the added kitchen space 👍. I've been coming to this location since atleast 2013. when my family would come and get unlimited sushi for birthdays had a sake bomb aswell. today (04/25/21) I had the "Bad Girl" roll extremely yummy. also had the crab rangoons which were good aswell.“

“I moved to Olympia in 2022 and began looking for good restaurants. After going to 4 Japanese I hit on Kamakura and have been returning there at least 1X/week. Great rolls, rice is perfectly executed, the Drunken Noodles with shrimp are AMAZING(every time). The staff is so kind and accommodating (makes me feel relaxed) The only thing I feel want for is more seaweed in the miso soup. This restaurant reflects everything with a touch of Japanese family tradition. The prices are fairly set and reflect the quality of food. So this is “my go to” Japanese place in Olympia“

“I was heading to Seattle and stopped here for lunch. I got the salmon poke and it's was delicious. Fresh and well balance dish. Definitely would come back to this place while traveling from Vancouver to Seattle. Shoot, I'll get some on the way back home.“

“The food is always pretty good! I do wish they would add actual veggies to the fried rice instead of just peas and carrots but I will still buy it and just pay for extra veggies and mix them in. Great portions as well. I always get 2/3 meals from every dish!“
