We had a reservation, and not only was our table ready, but they happily let us switch to the couches instead. Honestly, that made the whole night. After a long week of work and kids, sinking into a comfortable couch with my wife and a glass of wine felt perfect.

The staff here is incredibly knowledgeable — the kind of people who can explain the vineyards, the blends, and the story behind the wine without ever overwhelming you. For a nerd like me, that’s a huge win. You can tell they know their craft and they genuinely enjoy sharing it.

The wines themselves were excellent. Fidelitas leans heavily into those bold, Bordeaux-style reds, and every pour had depth and personality. If you’re a red wine person, this place is basically a playground.

Now the snacks… WOW.

If you go, order the maple pecan dates. Just trust me. They’re decadent, warm, chewy, sweet, nutty — honestly better than pecan pie. One of those bites where you stop talking mid-sentence because your brain needs a second to process how good it is. The other small bites were great too, but the dates are the star.

Overall, our experience at Fidelitas was relaxed, modern, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. Great wine, great staff, comfortable atmosphere — and those dates alone are worth the drive. Highly recommend.“

“One of the most memorable wine tasting experiences we have ever had. We were fortunate to be there when Seth the wine maker was there. He was so gracious and we learned so much from him about the wine making process the grapes and the history of this small family owned business. We sat in the vineyard literally and even got to taste some of the grapes right off of the vine! And the wines are all delicious!! We will most certainly be back.“

“My friends and I met here for lunch. We were warmly greeted and given a splash of a wonderful Rosé while we looked at the menu. We ordered the sweet corn pizza and paired it with the recommended cuvee (white).
The pizza crust was absolute perfection, and the pizza was excellent. We split the bottle of cuvee.
We had such a wonderful time on the patio which overlooks the valleys and farmlands and if course gives you a great view of Red Mountain.
We ended up staying a long time so we ordered another pizza and paired it with the Merlot. The pizza was the "figgy bleu" and it was also excellent. The wine pairing was perfect.
It was so friendly and laid back. We were sorry to leave!

“Overall it was very good. Some minor things could have been better, but overall they could be personal preforce or minor errors.

I had the flat iron steak, and mine was cooked nearly right. ..I think they messed up mine for the person I was with.“

“If you’re looking for a winery experience that feels like you’ve stepped straight out of Washington and into a French countryside escape, Hedges is the one. The entire place has this “European chateau” vibe that’s impossible to fake — from the architecture to the art to the view over the vineyard rows. Even the drive up feels like you’re heading somewhere special.

I added a note to our reservation asking for a spot by the fireplace and mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. Not only did they honor it, they nailed it.

The chairs were warm, comfortable, and the whole room felt cozy in that old-world way — fire crackling, candles glowing, and the kind of ambiance that makes you want to slow down and savor everything.

The wines were bold and delicious, especially the reds. You can tell they take their craft seriously. They even brought out a little birthday treat, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the moment feel even more personal.

We also ordered the cheese plate and honestly, it was perfect. Three different cheeses, a mix of crackers, olives, tiny pickles, and what I’m pretty sure was apricot jam — everything balanced each other beautifully. Paired with the wine, it felt like the world outside just… paused for a bit.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful without hovering. They made sure we had everything we needed and explained the wines clearly, but still let us relax, enjoy, and take in the atmosphere.

If you want a place that transports you, even just for an hour or two, Hedges is absolutely worth the visit. It’s one of those wineries where you don’t just taste the wine — you feel the entire experience.“

“Stopped here to do a wine tasting and wound up staying for lunch and then coming back for their monthly three course dinner later in the evening. The wine was some of the best we tasted in the Red Mountain area, and the food was just as spectacular. Katie who did our tasting was very knowledgeable and told us so much about both the wine and the region as well as how things are grown. She provided excellent wine recommendations and also let us compare and contrast some of the different wines which really made for a great tasting experience. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back often for both the food and the wine, but we had to settle with ordering some to be shipped home.“

“Our visit to Col Solare was nothing short of world class in every aspect of the word. From the time we hit the parking lot until the time we checked out we were treated like family, nothing short of VIP service. Although our tasting was advertised to be just 3 wines we were treated to just about everything on the menu. Each wine was presented to us in nice stemware and not once did we reuse a glass. Monica was officially our server but we were also spoiled by Ian and Eddie. All three were very knowledgeable of the wine we were being served as well as the wines of Eastern Washington. We enjoyed every wine we tasted but did have a couple standouts. The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2015 Malbec and the 2016 Syrah were all standouts. Wines are priced at the luxury level but seem reasonable in comparison to comparable wines in Napa. Our visit to Col Solare was indeed memorable. I only wish we would have saved it for last because now all other wineries in Eastern Washington will be judged based on Col Solare. Is that fair? Don't care, I am on vacation and therefore I make the rules... For this visit I give Col Solare 5 stars. Woohoo! As good as it gets!“

There were multiple large groups, the kitchen was clearly running behind but the service was excellent, the food was great, and we had no complaints whatsoever. I can only speak to the team in what used to be the tasting area but we had an excellent time!“
