“This is a great little hidden gem. Been here twice and both experiences were great. Tried the personal sushi combination, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken, ramen on2nd trips, everything was cooked perfectly.1st trip had the teriyaki bowl, phili roll, and pho. Super tasty.Service was equally as great. Felt like a momAnd pop shop.I’d definitely come here again“

“Thank you Tess! We had an awesome time with great food and excellent service. The spicy tuna roll is a staple, and the 'cry baby' along with the 'panic' rolls are out of bounds! Really well made sushi with just the perfect amount of fresh ginger - cannot beat it!There are many vegan and vegetarian options as well. The import beers are a little pricey, but they are served cold, wet, and delicious. There is parking out front and in the spring you catch the Japanese cherry blossoms blooming. They also have a covered back patio that will open up in April. Which means they will need more help because it is going to be packed. Some of the best sushi I have had - keep it up Kamakura team!!“

“Best sushi I've had in Washington. The atmosphere is great but the service is top notch. I've been here 3 or 4 times and every experience is better than the last. Mira is an amazing server. Pray that she's working when you visit. Great recommendations always and very personable and funny too. Mira isn't mean.“

“Out of all the sushi options in Olympia, I think Sushi House is the best.Good place for a date night, or weeknight meal with the family. We ordered the miso soup with California roll and dragon roll. Everything was delicious. We also got to check out this burning duck dish across the restaurant that sounded really good for next time. My kid got a kick out of the spectacle of it.Service was attentive and unobtrusive. Warm, friendly.Decor isn't overly trendy, but it didn't feel dated either. They were welcoming to my kid. Parking was plentiful.Accessible too.“

“My favorite sushi in Olympia, and one of my favorite restaurants in general. Prices are good, fish is fresh, great selection of rolls. My favorite is the poke roll, simple and delicious. The food always comes out super fast, we order a ton of food between two people and the total is usually about $60-70 (app plus like 5 rolls and sometimes beverages). I love it here so much, it's just a comfortable happy place.“

“Beautifully decorated and super clean restaurant. Incredibly friendly, efficient, and wonderful service. And most importantly- great sushi. I highly recommend this place. I tried the 911 roll and one of the daily special rolls, the Oishii, and both were delicious. Give this place a shot if you’re in the mood for sushi!“

“First time ordering here and I must say, it wasn’t what I expected but it was still pretty good.Customer service here was unmatched though.. I placed an order through Google and it was ready in 15 mins. The host (and I’m guessing a manager) were very kind when remedying my order after a mistake and even sent me on my way with an extra treat. I look forward to going here again.“

“Been coming here for like 2 years now, feels time to give a review... this is definitely my favorite restaurant. The chicken teriyaki is my go-to, and it never misses. Best in the area, easily. Delicious food, great portions, fair prices. Sushi rolls are perfect! The staff is especially friendly, every time. I get takeout here so often that they're already bringing me my food by the time I walk in the door... too funny! Would give this place 6 stars if I could.“

“DJ/KJJoy is worth coming back for every Wednesday and Thursday. The regular kJ trained her well. With tonight being her first night as KJ, I was pleasantly surprised. I had the best time, especially considering I was going to a bar by myself for the first time in decades.. Karaoke by myself too and I felt awesome.“

“Food and service was overall good and tasty. The teriyaki chicken was good. Chicken katsu was good. Fried rice fairly good. Egg rolls were yummy, the garlic chicken was HORRIBLE. Dry and not that good tasting. Looks kinda bad too. But everything else, great. Sushi was good too.“

“We came for early dinner just before happy hour, our waitress was gib and we couldn't have had a better server. She was attentive and nice enough to let us sit and wait for happy hour to start. Made the entire meal a good time. Impressive carrying that many long rolls on one arm was cool. I'd ask for her each time as not only was she spot on but also entertained our antics on smart butt comments. Ask for gib and she'll take care of you.“

“My husband and I decided to stop in today. It was a cute, hole in the wall. We got sushi and qyoza. The sushi was absolutely delicious with very fresh ingredients. Probably one of the best sushi places we have tried. The qyoza was perfectly crispy with that perfect amount of feeling. The only reason I gave it a four star was because of the aesthetics. Business needs a small makeover to give it that Japanese feeling, and some background music. Currently reminds me of a country kitchen, giving amazing Japanese food. Weird mix! Food is totally worth it. Will be back! ?“

“After many drive byes we made it in. What a unique space, a very different vibe, and kinda uplifting, if that makes sense. The gyoza was steamy and tasty and the sushi burrito was unexpectedly bright and full of flavor. Nice vibe and a constant stream of patrons flowing in.“
