“The deli at Hy- Vee came to our rescue this past Saturday. We placed an order at Whole Foods weeks ago for food for a bridal shower I was hosting. When we went to pick up the order the main entree was missing ( sandwich wraps) all we had were salads and fruit for the main food. Apparently, they sent an e-mail 3 days prior to let me know of the change in the order due to something they weren't able to get in. I didn't see the e-mail, nor did they try to reach me by phone. I asked if there was anyway that they could help me out or recommend something from their hot deli. The answer was " No there's nothing we can do for you" - I then called HyVee and the polite voice on the phone said "let me see what I can do for you, I will call you back in ten minutes. Ten minutes later he said " yes we can help you, we can provide you with sandwiches and wraps, It can be ready in an hour!! Wow!! Hats of to HyVee and the nice assistant manager who went out of his way to help us! My new shopping store as well!“
“Fantastic service by Mathias, it’s not very often that I give a 25% tip but he truly deserved it. Food was so delish, fast, and fresh! Highly recommend the Spicy garlic edamame and pork buns to start. We had the lobster dumplings which were equally as delicious. We will be back.“
“We got the crispy chicken dumplings (#1a) and the fresh pork spicy cat ear noodles (#28). The cat ear noodles were SO GOOD - I especially liked the wood ear mushrooms in it, they were absolutely delicious! This food was so delightful. I’ve heard good things about Taigu and wanted to give it a try myself, and I am very happy with the experience. The portions were large, so one entre can feed 2 people. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! So good!!!“
“Our first time at a hot pot joint. It was delicious and the staff made the experience special. Though they were very busy they went above and beyond to make sure we had a 5 star dining experience. We had prongs, squid, pork, beef, and an array of veggies.“

“I saved an opening announcement for this restaurant but forgot about it until I found it with my recipes recently. We really enjoyed the dumplings and Happy Family dish we picked up Thursday. I like dumplings and so often suspect what I get was bought frozen. Not the case here. Wrappers are thin as opposed to thick and doughy. Filling is tasty and includes a range of ingredients. Happy Family was meaty and flavorful! YUM!! We will be back!!“

“I tried the Hot & Crispy Chicken. Those crispy bits are fantastic. I thought eating the crispy lil bits from Popeyes chicken was something, be sure to try this! Lots and Lots of hot red peppers in the mix but its only a little spicy if your not chewing on the peppers. ?️“
“A friend recommended this and we decided to try it spur of the moment - and what an excellent decision. Everyone was so kind and nice. The cocktails were delicious- a bit strong but that’s a good thing! We started with pot stickers which were surprisingly crispy and full of flavor. I had the Dan Dan Noodles which I was told were were spicy - which they were! But in a good way. By the bottom of the bowl I was craving the spice. My husband got the Braised Pork rice which was amazing as well. I really appreciate the kindness and service here. I cannot wait to return!“
“The peanut butter chicken and General Tso's Chicken were outstanding. The beef and broccoli was okay. Massive amount of food for the money. The young lady that appears to run the place was so nice. The place was pretty busy with a steady stream of customers, yet service was basically immediate. I was kinda inebriated and looked kinda scruffy, but she still treated me very well. Also, she was right out there to wipe off the table next to me as soon as the guy eating there finished. Will be back soon!“

“This restaurant understands gluten free! Just ask when you order if they can make your favorite entree without gluten. I'm very gluten sensitive and am happy to have found a Chinese restaurant that can accommodate my allergy successfully--I don't get sick and the food tastes great! My spouse is a fan too. For years we lived closer and didn't appreciate Imperial Garden as we should have, but now we have moved farther away. I've learned that it's worth the thirty minute drive. We usually opt for pick-up. The people at the front desk are friendly and efficient. My husband's menu favorite is the Governor's chicken (spicy), and I prefer their mild but delicious mushroom chicken. The beef & broccoli is hit or miss, but the egg drop soup is a nice surprise with more veggies than expected.“

