“While visiting Milwaukee from Michigan, we have been trying to find a good local ice cream shop. We stumbled upon The Purple Door this evening, and the only thing I'm sad about is that tomorrow is our last day. The ice cream was phenomenal and we received great service. We'll definitely go back for one last visit during our trip, but I'm finding myself wondering if we'd be able to keep some pints frozen during our 6.5 hour drive home. So if you're in the area, you won't regret treating yourself here!“

“Back in March, of this year, with one day to go visiting family in Grafton, we happened upon Port Washington’s Toucan Restaurant. We wished we had discovered Toucan much sooner. Come April, we managed to stop in four times! What a pleasure! The food and custard offerings are excellent and the prices highly competitive. “Sul” is a great chef in preparing both Middle East and American taste delights. Jackie, among her other duties, is a most cordial hostess. With no disrespect intended for the other more well known custard venues in the area, Toucan and their unique custard creations, in our opinion, surpass them. And the young folks employed at the facility are really kind and helpful. Even the atmosphere is such that we noticed customers seem to enjoy chatting with strangers to the area like us. “I went into the drive thru and ordered a decent amount of food for one person, I thought it would take a few minutes, but I immediately got my food and a smile from the workers. The food was great, I have no complaints and would recommend this Culvers to anyone.“

“Dairy Queen Grill and Chill Saukville, Wisconsin was a pleasant surprise. I must admit that I haven't been to a Dairy Queen in quite a while. This location was clean and well maintained. We wanted to pick up an ice cream cake for the boy's 5th birthday. We selected a colorful, already decorated cake. We requested some writing on the cake, and we were pleased to find that one of the associates was very artistic. We also ordered a Dairy Queen soft serve cone. The cake turned out fantastic. The cake tasted fresh and everyone enjoyed it.\n\nPrices were reasonable. There is a parking area in the front of the restaurant. Look forward to the next trip. I definitely want to try one of their burgers!“

“came through the drive thru and was told to park and wait with a number, which is pretty normal for culvers. after waiting for a while (10-15ish mins) & seeing other cars come and go my boyfriend decided to go inside to check on the order. he found out it got lost somehow, but the guy working the counter was extremely sympathetic and kind about it. he made sure we got our order as quickly as possible and gave us a few coupons for the trouble. mistakes happen, but great customer service really does make up for it. he didn’t catch the employee’s name, but said that he was blonde— this was sun 11/3 around 6pm.“
