“I have been to close to 250 different distilleries across this great country and this one is easily in my top 3. I was greeted with a warm welcome, a quick tour and background of the stills, and also all the products they offer. Next was a first for me... the owner set my flight up with palette cleansing oyster crackers, a chocolate for the coffee liqueur, a water, and proteins for substance during the tasting. But what about the spirits you ask??? Well they were all fantastic! All had a great nose, with complex but easily noticeable warms flavors of toffee and caramel on the whiskies. The finish on each of the 8 spirits were warm goodness with unique flavors and unbelievably smooth. The real treasure is not the spirits alone but the great conversations I shared with the owner. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed the drink and experience. Highly recommend.... Do NOT miss a chance to visit!!“

“I had my birthday breakfast there, first time going. We had a large group so we called two weeks ahead for reservations. We had their beautiful private room that was all set up for us, with lots of coffee and water. Our food came out all together, hot, so flavorful and comforting. Everyone commented on how yummy it all was. Their staff were the best in the business, they should give a class to others on what great service is. Highly recommend, a gem in Centralia. Also great shops all around to enjoy after an amazing meal. A must go and often!“

“The food was awesome, everything was cooked correctly. I got the steak with there bacon butter. Saw some of the burgers go by to another table and those things large.

The only draw back to the restaurant is that it is an older stile building. If you are 6 feet tall your head will hit the ceiling lights or some of the decorations.“

“I have always received excellent service at this location and most recently was assisted by one staff to help carry food to my car as I am disabled and was struggling with it by myself. She was so kind and didn’t make me feel a burden for needing the help.“

“Love this place. Started going a month or so ago with my ol lady. The lady at the register is so nice and helpful, the cook knows his business for sure. I LOVE the portion sizes lol. Can't be beat for the price and quality of food. My lady usually gets rainbow rice and wonton soup, I usually go for the chicken and beef teriyaki with extra teriyaki sauce. They don't add potato as a filler in their teriyaki like most places, so i love that as well. I'm surprised it's not busier, but every time we go, we see them with a handful of online orders and pickup orders prepped.“

The prices was around $30 per person with local Hawaiians juice that was deliciously paired with the food.“

“I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl with steamed rice and stir fried veggies. Definitely a nice portion size, more than enough for 2 people. I was only able to eat just under half and was more than full. Enough left overs for another meal. The only thing there could have been more of was the teriyaki sauce. “I originally thought El Amigo was just a grocery store, but it turned out to be so much more. Tucked right by the meat section, they have a cocina where you can order freshly cooked food—and it’s absolutely worth checking out. I’ve tried almost everything they offer, and everything has been delicious, but the true standout for me is the menudo. I’m not Mexican, but I love the flavors, and it tastes incredibly authentic (maybe). Regardless we enjoyed it.

The atmosphere inside the store adds to the whole experience. It feels like you’ve stepped into a little vacation in Mexico—warm, lively, and welcoming. The staff is friendly (special mention to Adela and Hilario) the food is amazing, and the overall vibe makes you want to come back again and again. I’m bringing my friends here.

If you haven’t tried their cocina yet, especially the menudo and Burrito El Pastor, you’re missing out! Punta kayo dito. Pramis, masaya at masarap talaga.“

“Went here for lunch today. It’s close to work and my order is usually ready when I arrive. I eat here so often that my supervisor sometimes asks if that’s where I went. Today they were very busy and my order took a little longer. This is actually a good thing because I know they made it to order. Fresh spring rolls are something many places make in advance so they can get you in and out quickly. Not PHO 102! They make them fresh. The other thing I appreciate is they give you peanut sauce with an extra container of sriracha in case you want to spice up the sauce. I always do. Thanks to them for being consistent and knowing when I walk in the door the order is for me.“

“It is a pool hall so if you are looking for real quiet never mind. It's not real noisy but can get a bit raucous. They have a excellent seasonal menu besides their usual one. “As usual, the food is excellent. I used to run a pizza restaurant back in the 80's and I am appalled at what most places think is a pizza. When a pizza was ordered with pepperoni back then it was covered, edge to edge, no visible cheese underneath until it was cooked, now I've had large pizzas that have had 25 pieces... 3 fingers width between each piece, I ordered extra one time and it came with 30. That was from the place with 3 letters in the second word of their name. Papa Murphy's still use an acceptable amount of product and when you order extra you get extra. You can't beat how hot it is coming right out of your oven, the staff is very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is I wish they would use a sturdier platter underneath the family size, 2 hands is not enough to keep it from flopping around, I'm disabled and walk with a cane, and at least ever single person over the years that has helped me has offered to take it out to the car for me, without being asked.“

“Honestly taste like a real burger, real ingredients plain and simple. Reliable every time. Fries are always great too and you get a ridiculous amount plenty to split between 4 people. Burgers are large cooked well ingredients are fresh and very affordable and service is quick. Good weather you can eat out side, inside is definitely due for some updates and reservations but that doesn't stop this place from turning out consistently decent burgers that taste homemade. Even my incredibly picky daughter likes these burgers and fries.“

“Thank you Country Cousin for a wonderful experience yesterday. My date has diabetes and was holding on to the hostess podium to keep from falling when we were waiting for a table. I took her out to the door lobby so she could sit down for a while. The kindest server came out with a glass of orange juice and said: "Diabetes?" "Yeah, that's it" I said with my jaw on the floor as she gave it to my friend. She drank some of juice, recovered, and another kind young lady came out and told us she got us a table that was close. We sat down, enjoyed our awesomely yummy meal that was served by yet another kind gentleman and had the best time. Thank you Country Cousin, your cooks, servers, hosts/hostesses for just a... faith-in-humanity-restoring experience. “Wow! What a wonderful find! We just wanted a quick breakfast while out and goodness did they deliver! Very sweet waitress. Great menu to choose from! We picked the Big delicious omelets. Mine was Denver, my husband got the meat lovers, with their generous servings of hash browns, It was delicious. Our son got the Chicken fried steak breakfast and I had to get over my food envy! He said it was as delicious as it looked.

“I stayed here because it was 5 minutes from where I was working for two days and because I live near the McMenimans Anderson School and have been to several of the restaurants and bars there several times.

The hotel is definitely a historic building. Definitely cool but also creaky and everything that comes with an old building. I thought the communal bathroom would bother me but it was not an issue. Several near my room. Room had no TV which I didn’t think about but I’m sure was advertised. Mt room was clean and the bathrooms were clean every time I used them. Close proximity to the train tracks is my biggest complaint. Very loud several times a night and in the morning with the horn because there is a crossing near the hotel. They have earplugs in the side table but I didn’t want to miss my alarm.

The staff was very nice. The restaurant downstairs is good, I would recommend it. They have a movie theater. It was cheap and definitely interesting. I would say worth the money.“

“Love their food! They are always so kind and welcoming. I ordered take out and I had my kids in my car. I paid and waited for my food and the man was so kind and brought my food out to my car. I didn't even ask.

Another time I was there a man helped me carry my order out to my car.

Only teriyaki around here that actually has the salad that is cold with that addicting dressing. All over teriyaki places around here give you this gross hot salad as a side.

“There are not enough great things to say about Meconi's. This is a family owned business and they run it as such. They care about their customers the way they care about their food. I use them every time I have an event and they do an amazing job of coming through with sandwich platters and whatever else I need. I love that they make their own bread. Highly recommend!“
