“Traveling from Cincy to Wisconsin & picked a highly rated family restaurant!!Busy lunch crowd for superb food?I chose a salmon sandwich w/lemon aoli & a delicious bowl of New England Clam Chowder, made from scratch!! Service is very attentive, lovely greeter & pleasant “
“Chicken tenders and fanta were super good. The lady who took our order was nice and super fast. I also liked the 2000’s and 2010’s music they were playing.Kid-friendliness: There’s a lot of kid options and the kid friendliness is shown with how many kids are in the restaurant.“
“Incredibly delicious gyros, generous servings with both meat and sauce. Fast, friendly, attentive service. We were offered refills on our sodas a couple of times, checked on throughout our meal. Super cute atmosphere and vibe to the restaurant. Excellent all around, we will be back for sure!“
“Last two times I have gone here I have had bad food. Fried chicken livers way over done, and beef shank was dry and tough, variable were under cooked to he point of being raw. And last time I went somehow my bill came out to $168. I had drinks and bought cocktails mix to go, but just seemed like too much after I thought about it. Not sure if I trust restaurant manger, seemed to be playing around with the bill.“
“Very good food in a great location! Everything on the table was delicious. They have a terrific “backyard” with a huge screen…great for summertime baseball and catching some live music!Matty’s also has the best bourbon selection in the area!Dietary restrictions: Not sureKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“For the first time, very friendly and good service, the food tastes good at a good price ?❤Glory to GodVegetarian options: Different vegetablesDietary restrictions: Good meals whatever you wantParking: Off-street stationKid-friendliness: Depends“
“We celebrated our dad’s 80th birthday here, the second big milestone our family has celebrated at Parkside 23. The food was absolutely delicious and our server, Aaron, did a phenomenal job! The private room was perfect for us with just over twenty guests. It was a great space and beautiful ambiance. Our event coordinator, Brittany, was very helpful and responsive! Highly recommend it!“
“I try to not have high expectations doing new things/places, but I was pretty hyped about this place. And it did not disappoint, burger was awesome, pretzel bun ,bacon, mushrooms cheese and extra cheese. And cheese curbs were huge and not over fried given their size. And onion rings. Given color and taste of the deep fried food it seems safe to assume they are filtering and changing the oil regularly or using a high quality oil ... Should've asked if it was peanut oil. That's my favorite oil to use, and this resembled that closely.“
“Came here with my boyfriend for the first time. We were well greeted and seated. Seating didn't take much to wait for. We had an awesome waiter who recommended us some great breakfast options. The food was amazing, too. Would totally recommend anybody to come give them a visit and enjoy their food. 10/10!!!“
“Are you kidding me! Wow. Small pub big time food and beverage. I could not wait to get off 94 N to eat at this place. Fish sandwich out of this world. Bloody Mary worthy of a crown. If your into burgers this is your spot. What's best is that prices are so reasonable. A must!“
“Northstar Bistro isn't just about the food (though it's amazing!). The staff truly elevates the dining experience – they're friendly and attentive. Combine that with their creative cocktails and reimagined American classics, and you've got a recipe for a perfect night out.“
“This deli is very cool. Dimly lit a little more club atmosphere than deli but still cool. You order from a chalkboard and items very fresh. Had a cilantro and chorizo breakfast burrito that was out of this world. Huge also.Vegetarian options: There are meatless items on the menu.Parking: In CBS lot.“
“The BEST part of our visits is the exemplary customer service. The WELCOME door mat, the warmest ever. Aside from the delicious soups, pot roast and fish frys', it's folks like the ever loyal and longtime server, Dana, Lindsey, Tricia, Christina, Darcy, Tanya and then there's the funny, and patient gentleman greeter who coordinates and makes sure that the people flow is smooth and effortless. These folks are valuable assets to the Sluggo's dining room table and the community that chooses to gather here on a weekly basis.Vegetarian options: Salads with or without your choices of grilled meats.Parking: Plenty of parking behind the main building, and to the sides to include the area by the main entrance, furthermore easy access to two handicap spaces.Kid-friendliness: When my family visits from Texas, we often break bread here with the family to include our young grandchildren during the flexible dinner hours. The Sluggo ladies warmly welcome all youngsters who they gladly spoil as their own.“
