We stumbled upon The Purple Door this evening, and the only thing I'm sad about is that tomorrow is our last day. The ice cream was phenomenal and we received great service. We'll definitely go back for one last visit during our trip, but I'm finding myself wondering if we'd be able to keep some pints frozen during our 6.5 hour drive home. “Back in March, of this year, with one day to go visiting family in Grafton, we happened upon Port Washington’s Toucan Restaurant. We wished we had discovered Toucan much sooner. Come April, we managed to stop in four times! What a pleasure! The food and custard offerings are excellent and the prices highly competitive. “Sul” is a great chef in preparing both Middle East and American taste delights. Jackie, among her other duties, is a most cordial hostess. With no disrespect intended for the other more well known custard venues in the area, Toucan and their unique custard creations, in our opinion, surpass them. And the young folks employed at the facility are really kind and helpful. Even the atmosphere is such that we noticed customers seem to enjoy chatting with strangers to the area like us. “I picked up an order and realized when I got home that my daughter’s burger was missing. I called the restaurant and was greeted by a girl named Maddison who was sincerely apologetic and assisted me well. She gave multiple option on what she could do but I ultimately chose to come in and have it be made fresh. Great customer service but wish I didn’t have to go back in the first place. Look throught your order before leaving here!“

“Culver's food is awesome as ever. The only issue is that there's no online table ordering. Seems like 90% of other locations already have this, and it's very convenient, especially when the place is packed. Other than that, no complaints.“

An employee of yours Carsman I think his name is, came out to help her get in to the car. I can’t tell you out grateful we both were for his kindness. Thought you should know.
