“I can only rate the food so far, but I'm excited to actually sit in! I've had a bad run of crap sushi for a bit, and this place made me remember good sushi. Their lunch prices are awesome for 3 simple rolls that are very filling. I love the rice in the sushi, but enough to tell it's seasoned but not too much, and the yellowtail is absolutely my favorite fish and they respect it beautifully 🤤.
I have only two complaints so far and one is just being greedy lol. I always want more yellowtail roll and it's made with scallions not radish sprouts as I'm use to but still delicious.
And I got the spider roll today, all tasted good, but the batter on the soft shell crap wasn't cooked through. Still delicious though. The crunch roll was outstanding and I loved how they put the sauces under so to not drown out the sushi as much, I very much appreciate that.
Total repeat for us!“

“Prices did go up a bit since I last came here but MAN the quality never changed. The lady in front is as nice as ever and they have lunch specials from 11 to 2! Not only that students get a free drink!? I was absolutely ravenous today so I finished a whole Mongolian beef on my own but the portion sizes are so big you can take some home. If you haven't been here hit it up next time you're in Sammamish. Lots of love ❤️“

“I like their fresh sheet!
I love eating sashimi and sushi with different kind of fishes/seafood. Lots of time tuna/salmon/yellowtail etc don't satisfy me because they are like basics for every Japanese restaurants. So I really enjoyed that they offer Aji, Kanpachi, Suzuki, Burihira etc. Crab tower roll was great! Lots of thin fries, my son loved it.
Definitely 5 star for the creative yet quality menu!
Service was great, they have enough people to cover a full house so you don't feel ignored and they come to check on you. Server introduced the sake I ordered and tried to pour with label facing at me all time like a high-end restaurant pouring fancy wine. I didn't catch her name but I appreciate the details.
Food was great as mentioned above. A great selection of Sake as well. Even though I haven't try everything on their menu, food I ordered was great, sushi from their fresh sheets was really good! I didn't order the couple rolls that were on fire, feels more like a gimmicky thing for me, but that's a subjective opinion, please go try and tell me I am wrong :)
Wife ordered Tempura and it was done right, crispy and delicious! The only thing would be the price point of the menu is more on the expensive side, especially how I prefer nigiris, so I won't be able to come here very often. Not that the price/quality ratio is bad tho, so I will come back.
Atmosphere was excellent. Although the table I was assigned was a bit sticky, not sure if it was the type of cleaner product they use or the towel was used too often on a Friday night.
Overall, I would go again and support this hidden gem.“

“There is a reason this is the highest rated Teriyaki restaurant in Woodinville. The presentation is perfect, the flavors are wonderful, the serving temperature was spot on. This is now my new go-to for PERFECT teriyaki. I highly recommend.“

“Simple, delicious teriyaki at a great price. Can’t beat the chicken and gyoza special for a quick dinner. Wife and I tried it on a whim when we moved out to Woodinville. Won’t go anywhere else now. She LOVES the spicy ramen. Also the couple who run it are absolutely wonderful. Give them some buisness!“

“This place is awesome for Japanese food in downtown Issaquah! The owner’s super friendly and runs everything himself, which makes it feel extra personal. Great prices for tasty, no-frills dishes you won’t usually find around here. Don’t come expecting fancy, just solid, delicious food.“

“The atmosphere and service are great. The food itself is good but could be slightly adjusted.
We ordered a tonkatsu and gyudon.
The tonkatsu was cooked well but lacked a bit of sauce. Portion size is appropriate, and overall flavor was delicious.
The gyudon was a bit tough. The beef was a little bit thicker than standard and was a bit overcooked. The rice was a little dry, but we did come in late in the evening, so that's not a major surprise.
Overall, it's a good experience, and we'll try coming back, but a bit earlier in the day.“

“Their fish is of superior quality compared to other Japanese restaurants in this area. I used to live in Japan for a long time so when I feel like eating Japanese food I always go to this one. I am a routine customer and I always order their salmon box, which they remember every time.“

“Incredible experience - we reserved the November bar seating for our anniversary, and every dish was both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. Eating at the bar was especially unique, as we could watch the chef make everything right in front of us! We also really liked the 3 Sake flight. A great place for kaiseki on the east side.“

“Teriyaki Bliss in the Autumn Sun
While walking home on a lovely fall afternoon, I stumbled upon a charming little teriyaki place that seemed to scream, “Eat outside while you still can!” Naturally, I obliged.
I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, and wow! It was like a warm hug from a long-lost friend. The chicken, grilled to perfection, bathed in a sweet-savory sauce, had my taste buds doing the cha-cha. The rice was fluffy, and the veggies were fresh enough to make you think they just jumped off a farmer's market table—if I knew what that looked like, of course.
As I savored my meal, the sun beamed down, and I had to fend off some curious squirrels who clearly believed my bowl was their next treasure. I perfected my “I will not share” face—an impressive masterpiece, if I do say so myself.
Overall, this teriyaki spot is a must-visit for a delightful meal that pairs perfectly with the last sunny days of fall. Just make sure to bring your sense of humor and maybe a jacket for when the sun sets and the squirrels start plotting! ???️“

