“I've only had Delivery, so I can't speak to the Service or Atmosphere, but the food is excellent for American Chinese fare. It's the best that my wife and I have tasted in 20 years in the Madison area.

Each dish has its own delicious and unique flavor profile, yet they all compliment each other well. We have been ordering from Chang Jiang for several months, trying various entrees, and we have not been disappointed yet!“

“Like one of the earlier reviews mentioned, I honestly do not understand the negative reviews, too. We just moved nearby to Great Wall. We used to live in a different part of Madison, and we were sad that we had moved farther from our old favorite Chinese restaurant, so we thought, why not try Great Wall? Turns out, it surpassed our expectations. We have been ordering the shrimp and broccoli, and it is so fresh, not greasy at all, and healthy. Great Wall has now become our go-to Chinese spot, and we plan to keep coming back for a long time. We no longer think about our old favorite Chinese restaurant. :)“

“We wanted some Chinese food, did an Apple Map search from our location and found Chopsticks. We had a fantastic meal! Parking was on the street and we were lucky to get a spot close by. The service was friendly and great. We were between lunch and dinner, so it was not crowded. We had Deep-Fried Veggie rolls to start and they were a great start while I tried to decide on what to order because there were so many great choices. I did a build Your own Bento Box and my wife did the Chicken Teriyaki and both were really good. We will be back because the food was great, the service was great and it was a nice place to eat.“

“the shrimp and egg over rice was really good, but my stomach started growling and grumbling and squealing a couple of hours after the meal. maybe the eggs weren't the best quality bc I had the craziest poops the day after... but again it tasted rly good! lol

braised pork over rice was pretty good but just sliiiiightly bland. could have used more soy sauce I think. not much meat when you take the fat off but pork belly is the traditional way of doing things so understandable! service was just okay, atmosphere also just okay“

“I've been coming here since I was a child, it has always been such a solid place to go to and the owners are wonderful people.

It is interesting to me reading some of these other reviews. Ive noticed customers being rude to the owners and selfish in peculiar ways that seem against normal interaction. The people working here are people. Its Chinese, there are vegetables. I am a bit tired of these types of reviews I am seeing under some restaurants.“

“I love this place! The food is really good and the portions are huge. If you spend $15 or more on your order on their website you get free fried rice too which makes it even more worth the already pretty cheap price. The lady that normally works there seems really sweet and hardworking. I am really picky and have a lot of little requests and they are accommodated every time. My order has never been late. Sometimes they throw in an extra crabrangoon when I order them, or an extra eggroll, which is so nice of them. Lovely place.“

They offered samples non-aggressively and they were actually good.
I tried both the orange chicken and the pepper chicken and rice for only like 12 bucks.
The food was delicious.
I prefer this food court.

“The dim sum menu is absolutely phenomenal. When we ordered, our server was very attentive and the food was amazing, easily the best chinese restaurant we've eaten at in Madison. The atmosphere is very calm and laid-back but not sterile; you don't feel uncomfortable holding a normal conversation, but you also aren't struggling to hear anyone over music or other loud conversations. The food itself was incredible, and even though we ordered and shared every dish as a family, there was not a single dish that even one of us disliked.

When we went, there was also a car meet which they seem to host every Thursday, which we had a lot of fun checking out after dinner. We are definitely coming back, and I can't recommend this restaurant more highly at this price point if you're looking for dim sum on the west side.“

“This was my first time ordering here, and I can't wait to order again! I had the crab rangoon, a spicy beef dish with broccoli and onions, and lo mein. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. They even included what I think was a pork roll, and it was really good too.

The portions were generous - I got three meals out of one order, which made it a great value. The staff was kind, and the food exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be back! I am a very selective eater as well, this was important to me.“
