Fast Food Restaurants near Big Bend

“We were starving and nothing was open. Pouring rain, cold and hungry. Three things that do not go together well. I must admit McDonalds is a last resort for food. I won’t go into that, but when you’re hungry anything does.

At 12:30 in the morning it’s drive through only. When we arrived there were a ton of people jammed into two lanes. Here’s where the five star overall rating comes in. The lines moved fast, the order was accurate, and the most importantly, the kids working were friendly and efficient. We received our food fast, hot, and well, it’s McDonalds. What else can you say. They scored on the important stuff and that’s all that matters. I’d recommend this location l, which sits across from State Fair Park as long as the service remains top notch and the lines move.“

“This was a very delightful experience! The staff was friendly and attentive. They greeted everyone that came into the restaurant. This is by far the cleanest Subway I’ve ever been in too! I almost forgot to mention, my sub had fresh bread, great ham quality & the toppings were fresh. The sub artist asked me if I wanted more of any toppings and assured I got my mayo to my liking! Keep up the great work :)“

“I haven't had Golden Chicken in many years . Tonight I ordered a chicken ,rib combo bucket with mashed potatos and gravy. $30 and it was great. The ribs were as good as any rib joint and the chicken was super. The chicken was not greasy at all. I will go back.“

“In this age of understaffed restaurants with poor food this Dairy Queen is knocking it out of the park. The food was fantastic and the staff even better. From the dining room you could see the staff and they were working their butts off moving food and ice cream at an unbelievable pace.“

“I love the atmosphere calm setting under New Management. I love the greet when I walk through the door. Very pleasant as a GM. Your veggies are very fresh my BMT was the best Subway sandwich that I had in years. I am very picky with my food, just the freshness of my mail to my spinach my black olives. “They always do a great job with gluten free. Always worried they’ll be annoyed when it’s slammed. Today they were making at least 20 subs when I stopped in and they gladly and calmly took my order. I’ll go out of my way to go to this Jersey Mikes“

“There's not many places I say this about but don't leave all bad reviews. This Culvers and everyone Ive been to is always the friendliest people and great food. I travel for work and have been to a lot of locations and my main go to for something quick!“

“Food is good but I don’t appreciate being left on hold for 10 minutes on the phone. I walked in and the lady told me they were busy. Didn’t sound like it while I was on the phone holding and when I walked in there I saw only one family. She was trying to cover for the fact that she forgot. She should have just been honest.“

“The only subway location I will go to. She makes the best subs and adds a healthy amount of toppings; I've had issues at other locations that give the smallest amount of lettuce but she fills my sub up. Absolutely the best subway around.“

“I went inside to place my order to go, because I haven't been here in a long time, wasn't familiar with their menu anymore and I didn't want to hold up the drive thru line.

I didn't catch the cashiers name, but he was very helpful and super patient (not the fake annoyed with me either) with me. He made sure my order was correct and overall made my experience great. The food was fresh and in my opinion better than their competitor. I was ordering for my family of 3 and one of them is a picky eater.  It was nice being able to order for my family to go and not feel like I was being rushed.

The atmosphere was fine. There were younger people there, families, couples. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I don't have much to say about it as my order was for take out.“

“Just a PSA - I am normally a vanilla based ice cream flavor type of gal. Tonight my husband got the Flavor of the Day - Dark Chocolate PB Crunch. It was the most delicious custard I have ever had. I will go there every single time I see that flavor.“

“Went through the drive thru at 2 this sunday. The food here never disappoints. The burgers were seared to perfection and the fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service is excellent and hats off to the kitchen staff today!“

“Since the Muskego location closed last year I've been going to the New Arby's. The past few times that I've ordered side salads, the lettuce is either brown and the shredded cheese is mushy as if it was sitting over the weekend. I bought 3 side salads today. 2 had tags on the bottom with Wednesday crossed out. I'm assuming they're good to sell till Wednesday. The one I'm eating now, has no tag...is it possible the tag was removed because it's "old"??? I know you don't specialize in salads, but it would be nice if they were fresh and full of lettuce, not the chopped up core of the head of lettuce. Also, I gave a $1.00. Didn't receive my coupon for a free slider. All in all, not happy with Arby's today!!“

“I was this Pizza Hut last week. It was a little late, about 8:30. The staff was very friendly and allowed me to do some computer work and have some pizza. The pizza just hit the spot. I look around the place was clean. The staff was busy with take out orders but checked if I need a drink refill. Nice place to go where you can relax and have something good to eat.“

“Got there around 1pm, buffet was open till 1:30. Wasn’t alot of selection out but the lady working I assume was the manager, made an individual pan of pasta for us and baked a pizza we requested. There were only 2 other people eating when we got there. The salad bar everything was fresh. She informed us they did the buffet also on Wednesday night. It was a 25 minute drive for us to get there.“

“I’ve had a few little glitches with my orders, but this place is super busy and run by lots of young kids. The general manager, Nate, is awesome. He displays professionalism and great customer service always with a smile.“

“Ordered a caramel frappe with 2 shots of espresso they gave me mocha ( tried it maybe they just added drizzle ) but it was mocha through and through. The manager was a delight, she fixed it no problem and has the biggest smile every time I’m there“
