Which brings me to the chocolate croissant. It's a lovely croissant, buttery and flaky, but the stingy amount of chocolate was a bummer. There was such a small amount, I thought they mistakenly gave me a plain croissant? I cut one piece, nothing, I cut another, no chocolate, did I get the wrong one? Then finally, a pencil thin strip of chocolate was found, not pencil length mind you, but thin. The kids were unimpressed and mom was disappointed.“

A few weeks ago, we visited in hopes of picking up donuts but were told that owners-who make the donuts- would be out of town for a week, for family reasons.

Today, we visited around 11am, and it was still closed. No car parked outside either. 😔
Holding onto hope that they'll be back eventually... any time I drive by, I see people peering in to see if it's open.

“Gotta give it five stars for being such a solid vegan lunch option in this neighborhood which is otherwise lacking. Really great chickpea sandwich and Americano. Also love that they sell fresh bread! The chocolate buckwheat cookie is perfect for those of us who like sweets on the more salty side.

A bit pricey but good portions. I only ate half of my sandwich and saved the rest for later.

I have to add though that it looks like they no longer have beer and wine which I was disappointed to learn! If they were open until like 8 or 9 and I could get a glass of wine in the evening I would legit come here like 3-4x a week“

“I got to Anchorhead quite often since it is one of the only cafes around that opens at 7am. The coffee tastes good and they have some decent pastries. The downstairs area is large with a couch and several table - it’s a good place to study/work/hang out.
There are a few issues worth noting:
- the music especially downstairs is loud for a cafe so bring headphones
- the “medium” sized coffee is 10oz not 12oz and ordering an 8oz or a 10oz seems no different since they seem to come in the same mug. They should make their medium a 12oz
- the chairs downstairs could use some maintenance
Overall though still 5 stars, especially given their 7am opening.“

“Ohh macarons is so scrumptious! I recommend them to friends, co-workers, family, and on my community Facebook page! I even brought them on a crosscountry plane for a picnic i was having with old college friends! I appreciate the regular menu (I always get a salted caramel), but I LOVE the rotating weekly flavors and designs! These macarons are a work of art...I'm not kidding, the special Derpy (K-PoP demon hunters character) macaron....well I bought 6: one for my and one each for my friends. One friend refused to eat it for over a week because it was too cute!! The drinks are delicious and the service from the owner and top notch.“

I ordered a latte with added pandan cream and paired it with the pandan cream puff. Both were delicious! The cream puff was PACKED with cream, they do not skimp. I will definitely be back!“