“Pleasantly surprised by this spot. Went in because the Mediterranean place I was going to try next door was super slow to even acknowledge me.
Friendly and chill guy, very generous amount of meat and it tasted good. I got the spicy chicken. They also have brown rice to sub and a couple Korean dishes and sides of kimchi for sale. If you’re looking for a quick and easy teriyaki spot, it’s definitely one of the better ones. I’ll be coming back for sure“

“Portions were pretty good for an average of $15. Once upon a time, teriyaki was provided in this volume for $7-$9, but at least this place didn't go with both shrink-flatiron AND inflation. They increased prices as expected, but respected reasonable portions. So many places have given in and cut both corners now.
We were happy with our meals. Chicken was flavorful and not dry or undercooked. We did ask for our meals to be well done, but we do that at all teriyaki places. They break the mold by providing cucumber salad instead of standard iceberg lettuce and dressing. I found the cucumber salad to have a bit too much vinegar for me, but my husband happy with it. I still enjoyed it as it cut the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce, which also happily wants not overly sweet.
Additional plus is they actually provide undiluted sriracha sauce. I have come across at least 3 teriyaki establishments that dilute their hot sauces with teriyaki sauce now.
To note, this place isn't necessarily a fast eat. As a to go order, it took a little over 20 min to receive or order an early Saturday evening.
Parking is limited in front, but if you don't mind parking a bit further behind the complex and a five minute walk, then there's no problem.
Space is very clean and looks like it may have been recently renovated or at least repainted. My husband said the restroom was clean.
Highly recommend.“

“If you are looking for Yoshinoya beef bowl you had in Japan, this is what you are looking for. There’s no Yoshinoya in WA, so you should try here.
The reproduction of Yoshinoya's beef bowl is quite high. The clerk was Japanese. The menu name was Sukiyaki instead of Gyudon. It's a style where you order at the cash register and it's brought to your seat.“

“it's fine. decent place. sometimes overcooks my katsu but it doesn't make it inedible, just means there's a person actually cooking it back there. have seen people in the back cleaning equipment rigorously so that made me feel good about the cleanliness. would recommend“

“i enjoyed comin’ to this place to eat; i quite liked the teriyaki chicken, and though the general tao’s chicken was not to my liking, i think that’s more so personal preference than anything. staff were nice, and they were able to serve my decently large group well.
(i was not the “leader” of the group, just a part of it)“

“Teriyaki was always reliable here, especially pork and beef. Chicken is just so so for me. I think it is just a personal difference. The place seems very simple but most of the food is quite good. I have never dined in, so I can not judge the atmosphere, but just by looking at the inside, it is just the vibe of the food court, not fancy restaurant. I would recommend this place for people looking for fine food. You can not go wrong with food at least.“

“My mom had brag about their Yakisoba and wanted to go again the very next day and for me to experience their meal. Their Chicken Yakisoba was the best I had ever tasted, very flavorful and a huge portion with a side of rice. Also comes wirh their soup which was also delicious. My mom enjoyed her shrimp yakisoba for the 2nd time in a row. In fact we both ordered 2 more to go. Their service was outstanding and courteous. I will definitely back to dry their other dishes. Also they are open 7 days a week which is a plus. Their price is very reasonable and provides you with huge portion and excellent quality food.“

“I really love this place and have for many years.
As someone who has lived in Japan, I can say that the quality of their fish is great! It’s not the best in WA that I’ve had but it’s still very good for the PNW. I loveeeee their chirashi bowls and appreciate that they let you customize what is in the bowl if you prefer (sometimes I get chirashi but with only one kind of fish, for example).
Their prices are low for what they serve and their bowls come with such generous portions!
Parking is easy. There is parking throughout the whole plaza, though during some parts of the day you might need to park a bit further from the restaurant cuz so many people go to Factoria.
The staff are nice, maybe not the most friendly but they are pleasant. It is, however, a VERY small location so sometimes getting seating is really hard. And the decor isn’t very cozy (makes sense for such a small place). But otherwise highly recommend this place! Love love love it.“

“I love Toshi's! Haven't had any bad meals here, but my favorite so far is the spicy katsu chicken (barely spicy tbh) and teriyaki chicken. You can mix and match most of the dishes for combo plates, just ask! I hear the pork yakiUdon is also ?“

“We accidently found this restaurant and so glad we did. The food was exceptional and very inexpensive for the quality and service. The beef bulgogi pot stickers and tempura prawns were the best we have found in WA yet. Even though I am not a fan of spicy food - the Rose Combo (sorry I forgot the name) was the best flavor I have ever had. Thank you! We highly recommend this restaurant.“

