“My family is from Northern Ireland, we have loved visiting the British pantry for over a year regularly until recently. While I would recommend the food store attached and the food in the restaurant the wait staff, 2 women in particular have been so rude to me and to my small children, multiple times! At first I thought I was being over sensitive, maybe they were having a bad day but it's happened 3 times now. My children are very used to restaurants, one has severe allergies so we always bring stuff for them and the other is nero-diverse and struggles to accept food that looks different than the previous visit etc. While other restaurants have been amazing with our kids, these two women have always had something judgmental to say. We typically buy our kids something from their attached store and have them eat that in the restaurant but on our last trip one of the ladies felt the need to tell my 5 year off for eating food that wasn't from the restaurant! I repeat she spoke directly to my 5 year old and scared her, all because she was eating a treat bought in the attached store! I have spoken with the owners daughter on one of our first visits and she said it was absolutely fine! Asides from these two servers attitudes towards my family they act as if we are an inconvenient to them. Everyone who works there has been wonderful, especially the young fella who typically works in the store, my children think he's so fun and sweet, he always takes a moment to chat with them, and a young girl who gave my daughter she water in a teapot with a teacup because she was a princess 😍😭 anyways if you made it through all of this thank you! summary food is good, but we will avoid it until two servers in particular are not on shift or have left 🫠“

“As a serious hobbyist baker myself I am very particular about cake but this is some of the best cake around. We went with a small cutting cake and 4 different mini cupcakes. The only thing I knew about the design I wanted was that it NOT be fondant. They worked with us to get to what we liked but then a couple of days before they called to confirm which shade of blue we wanted and came up with a brilliant idea of how to make it really pretty. We were wowed. However, I should say, what really sets them apart is their frosting. Just the best frosting I have EVER had.“

It FEELS like you’re eating popcorn, but you’re not; you’re eating like a tenth of a pretzel per chomp. But it was soooooo good, I ate the whole thing in a series of consecutive chomps. Will be back. “Recently, my wife and I heard of this little gem from a friend on social media. My wife is Colombian so she was very excited to have a true Colombia style bakery near by. I have always heard of the traditional passion fruit/guanabana smoothies my wife has in her country and I couldn’t wait to finally try them.Since this location is in Sculpture park it can be hard to find parking but don’t let that stand in your way of visiting. We arrived at the bakery moments after they opened, in fact everything was still coming out of the oven and being sorted out for the day. We placed our order ( 1 Soursop smoothie, 1 Passionfruit smoothie, 1 Beef empanada, 1 Ham & Cream cheese puff pastry, and a Milhojas ). The food and drinks arrived at a decent speed…the pastry took slightly long but it’s because we arrived right at opening and they were still sorting things as I mentioned.The smoothies were absolutely fantastic! I mean WOW. The Soursop was nothing like I have ever tried before. If anything it resembled a yogurt type taste but so much better! The passionfruit was also so refreshing. If I have one recommendation it would be to offer a bigger size in the smoothies. They appeared to come as a 12OZ only but they do offer coffee and 16OZ for the coffees.The Empanada was great! Cooked well and the dough around the beef was yummy. I’m use to having bigger empanadas but a true Colombian empanada is the same size they offer at this bakery.The Milhojas is a sweet treat I have never experienced before and it was so good. I would recommend this to anyone. Grab a Milhojas and a coffee and share it with your partner/friend.Last but not least the Ham & Cream cheese puff pastry. I will mention this also includes Jalapeño. Now, Jalapeño isn’t something traditionally used in the Colombian culture so this surprised my wife, but it was a delicious add in. The texture and crisp of the puff pastry was the favorite thing I had. It was almost like pretzel flakes that melted in your mouth. I really loved this pastry and I for sure could have eaten a few of them.One thing I would emphasize is that this is a bakery. I’m a 25 Year old who eats a lot so if you are looking to come here for breakfast just know it’s light pastries and coffee/smoothies. You won’t be leaving super full. I would recommend this place for a early weekend adventure. Or quick bite before having a late brunch.The Colombian Delights Bakery is a relatively new place and it sure is good! “I wanted something small and savory after a chiro appointment and this place was great! There's a lot of good options in this lot, but for quick, tasty and a great value the bakery is wonderful! You really cannot beat the price. I got the new king mushroom bao which was savory and had crunchy, chewy bits (really good texture). The pork and chives was very classic and had plenty of big chopped chives. I look forward to trying their pickled sides as well.“
