“I first heard about Kanishka's Des Moines location through a friend who saw somebody raving about it in a Seattle foodies group here on FB. My friend and I went to check it out and, well, it's my new favorite restaurant. I've been here 3 times and Door Dashed it once in the past month. The food every time has been absolutely fantastic, and the portion size are quite generous. The appetizers are almost entree-sized; the first time I went there with a friend, we filled up on appetizers and had to get our entrees to go. Dish recommendations: Chicken 65 and Fish Pakoras for appetizers; Mixed Grill, Lamb Vindaloo, and Paneer Korma entrees. Also, listen to your host as it seems like they're always trying out new dishes that haven't made it onto the menu yet.“

With every bite, we could taste how much care & love went into preparing their authentic ingredients. The Rawa Batata Tikki Chaat had the perfect crunch and tangy flavor balance, the Veg Platter was a delicious starter sampler, and the Chole Bhature was incredibly rich, flavorful, and satisfying. Every bite was delicious.
For drinks, we tried Kala Khatta Mojito: An absolute must-try! It instantly reminded us of the beloved childhood kala khatta flavors.

“We were visiting Seattle from New York, so we searched on Google and found the best reviews of Shahana Steakhouse. We decided to stop by for the Ramadan Buffet (we visited a couple more restaurants in Seattle), so the best Iftar buffet and the out-of-class service in the Seattle area is here, with excellent customer service and a perfectly managed buffet. I noticed they were crazy busy on weekdays. The restaurant was full of people, and there was a long line; the staff served dates in the line and continued filling the dishes with food, even for families that were joining very late. Everything was fresh and warm, including their delicious pizza, fried chicken, and tikka boti. I loved Shahi Tukray; you must try it if you are there for a buffet. They even served the food at the tables for the customers who came in later. They came to us twice at our table to serve the food. Everything was very well set up, and there was fantastic management. I am going there for suhoor/breakfast and will let you all know about the homemade parathas and omelets. Stay tuned.“

“Ruchi is one of best restaurants which I have been buying for quite a long. Recently we did a catering order and the items they served are top notch based on my friends experience. We recommend their authentic Chicken Pakoda, Goat Chettinad, Chicken 65 biryani, Boneless Goat biryani, Fried rice, Samosa and many more. They also serve the food in hot container which kept our food warn till we serve.

Except thecha panner, all other dishes are very flavourful. We ordered medium spice level for all dishes.

We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. While we waited we checked the menu and ordered our food which came to us nice and hot and without much waiting. We found the service to be very good and the food was excellent. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. Everything was good and we can say this is a great place for Indian food. Will return.“

“Restaurants in Seattle area are on a whole another level. There's atleast 20 places offering buffet alone. Each competing with the other to offer you the best. Today I went to Biryani Palace in Bellevue and my experience was no different. The ambience is great. There are two sections with veg and non veg on either sides offering a host of dishes. I tried karampudi chicken, shola kabab, mutton pepper fry, amravati chicken curry, hyderabadi biryani and some methi chaman and pav bhaji masala. For desserts I tried the mango fruit salad. All the meats are halal and for $12.99 per person you get some great food with friendly customer service who restock often and treat you like a king.“
