“We pass this place on our 4hr drive to my parents and always plan a morning stop here for breakfast and coffee. We usually take it to go and it’s never disappointed! This past time I ordered ahead but mistyped my number, the order got accidentally cancelled but the staff quickly made the order to help us get back on our trip- which I was so very thankful due to a crabby toddler with us.“

“This restaurant is right next to a hotel I'm staying in, and so I decided to stop in. I got the General Tso's chicken and vegetable lo mein, both were excellent, has to be some of the best in the Madison area. The portions are large, the price is good, and the people working there were very friendly. I am looking forward to trying some more noodle dishes next time.“

“The BEST hamburger I have ever had! One night was talking about it in my sleep to my husband! LOL! We live 2 hours away and will make the drive again and again!“
“We are really happy that we chose Capital for our wedding reception. Dawn and colleagues were very accommodating and helpful, and the bartenders on the night were fantastic. We had the two indoors rooms and access to the biergarten, and (despite my best efforts with a killer wedding playlist) by the end of the night everyone was out in the biergarten listening to the great live band. Great venue, great people, great beer. Thank you!“

“Friendly locally owned place. One of the oldest buildings in Middleton. Ambience is a bit like drinking in your crazy uncle's basement (i.e. the furnace is in the middle of the room) with strong drinks and good food.“

“A completely unexpected Gem.
We were provided service, an unheard of thing these days where your name is yelled across a room and you retrieve your meal.walking in I really did not expect my food to come to my table, better yet someone checked on my satisfaction levels and everything. Then to my surprise the plate vanished. They don't take themselves too seriously, but it's nice that type of place either. While the appearance may look like some of the food barkers, the overall experience is just better. .
I had the spicy teriyaki it was good, it had heat, I regret nothing, except may a bit of salt lacking. Will return.“

“The bread is so fresh and perfectly sized. My sandwich included alfalfa sprouts and the were plentiful and fresh, when I came home I was able to give some to my cat and she loved them. Everything was fresh, Sorry to repeat myself but it's the truth. Staff went out of their way to make sure I was greeted and taken care of.“
