“Went to Hector’s after the Home Show we used to go here often back in the early 2000s and thought we would try it for old times sake Boy it’s even better than we remember!! The margaritas are great and the food is realllly good Tracie had the carny acasda tacos and I had the Salmon with butter garlic tequila caper sauce It was FN spectacular!! I feel like at this point I kind of animals don’t miss the food in Texas but I still miss some of the dishes this place here will have our business going forward the Tacos de carnitas and de asada were delish and so where the Gorditas the red salsa personally wasn’t my style but hey!!!! AMAZING FOOD!!“

Still an ok option if you’re in the area and in the mood for Mexican food“

Fresh chips and bright fresh salsa. I ordered the flautas which came with 4 in the order and rice and beans....more on that in a minute. They let me get 2 shredded chicken and 2 shredded beef. The beef was insane....I usually get chicken...those were terrific as well. The beans were perfection, incredible!!!!! It was a real fiesta in my mouth...by far the best Mexican Restaurant I've ever eaten at. Fried ice cream was delightful as well. This is my place now. I told my husband that if I go missing someday, check at La Salsa 2 first because chances are I haven't been abducted, just enjoying some tasty Mexican food. 10/10, would recommend.“