“This is truly a neighborhood diner that is a local favorite spot. We went on a Saturday mid-morning for brunch, and trust me . . . We were not alone. That joint was packed. We had about a 25 minute wait which was cool. Once we got seated, we were greeted by our waitress. The wait staff is not like an ordinary staff. They are a group of people that look like they just put on whatever is clean and come to work. You really don’t know who works there as the restaurant staff look like the average customer. . , it’s kinda weird, but it works. Our waitress was awesome! We had the Buffalo chicken BLT wrap with hand cut fries and creamy coleslaw and the spicy chicken quesadilla with tortilla chips w/salsa and sour cream. The food was soooo flavorful and seasoned to perfection. It’s a very busy dish place where everyone minds their own business. Loved it!!! I will be back. This restaurant should be featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.“
“Someone in the reviews prior was talking about how this place is a hidden job with such wonderful food so I had to try it out. Wow. The Philly cheese is sooo delicious! Wings were hands down the best I’ve had yet in this area. Such fair prices too with large portions. Many spots in the area cost more, have less quality, and up charge using inflation excuses. This is not one of them. I can’t wait to go back.“
“Lagniappe Brasserie has been a favorite gem of a restaurant of mine for many years. Chef Andrew Tenaglia never fails to bring fresh, locally sourced food to the table. In all the years of operation, I have have never had a bad meal and the service has always been spectaculator. I was happy to hear about and support curb-side pick up during the COVID-19 epidemic. I encourage to place an order or two to help support this local independently owned and operated area restaurant so they will be there for us in the future.“
“The wings, the drinks, the DJ, the staff and the weekly specials is what brings me to a new spot and keeps me coming back. This place has all of that and more. We are always greeted right away even though I see some regulars. We don’t get treated any different, the food is always hot so when I wait I know it’s because the chef is cooking it the right way.they have weekly specials like margarita Mondays, wing Wednesdays, tenderoni (chicken tenders)Thursdays, fish fry Fridays, and Saturday and Sundays are specials on micheladas and mimosas.“
“Love this place!! Great food, great service, great atmosphere! (Sorry no pictures).. but have had some really good salads, wraps, soups and a grilled cheese (today) that was other-worldly! You can also enjoy a beverage or good cup of coffee/latte from their bar. Highly recommend!“
“Benny's is one of the best family restaurants I've been to in a very long time. Our server was fantastic, the food was delicious, and my classic bloody was made from scratch, not a mix! I had an avacado omelet, American fries and pancakes, Happy Birthday to me! Glad I picked here, we'll be back again.“
“Our service today was less than great! Over 2 hours for lunch for 2 people. She barely checked on us. She didn't fill our waters unless we asked. Asked for a wine list to pick a wine to go with dessert, and she more less just handed it over and walked away. Then it took her 20min to bring dessert.“
“First time here and had a pizza. I love pizza and this pizza is legit. Amazing sausage, decent pepperoni, and nice thin and crispy crust. Don't let the fact that the restaurant is connected to a bowling alley fool you. This pizza can stand on it's own. Great service too.“
“Trippy to be in this building as my first apt at age 18 (1991) was around the corner & this was the functioning firehouse for MF.Food was okay, nothing spectacular. Atmosphere is nice but loud, sound definitely carries in this venue. Staff however is great, very attentive, kind & on their game. I would try this place again.Parking: Noon on a Friday and almost impossible to find near by parking. In the heart of downtown area and next to middle school so parking is truly at a premium.“
“Mandi is an amazing server/bartender. Our drinks and food were served quickly and we didn't wait too long for any refills. She always has a smile on her face and communicates with every single customer. She is friendly and an asset to Liquid Johnny's. We will definitely be coming back!“
“Maxims was very accommodating to our large party last minute after my mom's funeral on March 16th. My brother called and made the reservations for 20-30 of us. This was one of mom's favorite restaurants for a big salad and a bowl of chicken dumpling. The waitress team did a phenomenal job making sure our drinks were refilled timely. Our orders came out timely as well. We had a wide variety of dishes that were ordered, and everyone enjoyed what they had. Thanks again to the team at Maxims for the great good, great service, and last-minute accommodations as Saturday was a long day for our whole family.“
“"the" Kitchen in Sussex, is a hidden gem. I am hesitant to review it publicly because it may lose its small town diner feel.I have been here 2x, both times for breakfast. Fast service, friendly service, quick coffee and good. My first time I had an omelette - nothing wrong with it. The second time I had the Corned Beef with two eggs over easy - nothing wrong with it. And, a side of ham - moist and not dryed out. The wheat bread both times were good.A nice, small town diner that for me does it right.I will be back (at least) 1x per week.“
“My husband agrees that the duck fat burger is one of the best he’s ever had! I love the vegetarian fat noodles they’ve had on the menu during the winter season, seriously mouth watering.. but pretty spicy (the Thai chilis they put in there are no joke and last time I was crying at the table for a good 25mins because I accidentally ate one), I wish there was a warning about that. The cocktails are good, but not anything fabulous or fancy. We’ve been back once since our first time there a couple months ago!“
