“While visiting Milwaukee from Michigan, we have been trying to find a good local ice cream shop. We stumbled upon The Purple Door this evening, and the only thing I'm sad about is that tomorrow is our last day. The ice cream was phenomenal and we received great service. We'll definitely go back for one last visit during our trip, but I'm finding myself wondering if we'd be able to keep some pints frozen during our 6.5 hour drive home. “Back in March, of this year, with one day to go visiting family in Grafton, we happened upon Port Washington’s Toucan Restaurant. We wished we had discovered Toucan much sooner. Come April, we managed to stop in four times! What a pleasure! The food and custard offerings are excellent and the prices highly competitive. “Sul” is a great chef in preparing both Middle East and American taste delights. Jackie, among her other duties, is a most cordial hostess. With no disrespect intended for the other more well known custard venues in the area, Toucan and their unique custard creations, in our opinion, surpass them. And the young folks employed at the facility are really kind and helpful. Even the atmosphere is such that we noticed customers seem to enjoy chatting with strangers to the area like us. “Found this place on maps. First visit and now a HUGE fan. I love a good gyro, and thats why I went. I was amazed at the price and size of the gyro combo. Good portion of everything (gyro, fries, and bottomless soda) for under $12. The tzatziki was exceptional IMO. Very thick and good flavor. You will not be able to pour or squeeze this on - it's like a solid. Clean and very friendly atmosphere. Order at counter with service to your table. Great crispy pita, very good shaved meat, tomatoes were fresh, and a good potion of onion. And no lettuce! I hate when a place puts lettuce on a gyro! Cannot wait to go back. FYI, the cup of dipping cheese for fries was only another dollar.“

“Culver's food is awesome as ever. The only issue is that there's no online table ordering. Seems like 90% of other locations already have this, and it's very convenient, especially when the place is packed. Other than that, no complaints.“
