“We have loved this building for now four generations of our family coming here. The current proprietor makes delicious food and pours her heart and skills into every scratch recipe. Today, we were well taken care of as we celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday in their outdoor dining space. Everyone loved their food, enjoyed friendly & attentive service, and enjoyed many “memory lane” conversations about coming to The Bair (and Mom working part-time here back in the day). “First, the menu is great and unique. Second, as anyone knowing restaurants understands, a “fresh sheet” or that days specials should be offered so that some new choices always exist; at Spring Lake they do by both listing on the chalk board and posting on-line too so you know ahead of time. Third, the food is fabulous and made there. For example, hollandaise and bernaise sauces are made there and taste perfect ( take this from a lead cook who made those daily at Anthony’s Homeport restaurants first one in Kirkland for three years). The fish n chips batter is the best I ever had -ever including better than the tempura I used to cook for years I admit. And homemade deserts are offered which I often take home for later. Fourth, the service is not only great but also friendly making customers feel welcomed and appreciated. Because the restaurant offers unique different dishes cooked great, I can’t help but go there when hungry and want a great meal. A relaxing reasonable bottle of wine or glass is available too which I love. I have went probably over 50 times and hope they continue exactly what they are doing.“

“My family loves Applebee's, and it's our go-to place if we want to eat at a sit-down restaurant. The server was amazing, and she was always making sure we had our food done correctly, we have a big family so we all orders the deals that came with 2 entrees and 1 app and everyone got their food.
Staff here are very friendly and they are all on top of making sure things are running smoothly.

The food and drinks were soo good and piping hot and bursting with flavor!!! Staff was just the best ever. Good conversations with people who just stopped by to chat it up. The lake was mesmerizing and crispy clear. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxed, chill atmosphere. Went with 3 other family members and they also loved it!!!! “

“my husband and I will go there about few times a year. this was my father in laws favorite place to eat every Wednesday with his brother for many yrs. Yesterday(July 21st) we ate there at approximately 7pm. very nice waiter we had. my husband ordered a Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. he indicated that that meat was very tough and rubbery. I tasted it and totally agreed with him. but that won't stop us from going there again. we did show up on July 16th(Sunday). had no idea you closed up so early(it was about 6pm)“

“We had dinner here last weekend. The staff was great and the food was awesome! I had the Reubenesque, one of the best Reubens I've eaten, and a delicious margarita.

“Just went there for the first time and we were super impressed with how fast our food came out! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, normally places have way too much eggs in them but not here! Perfect! Great coffee too. Our waitress was super kind and cool as well!

Friends and I stopped by for desert, and both the Lava Cake and Pineapple Upside-down were life altering delights of immense taste bud, interconnected neurological pleasure.Food is food, some is great, others not so much. This? Pure pleasure starting from atop your tongue, flowing through your esophagus, and into your soul. Definitely recommend stopping! Im sure the food was just as good!“

“Very nice to have something of quality here on North Fort. The food truck that roams around is of even higher quality as well. I'll be coming here very frequently for food, all choices are great! This really beats waiting in line at the dfac, as it's super quick as well.The downside is that there's no hot meals here, it's all cold. That doesn't bother me though, since they offer fresh vegetables and fruits alongside the chilled items.All-in-all I'm glad this location is dependable and of higher quality than other locations.“

“We love this place so much we end up eating here almost every morning, every time we’re in Tacoma (even when we’d told ourselves we’d be “sensible” and not eat OUT every morning)… I’m particularly a sucker for the banana Nutella crepe when I’m in a mood for SWEET, and the avocado toast when I’m not. My husband has tried everything from “country bowl” to biscuits & gravy to chicken fried steak, and hasn’t yet found a breakfast that didn’t please him. Fantastic wait-staff! (We understand why the place is so busy—it’s usually hard to find a parking spot in their lot—but we’ve only once had to wait for a table.)“

It makes no sense to serve a tiny appetizer on a rectangular plate that emphasizes how meager the portion is. When I inquired about the side salad, my attention was directed to the naked arugula leaves beneath my crabcakes. The crabcakes were average at best. The service was good. I would return again to try the Tasso tacos, which has been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives.“

“I visited The Loose Wheel Friday afternoon and shared some drinks and a meal with friends. We started with an appetizer platter for sharing and the fried green beans, mozzarella Sticks, and sweet potato fries were all delicious. I ordered the loose wheel burger and loved it. Great portion sizes and I tell you these sweet potato fries are out of this world. We had great service and overall a great meal. I reccomend this location for great food, drinks, and a great time.