“When we arrived, we were told there would be a twenty-minute wait, and it was definitely worth it. The restaurant was clean, the service was efficient and friendly, and the food was phenomenal. Everything was fresh and presented with a unique touch.
We ordered the pork gyozas, Philly roll, Spider roll, and California roll.
I recommend calling ahead for a table if you’re planning to visit on a busy weekend evening.“

“One of my go-to places for Koreanized teriyaki in Washington or anywhere. This place is the home of the, "crack-sauce." This garlicky, creamy sauce is originally on salad but can be paired with almost anything. You can substitute this where ranch dress can navigate.Parking in this stripmall can be done but it's busy and there are a lot of walkers and drivers.Food comes out fast and the portions are solid for this area and for what you are paying.I usually take my food to go, you're not going there for the atmosphere.Fun fact, they have "fake" Japanese bento dishes that you can purchase as well as some vending machines for little toys.Midas 5-stars for the clean food and fast service.“

“This place gives a good amount of food for the price and it tastes great too. The staff are kind and sweet. Best Teriyaki place I’ve been to.

“Very friendly service~ however after I have wanted teriyaki for so long, the teriyaki chicken I got here was discontinued. Rice is not fully cooked, chicken was dry. I hope it was just because I went to get togo 30 minutes before their closing time. One thing that I want to mention is they don’t intend to get tips, when I pay I was waiting to get the machine to turn back to me for adding the tips, but not, he only asked if I need a receipt. Give 4 stars because of that, especially for nowadays every restaurant is demanding high tips even for take out.“

“I have eaten here for years and years and years, sure its not the prettiest place in the world but my dad has moved to puyallup and makes me bring him beef teriyaki every time i see him. “I don’t usually write reviews, as you can probably tell from my non-review status, but this Jumbo Chicken Teriyaki Box has completely changed the game for me. As someone who travels frequently for work and eats on the go, I was not only surprised but genuinely in awe of the simple yet incredible meal that was delivered to my less-than-glamorous hotel room in Seatle.
When I say "simple," I don’t mean it in a negative way—rather, it was simply perfect. The chicken, the salad—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I was so impressed that I feel compelled to tell others: Order from here now, and often!
It’s been two weeks since I left Seattle, and I’ve thought about this meal at least 35 times since returning home. This place is a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to get back to the West Coast so I can dine here again. For what it’s worth, I ordered from them both nights of my stay in Seattle. Highly recommend!“

“I love this place! ❤️ Having a severe food allergy and eating out is just not an easy task. So when I found out about this place I was super excited, but hesitant. If you have celiacs or just a gluten allergy have no fear, this place is awesome! There are not tons of choices, but what they do offer is amazing. Anyway, their food is beautiful, delicious and fresh. Their servers are knowledgeable and if there is something they don't know, the chef's are all about it :) They will give you options to switch ingredients in or out, if needed. Amazing service, a kind, and professional staff, and good food = You should totally eat here! I'll post photos next time I am there. I already scarfed mine. Yes. They have GF soy sauce. I dont have to drive to Seattle for sushi anymore!

“Only thing I'll complain about, is no vegetarian kimchi*** served (no fish sauce, anchovies, squid ink) with the bbq short ribs or korean kalbi beef [exquisite job to chefs]!
Sushi, on the other spectrum- all was delicious; between my little sister (which was visiting from Montana), our mother filled up on miso soups, 2 yellowtail, 2 spider rolls of the 6 & the salad n white rice...
Hopefully, next time visiting- vegetarian Kimchi will be an option, even if $7 charge for all you can have while dining 😉 !

“Shrinkflation is real!!! Been going here for about 6 years now, always good service, good tasty food, you can't go wrong here. While I completely understand the prices increasing a few bucks over the years, I feel like the amount of food I receive has been decreasing. Idk man, I understand inflation and everything, but when I go to Ballard/Seattle (where I work) and get teriyaki that's priced within a dollar or two of this place, I notice I get a much larger portion sizes. Idk, might just be me and y'all OGs of this place could decide for yourself. Good place and good food though, just a little disappointed in my portion size decreasing over the years.“

“This is my go-to teriyaki place. Is it a tiny little hole in the wall with limited seating? Yes. But the food is amazing and the people are super nice. They offer generous portions, and the ingredients are clearly fresh and high quality. Spicy chicken is bomb, beef teriyaki is delicious, but the crispy garlic chicken is really where it's at. Big pieces of meat with no gristle whatsoever. So so so good.

“After eating here once, I'm definitely coming back. We ordered the beef yakisoba and spicy chicken as well as an extra side of rice. Me and my brother were both excited by the fact that the yakisoba came with its own rice as well. As for the spicy chicken, it was dry but came with extra sauce, so I couldn't really tell. And the meat portions were very generous. There was also a side of teriyaki sauce on both plates. Overall, great food and service. The casher was very sweet.“
