“I performed at 2fers on 1/31/26. I had an absolutely wonderful experience. The owners Tim and Cindy were very genuine, down to earth people. The staff/service were wonderful that night. The loaded tater tots were delicious! To haul my music equipment into the venue was a breeze, the back door was next to where I set up-that means a lot to us musicians! “Great nostalgic atmosphere with super friendly wait staff. Outdoor seating area is like eating in a park with big shady trees and picnic tables, even small kids' tables. We brought the dog and ordered a cheeseburger for her. The staff knew it was for the dog so they made it with no bun inside a container so she could eat out of it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.“

She was so nice and my daughter can't stop talking about how she has the same name as her friend and her name is almost just like hers. The other people were so nice as well. “Everything about the restaurant was amazing. We were surprised by the size when we walked in and how busy the place was, yet we were seated immediately with no issue. Our waitress was great, keeping our waters filled and checking in regularly. The food came in about 20 minutes or less despite the crowd, and was in greater proportions than we expected. The food was spectacular and was well worth the very respectable prices. No complaints at all.“

“We love walking through Lakeside Park and it always seems so well maintained in the warmer months. However, it was discouraging to walk through recently and see the walking paths with huge areas of ice and snow still. I even saw an elderly lady slip and fall because of it. It would be nice to see those maintained better.“

“I met some friends for breakfast at Rolling Meadows today and everything was wonderful. We had such a sweet, friendly waitress; very attentive. I had the Avocado Toast and they were happy to make it with a hard-boiled egg in place of the poached eggs it listed on the menu. The sourdough toast was so good and obviously homemade. It was the best breakfast I’ve had in years. My friends were all very pleased with their meals, too. I will definitely return, it was a pleasant and relaxing meal with delicious food!“

“What a cool spot. Amazing burgers homemade pizza with all fresh ingredients and a full bar. The nicest most friendly people behind the bar and a good selection of drinks. Great atmosphere with music and tvs! Try the half pound burgers grilled up fresh. Owners wife also sells her art in the bar check it out!“

“We went out to eat at a supper club in the Holy Land last night. Paid over $60 for just the 2 of us and couldn't even eat even a quarter of the food due to the lack of quality in the food. So today we came to Sombreros, the food was excellent! The portion sizes are very generous. We paid only $45 for the 2 of us with large portion meals and 2 drinks a piece. We had plenty of left overs to bring home. We will easily enjoy a total of 4 or 5 meals from this wonderful visit. The meat is excellent quality. I cannot say enough about how good this place is. It's a must try place!“
