I do not believe that the on-line business should be paid millions of dollars a year to their CEO's, the millions that we pay into their On-line business. Instead pay it into local stores and people we know and talk to each day. Remember these people at Our Safeway are Our neighbors. This Safeway is your Our neighbor and we should remember that. It's a Great Store, Great stuff, nice people and Our neighbor. What more could you ask for. I have yet seen an On-line business ask "How is you Grand Daughter today is she alright?" Daniela Solis Bakery is an absolute gem! The empanadas were delicious—crispy on the outside, perfectly filled on the inside, and full of authentic flavor. But the real surprise was the miloja—one bite and it felt like a flight back home. Truly nostalgic.

The music and atmosphere transported me straight to Venezuela, to Mérida—warm, inviting, and full of soul. Every detail feels intentional and heartfelt.

The host was incredibly attentive and welcoming, making the whole experience even more special. Oh, and don’t leave without trying the gelatos—they’re amazing!

“My family is from Northern Ireland, we have loved visiting the British pantry for over a year regularly until recently. While I would recommend the food store attached and the food in the restaurant the wait staff, 2 women in particular have been so rude to me and to my small children, multiple times! At first I thought I was being over sensitive, maybe they were having a bad day but it's happened 3 times now. My children are very used to restaurants, one has severe allergies so we always bring stuff for them and the other is nero-diverse and struggles to accept food that looks different than the previous visit etc. While other restaurants have been amazing with our kids, these two women have always had something judgmental to say. We typically buy our kids something from their attached store and have them eat that in the restaurant but on our last trip one of the ladies felt the need to tell my 5 year off for eating food that wasn't from the restaurant! I repeat she spoke directly to my 5 year old and scared her, all because she was eating a treat bought in the attached store! I have spoken with the owners daughter on one of our first visits and she said it was absolutely fine! Asides from these two servers attitudes towards my family they act as if we are an inconvenient to them. Everyone who works there has been wonderful, especially the young fella who typically works in the store, my children think he's so fun and sweet, he always takes a moment to chat with them, and a young girl who gave my daughter she water in a teapot with a teacup because she was a princess 😍😭 anyways if you made it through all of this thank you! summary food is good, but we will avoid it until two servers in particular are not on shift or have left 🫠“

“No Great American Cookie in your communist PNW malls, so I was wide open to being converted - and, because I’m a rascal - I had three dessert places pitch themselves to me, and Huntley (real name, I swear to god I checked and confirmed several times) was charming and funny and helpful and convinced me to go with Auntie Anne’s (over two competitors I won’t name, who hilariously wouldn’t tell me where I could find the other, despite being 40 ft from each other and within sight on the same floor of the mall) and I’m GLAD HE DID.
I had a delicious (whole) pretzel, cleverly cut into small bits and disguised by dunking in butter and drowning in cinnamon sugar before going into a drink cup, so I was fooled until it was too late: that’s a lot of pretzel. It FEELS like you’re eating popcorn, but you’re not; you’re eating like a tenth of a pretzel per chomp. But it was soooooo good, I ate the whole thing in a series of consecutive chomps. Will be back. “As a serious hobbyist baker myself I am very particular about cake but this is some of the best cake around. We went with a small cutting cake and 4 different mini cupcakes. The only thing I knew about the design I wanted was that it NOT be fondant. They worked with us to get to what we liked but then a couple of days before they called to confirm which shade of blue we wanted and came up with a brilliant idea of how to make it really pretty. We were wowed. However, I should say, what really sets them apart is their frosting. Just the best frosting I have EVER had.“