“Some of the comments are petty and unnecessarily harsh. This restaurant is one of the few bastions of authentic Chinese food in the Madison area. I order from Nani's frequently and have never had an issue. I was really impressed by their dim sum offerings- definitely the largest and best quality in Wisconsin. I had been craving preserved egg congee and couldn't find it anywhere else. They have soup with fish air bladder which I have also never seen in Madison. If you nitpick about not having a three star Michelin experience, you don't have realistic expectations. Complaining about rising prices and "smaller portions"? The cost of raw ingredients doesn't stay the same forever! If you've ever been to SF, things are twice the price and half the volume. These prices are totally reasonable- The restaurant is just trying to get by. People are so short sighted- Before you leave a harsh review complaining about the "ambiance" in a casual family run restaurant, maybe think about the consequences. If you don't support restaurants in your community then they will go away. Remember not to complain when there are no decent Chinese food options left.“
“First time here, we have eaten at many Chinese restaurants in Stoughton and Madison and I give this place 5 stars. The food was phenomenal and we had great service. Food was hot and fresh; we dined in. Dining room was clean. The crab Rangoon were completely filled, not those dry ones that have barely any filling and are mostly wonton in all the corners. We won't go anywhere else now. My daughter who is pretty picky (she's 11) loved all of our food and that is a first.“
“I hadn't eaten all day and was craving some Chinese food. Walked the 4 minutes from my house to here, ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo, and everything was out in less than 10 minutes. They carefully put my food in a bag and offered extra condiments. Rice was flavorful and has a good mix of veggies. Chicken was crispy, and the eggroll was really good, and I usually hate eggrolls. I am very happy to live next to this and will definitely be coming here more often now.“
“Just tried Unami Ramen for the first time! It is located on Williamson St, across from Feast. There is street parking available, but they also have their own little lot. We came during happy hour in order to try some half off saketinis! We had the lychee, snow pear, and hanami blossom. The lychee was our favorite. For an appetizer we tried the spicy tofu buns. They were good, but we wished they were filled more. The one piece of tofu felt a little skimpy. For ramen we tried the pork tonkotsu and the vegetarian tonkotsu. I was really amazed at how rich and flavorful the vegetarian one was! I feel like most ramen places aren't able to mimic the richness of a meat broth with their vegetarian options, so I was quite impressed!! Our server was also nice so overall a great experience.“

Wouldn't say it's a fancy place or anything. Most of the other patrons seemed to be college students. I was there with some old college friends and family. They had bull frogs, duck, and other options. Very nice selection. And very fairly priced.I had the Mongolian beef. We also got country style pork and beef fried rice. I selected beef egg foo young because very few places can make it well. 4 patties, with sauce in a separate container. Enough to feed 2. The quality of the patties was A- and the sauce B+ (slightly sweet), that with a small amount of soy sauce corrects. I will be trying the shrimp egg foo young before moving on to other items. I asked the cook what his signature dish was, he replied General Chow Chicken. I am looking fwd to that.“
“I went to Chen's before a night out on state street one night and have been going back ever since. Classic late night comfort food. Highly recommend the Shu Mai and Steamed Buns for decent price per portion. The downstairs area appears to be a small dining space, but there's additional seating in the spacious upstairs dining area that overlooks State Street! Some other pros are they're open late and they bring out your food pretty quickly :)“

I always come to global food market JUST for the brisket rice noodle soup (#20, $12.95) and the occasional mango sago ($3.95)!!!! I’ve ordered the same dish at least 6 times. The meat portion is on another level, ingredients are so fresh and broth is so hearty and well seasoned. When first served it doesn’t look like much because there’s just so much broth but the bowl is huge. “I have lived in McFarland basically my whole life and Main Moon is a staple! My family and I order it for pick up once every 3ish months. I love it. I get their egg rolls, beef and vegetables. My daughter gets sweet and sour chicken (10/10 so good!) and my mom gets General Taos which is also very good. Their broccoli is the best.“

The orange chicken is tangy and crunchy, like Panda Express on their best day. Hot and spicy chicken is just how it sounds, and also really good! “Good food, I just had a beef with broccoli combo, well priced and came with a drink. I’ve been to a lot of Chinese places around the Midwest, and worked for one in my home town. But the egg roll I got with my combo was actually perfect. It’s an easy thing to throw on the menu, but it’s rare to find one this good. Although I had simple food, it was done right and filled me up with leftovers. Only critique I’d have is that dine in doesn’t have music playing, but otherwise the atmosphere is good, & they have nice art hanging/for sale within the dining area. Overall deserves a try!“