“We went for trivia. It was packed, yet the service was quick and kind. The beer selection is very good and well organized. There were a ton of TVs which made watching baseball easy to do. Our server was helpful and made the experience better. The menu looked nice, but we stuck to cheese curds and beer.“
“My sons favorite placeKid-friendliness: The woman Maria who's been working there for years is always so sweet and genuine to my son. She always talks to him as if he's an adult and treats him with love and respect. I love her and the place itself“
“Went here for a Marquette Big East Tournament game during lent on a Friday. Lots of TVs, packed house, our servers seemed cool under pressure though and the upstairs had the game volume on.Food was good, tried a lot of different things and bartender was a little hammered but he seemed like he was still on top of his game lol.“
“What a great little spot for brunch. The smell outside was amazing as soon as we got close. Knew it would be good.Little quaint diner with well above average brunch food. Highly recommend the chorizo and avocado skillet, strawerry cheesecake waffle, and chicken and waffles. All 3 were great. The Valentines coffee was perfectly brewed. Most diners brun their coffee.Overall definitely adding it to the top brunch spots lost.Kid-friendliness: had high chairs availabke and brought crayons without us asking“
“For a chain breakfast restaurant, it was very good. The service was attentive and speedy, especially considering it was a busy Sunday morning. We had the biscuit and gravy, the works omelette and the farmhouse skillet. They all looked great, with fresh ingredients and were cooked perfectly. We especially liked the avocado, eggs, and potatoes in the skillet. It was very balanced both in texture and taste. The mocha mint iced coffee was a great finishing dessert. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely return in the future.“
“I've been to First Watch a few times, and I'm always very impressed at how nice their staff is to customers. My go to meal is the half salad and sandwich. They have a very good Cobb salad, fresh tasting ingredients. I also like how you can join the waitlist online.“
“I have been coming to Nicky Migz for the better part of two years.I have to say, the staff has always been there for me and my family, I have two daughters that love the family friendly and inclusive atmosphere.Yes the GM has had some demons and over my interactions I am confident to say he and their family have shown me nothing but to be a honest and thoughtful family.althoughthere has been instances of delayed service and wait times it has always been made correct. I willContinue to support Nicky migz bar and grill as long long as they continue to accept and support every single person who enters their establishment.“
“It was recommended to us from a local business that we made a stop at first as we live an hour away and wanted to get lunch before our drive back. FANTASTIC recommendation, great atmosphere, excellent food, waitress was wonderful. Thought it was going to take a bit to get our order, it did not, it was out within 15 minutes, our full order. I purchased the BBQ sauce to go to use on my own ribs this weekend. Ecstatic, as this is the best homemade BBQ sauce I have ever tasted.Crispy brussel Sprouts ✔️Cheese curds ✔️Smokin' Annie ✔️Candied Whiskey Bacon Burger ✔️Fries ✔️You will not be disappointed whatever you order off this menu!!“
“It's a Wonderful place since day one.. But a now regular customer for the last 5 months.. There are lots of places around my house with bad service.. I love this place and drive the 8 miles from my home to go to a family like loving place..“
“Love these little old school pubs just sitting there at a 4way stop. Been here since tge 60's. Bartender was spot on, friendly and quick service. One of the locals told me tgat the Prime Rib can't be beat (served on Mondays) and if you order steal tacos on Thursday, they use the left over Prime Rib. Hard to beat that. Very friendly regulars, and even bought me a shot. I will be back to try the food and will update my review.Parking: Small lot with a lot of cars. But you can be creative to make a spot.“
“Great food and atmosphere. We got BLTs, chive fries and cheese curds. All were delicious. As an added bonus Dan helped my mom locate her grandparents old property that had been lost to time. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for making mom's 70th birthday extra special!“
“When I first walked in I thought; ‘Crap, almost no wait staff.’ BUT, glad I stayed! Great service, great chow and very affordable. I went in because I was nearby and wanted breakfast. Next time it will be because I PLANNED to have breakfast here!“
“I gave them 5 Stars for Atmosphere but don’t expect a 5 Star restaurant this is a quant small town bar/ restaurant. We go for the Friday Fish Fry, they take your order when you arrive and seated when food is ready. I had the Baked Cod I have a big appetite and was very satisfied with the LARGE portion at a reasonable price. They are always packed but with their efficient system you get served in a reasonable time.Dietary restrictions: I had the Baked Cod with Butter no sides .Parking: Parking lot can get full when busy but there is street parking adjacent to restaurant.“
