“We have loved this building for now four generations of our family coming here. The current proprietor makes delicious food and pours her heart and skills into every scratch recipe. Today, we were well taken care of as we celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday in their outdoor dining space. Everyone loved their food, enjoyed friendly & attentive service, and enjoyed many “memory lane” conversations about coming to The Bair (and Mom working part-time here back in the day). Nostalgic, special, fabulous food, and great people. Thank you to Sara and her fantastic team!“

The food and drinks were soo good and piping hot and bursting with flavor!!! Staff was just the best ever. Good conversations with people who just stopped by to chat it up. “my husband and I will go there about few times a year. this was my father in laws favorite place to eat every Wednesday with his brother for many yrs. Yesterday(July 21st) we ate there at approximately 7pm. very nice waiter we had. my husband ordered a Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. he indicated that that meat was very tough and rubbery. I tasted it and totally agreed with him. but that won't stop us from going there again. we did show up on July 16th(Sunday). had no idea you closed up so early(it was about 6pm)“

Friends and I stopped by for desert, and both the Lava Cake and Pineapple Upside-down were life altering delights of immense taste bud, interconnected neurological pleasure.Food is food, some is great, others not so much. This? Pure pleasure starting from atop your tongue, flowing through your esophagus, and into your soul. Definitely recommend stopping! Im sure the food was just as good!“

“Just went there for the first time and we were super impressed with how fast our food came out! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, normally places have way too much eggs in them but not here! Perfect! Great coffee too. Our waitress was super kind and cool as well!

“Very nice to have something of quality here on North Fort. The food truck that roams around is of even higher quality as well. I'll be coming here very frequently for food, all choices are great! This really beats waiting in line at the dfac, as it's super quick as well.The downside is that there's no hot meals here, it's all cold. That doesn't bother me though, since they offer fresh vegetables and fruits alongside the chilled items.All-in-all I'm glad this location is dependable and of higher quality than other locations.“

I ordered the crabcakes. CRAB CAKES ($19) Housemade Crab Cakes | Red Pepper | Green Onion Garlic | Panko | Coconut Jalapeno Tartar | Side Salad The plating was surprising, to say the least. It makes no sense to serve a tiny appetizer on a rectangular plate that emphasizes how meager the portion is. When I inquired about the side salad, my attention was directed to the naked arugula leaves beneath my crabcakes. The crabcakes were average at best. The service was good. I would return again to try the Tasso tacos, which has been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives.“

I SCARFED down my chicken salad on a croissant 🥐!! The first bite and I was sold. The service was so quick, I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. It's impeccably clean inside as well🫧. You know how when you get drinks out of a soda fountain and they taste slightly like other flavors than what you're using because the nozzles don't get cleaned? Did not experience that here and it took me a moment to realize why my drink was so good 💯 I will definitely come back and try everything. Thanks for a great lunch (that didn't cost me $30!).“

The burger itself had great potential, but they went a little heavy on the sauces—house sauce, mustard, mayo, and ketchup all at once was overkill. The patty was juicy, with a good sear, and the bun was soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together. The toppings were fresh, but the flavors got lost under all the condiments. Next time, I’d ask for less sauce to let the meat and toppings shine.“