“Easter Sunday and one of the few places I found open. I was out for a @WiscoMary Sunday Bloody Mary, and I was not disappointed. Magoo's has their own Tito's infused vodka with jalapenos, their own special Bloody Mary mix, their Worcestershire sauce includes dry rub seasoning. My bloody was served with a cheese curd, before stick, and olive . Connor was an excellent bartender/server. Definitely a great place to watch the game and have their delicious wings. Great staff, great atmosphere, great food.“
“Two brothers with my cousins. So, let me get into it! The food at two brothers is very diner like from back in the 90’s. It was okay defiantly a breakfast kind of meal for sure! The service was amazing! Our waitress checked in often and also waters and coffees filled up. The atmosphere was Nostalgic the pictures and the décor really took me back and it was a very pleasant feeling of home. For a good meal and nostalgic feeling check out two brothers!“
“First time here and we’ll surely be back. Appetizers were delicious, we ordered the French onion dip and Brussels. Ended up splitting the Buffalo chicken sandwich which was nice and crispy. Service was 10/10. All around a great experience. Amazing drink menu too!“
“lovely local diner with good food and good service [cash only]I tried this place out for the first time this past weekend after being recommended by a friend and was not disappointed. It's a small restaurant that physically is showing signs of its age, but the good food and friendly staff more than make up for it in my opinion. They're a cash only business and only open breakfast-lunch, but prices are absolutely reasonable and I would definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area and looking for a bite to eat.Parking: parking next to the restaurant is limited to a few street spots in front, the next door liquor store does have a parking lot and there is free street parking nearby if you're willing to walk a block“
“Food was delicious but a little bit too greasy for us. The tartar sauce was different. I would suggest maybe putting a tiny bit of macintosh apple in there. The coleslaw was not sweet what I'm used to. It was very sour so I don't know if it's supposed to taste like that or if it was old. My son wanted to try the chicken tenders but they don't serve them on the same days as fish fries. My son ended up getting the last burger. They were all out after that. Not sure if this happens often but I felt bad for the people that came in after us that left because they were there for burgers. Service was a little slow. The atmosphere was a little too dark for us. Overall I give this a four star.“
“First time trying this place it's a small dining area and parking can be a bit of an issue since they're in a gas station parking lot, that is rather small. The food was fabulous. I had the taco dinner which on Tuesday was $17 for three tacos, a side of beans and rice as well as a free drink. The tacos I had were two ground beef, and one shredded pork they were very tasty. Really loved the seasoning on the shredded pork. The beans with the, cheese on top were fabulous. Mexican rice was cooked just right would definitely go back. The server was very attentive. They were just a little stingy on the ice for the ice water I requested for some reason other than that everything else was fantastic.“
“Long wait for the fish fry even after opening! Fish was good, but had a bone. Would definitely go back again though! Worth the wait. Not much of a bar area to wait around in. Was standing area only. Coleslaw and pancakes were really good as well!Parking: Had to park in church lot across the street.“
“Parking is difficult now that a new company took away the extra parking. Went there twice in the last couple months the and couldn't find any parking. Had to go elsewhere. They have the best blue gill and potatoes pancakes. They also have a peanuty popper bacon wrapped. Oh yum!“
“This has been our favorite place for breakfast, but alas, we found out today that a developer has bought the property. They plan to raze the site and build a chain café of some kind. We hope Tasha, Dawn, and all of the other workers have success finding new jobs. We will miss Crossroads!“
“My husband was told about this place from his boss. We decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did. The food was amazing. Went on a Friday and it was packed but got a table right away. The only negative thing I have is, the clam chowder soup could use smaller potatoes and more clams. Other than that the soup is a 5 out of 5 for flavor. The shrimp dinner I got had HUGE breaded shrimp. My husband got the breaded cod, very good. And let's talk about the coleslaw. I haven't had a decent slaw in yrs and this is sooooo good, if you like it creamy. We highly recommend this place. And we will definitely go back.....“
“Surprisingly good food, Much better than you expect! The bartenders are super professional and really know their stuff. The result is a fantastic bar to hang out at and get a bite. Give it a visit, you'll be impressed.Parking: Parking is a bit tight, come early if you want a good spot.“
